  1. **Herpaderp squad, a 16 man progression team within W-T-F is looking to fill 3 slots. 1 healer, merc preferred 2 DPS, ranged preferred This is a progression team and a new team within the guild. Our first scheduled run in 12/14. If this is something that interests you, please pm en'slaviour, bobbathefett or enslaver in game
  2. Actively recruiting for 3.0 16 man team. Current needs for this team are large spots to be filled: 1 tank 4 healers 10 dps This will be a high progression oriented group. We will raid Sun/Mon/Thurs starting 730PM. Please contact me here or in game on enslaviour / bobbathefett for details. (Prefer here since I will likely be on an alt abusing 12x XP)
  3. With all of the end of expansion movement we are looking to fill spots in 2 groups: First up the PIMP team is looking to fill a ranged DPS spot. Looking for someone who can pull 3k parse on training dummy, preferred, but personality is fairly high importance to this team more than parse/gear. We will also consider a melee DPS, but it is certainly not the highest priority of the two. This team is 10/10 DF/DP HM and 1/5 DF NiM. This team is progressing through NiM content, but need to get the last position filled to keep pushing. Raid times are Mon/Thurs 730-930pm PST Second team, Reborn, is looking to fill 3 dps or 2 dps and 1 healer slots. This is one of our NiM progression teams. You are expected to know the fights at least in theory and parse 3.3k min on the training dummy. This team is 4/5 DF NiM, and looking to finish up DF prior to end of expac, as well as move into DP NiM. Raid times are Tues/Wed 630-9pm PST. If interested in either team, please contact me on here (best option since 12x xp leveling might mean I am on an alt, include character name), or in game on one of the following characters: Bobbathefett Bubathefett En'slaviour
  4. We are looking to recruit a ranged DPS for out PIMP raid team. The PIMP team is 10/10 HM and starting NIM content (1/10 NIM for ref). We would prefer a sniper or merc, but will consider other dps for the slot. This team is more interested in your fit with the group then your overall gear, we can assist gearing you if you are the right person. Key points: -Raid times Monday/Thursday 1530 PST - 2130 PST (sometimes longer if we are pushing for something) -You will be expected to bring all raid materials and be on-time -Know your class/have raid awareness -Prefer ranged dps, will consider melee -Priority given to sniper/merc If you are pm me here, or send a message in game to en'slaviour or bobbathefett to discuss the position.
  5. I was fairly certain I ran through those I might not have, so I will go search for them again. If you account for the bonus, say comparing armoring with 168 bonus vs 180 straight armorings does it still favor the set bonus then? I would be inclined to believe no, but you may have numbers around that.
  6. On several occasions now I have been told that it is wiser to put the higher stat armor plates instead of the set bonus as the set bonus gains are marginal at best. Is this true for high level tanking, or is it just anecdotal?
  7. So, I will preface, I am still fairly new to the game in general, but have been in a HM/NiM guild tanking since I was first able to. I have read dipstik and keyboardninja's posts on stat distributions and weights and understand them fairly well, but in a discussion in guild last night with a few guys on our NiM teams they started to push the weight of shield over absorb, and eventually mixing in a a couple of high endurance mods over their high defensive stat counter parts. The key point that they made was that KBN's numbers were based off of an even distribution of white/yellow attacks when that is largely not the case (I am not refuting KBN just hoping someone with a better grasp can give me some direction). With that said, I saw in dipstik's thread a powertech from suckafish pointed to the above stat distribution I am referring to where at some point the break even point for health favors us over stacking defensive stats, and that shield is by far more important in practical execution than absorb and certainly well more than defense. To the point, the guys/ladies who tank the high end NiM content, how are you distributing your stats/what was your progression like and did you notice any changes if you deviated from KBN/dipstik's numbers?
  8. I currently have a powertech that I am looking to get into a raiding team, preferably on weekends, but other days will work as well. I prefer to tank, but am open to a DPS slot as well. PM me here or leave your contact information and I will reach out. Thanks
