  1. Cathar Dualsaber is missing graphics, it just appears as a big green ball
  2. Hi guys, its me! No not Demunoki, I'm just possessing his body again. Since Demunoki will no longer be a suitable vessel after he loses his subscription, I will be re-subbing once chapter 5 is complete to post the updates to it and finish off the prologue arc. At that time I will be clarifying what lies ahead for this saga and its place on these forums.! I hope you guys enjoy this part, although you might want to keep a box of tissues nearby while reading, some of the content is truly traumatic (at least it was traumatic for me to write it, honestly not sure whether other people will find it the same). I think its also the longest part yet, although it may not feel like it as there's a lot of content stuffed in here (IMO). Sorry, I'm rambling. Let's get on with the show!
  3. http://parsely.io/parser/stats -- you're welcome
  4. That's a Vet strat, you pull both behind the door and burn assassin first. Doesn't work on MM tho
  5. In PvE (Ops), Lethality is among the top three highest parsing specs (http://parsely.io/parser/leaderboard) and very viable due to 30m DoT range, very effective DoT-spreading (Toxic Haze! Yayyyy!) and the ability to sustain some form of damage at 10m range. Concealment, on the other hand, is a very weak spec due to positional requirements (Backstab being the only ability left in the game to require being behind the target), strict rotation that doesn't allow for screwups caused by certain mechanics and no armor debuff on the target like most dps classes have (+5% tech damage etc). However, it should be easier to stealth rez (if BW hadn't broken it lol) In PvP (non-ranked, I'm not sure about ranked), it's the other way round: Lethality has it pretty hard due to missing defensives and a long warm-up time (it needs 4 GCDs or around 6 seconds to fully apply DoT's for a proper "burst" rotation) Concealment has the so-called "lol-roll", which gives you basically immunity for 3 seconds every 10 seconds, one of the most annoying roots with crippling slice (enemy can't turn around) and some serious burst EDIT: As was correctly pointed out below, I meant dueling other players, I don't PvP enough to be sure about objective play It's always best to learn both roles just for those few occasion where the other spec is better, but if you're planning to do both Ops and PvP with one spec, I'd recommend Lethality simply due to the insane damage it has
  6. I had a similar experience recently in a Ravagers SM. A couple of people were asking in the guild if somebody could help out a friend guild (it's Rep Side, so I guess that's a thing ) who was doing a preorganised run of Ravagers. In the end it was a Tank (Guardian) , DPS (Sage?) and me as a Heal (Sage) from our guild and the rest from theirs (One SOMETHING Tank, two Mando DPS, a Shadow DPS and a Mando heal. We zone in and I have a look at their gear rating. All members of the other guild had a rating of 246+, with my co-healer having one of 248 with pretty good stat allocation. Now, if I were that healer, I would refuse to dual-heal a Story Mode ops... it's just dead BORING - in fact, the only reason I didn't soloheal myself was because my non-legacybindable gear pieces were 230ish (I main a Sorc on Impside). First warning flag. The moment we meet up in front of Sparky, the second flag pops up: The Tank from my guild notices the Mando DPS all have around 1k accuracy (For those unaware, the accuracy bar is 737). They point it out and tell the DPS to get proper Augments. NOW. First Sparky fight, Sparky goes onto enrage at ~10% and suddenly bugs out and resets. Now, I know the DPS from our guild, and he's one of the best I know. How it was even possible to hit enrage? During the second round I observe the Mando's and find out: First off, the Mando healer in her pristine 248 gear was only keeping Kolto Shell up and DPS'ing the rest of the time, which explains why I felt like I was healing Hard Mode. Now, to the two DPS. Apparently, somebody told them that Grav Round was evil. And that they shouldn't channel evil. Meaning both of them only used Grav Round when it was procc'ed and therefore an insta-cast and filled the rest with Explosive Round. Imagine the DAMAAAAAAAAAAGE! So, anyway, I'm weeping in front of my screen watching people with better gear then my main utterly destroy their class, but in the end we manage Sparky. Onto Bulo Now, at Bulo I realised something: The tank from their guild did not speak German (I play on a German Server, with 99.9% German speaking guilds). Normally I don't have a problem with that, everybody should be allowed to play where they want. However, if you also don't really understand English and the message has to be translated seven times for you, and you need a deep explanation of everything past Sparky, then it's really starting to grate my nerves. And so, we wipe thrice on Bulo because that tank messed up tactics... This trend continued through the whole Op, and I'm quite proud of myself for living it through when we come to loot distribution. Guess who hogged all the 236 rating tokens? (Sorry for a bit of a long post) EDIT: Holly crap this is rambly... Please excuse me I am in serious need of Caffeine..
  7. Noxious Knives now reliably spread Corrosive Dart for Lethality
  8. Newbie question: Which utility choice is better: Circumvention or Imperial Tactics (i.e holotraverse giving a free TA or sever tendon giving a free TA)? Here are the pro's and con's as I'm currently aware, am I missing any? Holotraverse: Very long Cooldown, Gapcloser (can be both positive and negative) but also OF (i.e not affected by) the GCD Sever Tendon: Moderate Cooldown, 10m range but ON the GCD
  9. For some reason I just pulled him through running to close to him, even though I specifically remember him not attacking until being attacked - am I going mad?

    Happy birthday Luna!
  11. Hey all, I recently found out about how you could get the Tauntling/Orobird pets by following some steps that weren't part of any mission (klick this, travel there, stand here etc.) or the Data Mining achievement where you have to kill a random assortment of droids. So I was wondering if there were any other fun little side activities (whether you get a notable reward isn't really important here, I'm just interested in the process) Cheers!
  12. Hey everyone! Sorry I'm late, but that's due to my own tardiness and nothing else. Also, I'm moving this weekend, so I unfortunately won't have any time to write this week. Take a break and we'll see you all 2 weeks from now when my birthday (May 6th) comes around, when I'll have a present for you!
