  1. Hmm gotta love the extra torture on top of wondering if we got to keep our names.
  2. Agreed, hate it. It wouldn't have been difficult to keep /t /w etc with the : still at the end.
  3. My first experience with MMO's that had specific RP servers was EQ1, and there was a specific rule set. While that might not be THE first instance of an Rp server the server type seems to have stuck around thru the genre. The main reason I think is as you already pointed out, and that is the type of people that usually play on an RP server.
  4. Lets see. Outfits.. right they take all the decent customizable armor out funneling people to the cartel market for those outfits. IE rl money. Deco for SH's and ships same thing anything decent is cartel market only. So we have to pay cash above and beyond even for EMOTE's but what do PVP'ers have to pay for exactly? Outside of the same sub as Rp'ers nothing at all. Please present your argument to someone more gullible.
  5. Not always the case, My sub went down for 2 days over a weekend because of a bank error, still screwed out of the end HK mission though.
  6. Actually, every time someone buys a hypercrate we ALL lose, it tells EA that we are willing to spend a ton of money on the roulette wheel. The only reason this economic "plan" works for them, is because we let it. Statistics or not, it does not change the fact that it's the gamer's that are losing.
  7. It will be interesting to see if the US follows Singapore's example with this, and it CAN happen. EQ2 was forced to remove goblin tickets because of gambling laws, I'm not seeing this being to far off.
  8. Yer kidding right? Pre 4.0 the blue Yavin 4 cases from nodes used to yield 10k.. On AVERAGE a white crate would yield 3.5k
  9. Why does it matter if there is a visual indication of our class or not? I love this idea as well, it always irked me that agents couldn't use a blaster even though a good many cut scenes show us using one.
  10. Not assuming anything, Bioware Metrics showed that PVE/Story was what players wanted, hence what they are working on, they stated as much themselves.
  11. GSF isnt even close to FPS, GSF reminds me of an old arcade game stuck down a linear path fighting predetermined sequences. FPS is completely different.
  12. That would be interesting. Wouldn't effect PVE, and would be a different style of game play. Sadly I doubt Bioware would do it, but it WOULD be more fun.
  13. In EQ1 this was called blacklisting, it did wonders in curbing the more obnoxious players. However since the arrival of the entitled WoW crowd those types have multiplied horrendously.
