Yes, this is the problem. It was a problem even before PVP was once again F2P, honestly.

That's a laugh. Think regs can't go the way of ranked? That may be one of the reasons ranked no longer exists. Too little interest. You kick someone, they may not return. Ever. Do you only want to play against players that are as good or better than you? Just asking.

During Warzone PVP and Arena's, I have noticed a significant number of Level 75 players that never graduate from Mids to Endgame PVP. Even after bringing one toon through mids to endgame, then playing through with another, I saw some of the same Level 75's with their full bonus gear entrenched in Mid-level PVP. They roam Mids leveraging probably the biggest handicap in the game against less equipped players to inflate their own ego's (however small). They NEVER leave. My opinion is that the tiered-pvp brackets are broken to begin with, due to ridiculous discrepancies in stats and abilities between lvl46 and 79, but the fore-mentioned issue is the icing on the cake. Why on earth that hasn't been addressed, I cannot fathom. It appears to be the biggest hack without actually having to hack. Is this the way it is intended to work? It would be novel if success in PVP could be primarily based on player's skill.

I had no idea that this could even be done until it happened by accident. I used a Black&Black dye pack on an armor piece only to find out that it was installed onto the intangible armor inside the outfitter, not the actual piece sitting in my inventory. Why would this even be a thing that can be done? At the least, why not prompt a warning for this action? Customer service, who replied in the average time of 2 days, told me, "Tough luck, pal. Wish we could do something for you". I'm paraphrasing there, but they did nothing to compensate me. So at the end of it, my dye pack does not exist in any armor piece within my inventory. It is only a figment inside of a stamp within the character outfitter. Can't unequip the armor from there or it's lost forever, and can't equip it to a companion since it isn't "real". I am puzzled by this choice of mechanics. Not thrilled about it. Let this be a cautionary tale.

I'm a sub. Longtime player from years past. The new launcher does not play well with PC. Tried installing the game on multiple PC's with different configs running Windows 10. All were fully updated, all are modern hardware with good specs. Does not download the game, only hangs showing the animated loading symbol. Solution: Install SWTOR through Steam. Works without issues. The game also runs very well performance-wise. Just as well as stand-alone client.

The new launcher has compatibility issues. In other words, it's broken. I tried an install on multiple PC's running windows 10. Use Steam. It works flawlessly.

For anyone else experiencing this issue, who would like to continue playing SWTOR despite the lack of customer/technical service, there is a solution to this problem. Install the game through Steam. After testing, SWTOR on Steam is no more taxing on my hardware than running it through the stand alone launcher.

It is disappointing that no actual person from EA in the service department has reached out to either of us. Just a copy pasted response.

PC, 64-bit Windows 10, i7 6700k, AMD R9 300 Series, 32g ram. Previous launcher installed with no issues, but this new launcher does not function at all. Download does not begin. Well, it's been fun. Adios.

I began reinstalling the game after a PC system restore. No prior data folder remained. I downloaded the new launcher and after logging my credentials and hitting "Log In", it just hangs. The download of game files/assets does not occur. I am subscribed, but neither can I download, nor enter the game. The loading symbol spins but nothing else occurs.

This update made no significant changes to Sage/Sorc balance. Your game is still broken. Why must defeating this class be a 3 stage process? There is very little concern for focus. Certainly much less than all other non-stealths. *Reduce self heal amount *Remove barrier OR phasewalk. Your choice.

FOTM? What month is that? Surely not now. Only way you'll be OP is with a pocket healer. Otherwise, dead on focus. Weakest survivability for melee pvp.

Shoulder canon is garbage. If they want to make it more useful, allow it to really not respect the GCD by letting it fire while channeling other actions.

You're making big assumptions about knowledge. Especially in the balance departmeent.
