I didn't really mind the buff dependency. It gave a greater feeling of community to the game when you'd just chill out in a cantina or Med center. I wish they would have lasted around 5 hours instead of the 2-3 hour doc buffs.

LOL... this is a horrible idea. I play republic but a damage boost would be horrendous. Let people play what they want to play. The only good thing I could see would maybe be a 10% experience boost... maybe.

As has been said, your CPU is the bottleneck. Don't worry about RAM, you'll barely see an increase with that. I use the same GPU and get over 60 fps all the time. Try upgrading to an i5 2500k, they OWN. My specs: 560 ti 2gb i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600 RAM You have a great GPU that should be able to power through this game and pretty much every other modern game out now.

Hah... this will max out any game, let alone TOR. My PC isn't even that good and I max out the setting with a constant 90 fps.

This is really good - exactly what I use.

You can buy specific PvP gear at level 20, 40, and 50. They are all oranges. You use warzone commendations to buy them. I'm not sure if PvP gear is actually more effective than normal gear with the same stats, but I always use my PvP gear. You find PvP objectives on the Republic Fleet from a quest giver.
