I’ll have to look for that podcast. Did they remove/change Reusable med packs? I had an entire set I used to trade between my characters, but they aren’t called that anymore, and I haven’t tried to use one for fear of losing it.

I noticed Flashpoints can now be completed solo story mode. Do we have to play them in order, or can we skip some? Or does it even matter if I miss them altogether? I do plan on doing quite a few both story and I’m groups since I enjoy quite a few of them.

Thank you, I might take you up on the offer. I have another question. I was doing some biochem crafting last night and I noticed one of the schematics I learned require a level 1 slicing tech item. Aside from HOPING they are cheap on the GTN, are there any alternatives to getting these?

Some old quest are hidden, good to know!! Thanks As far as losing companions go, it’s funny that you mention Vette because she’d be the one I’d care to lose. Her story arc and comedy and sarcasm is great. Funny story, when this game 1st came out I didn’t know companions had different roles such as healing, tank or dps. I kept Vette with me until somewhere during Tattoine before someone told me I needed to switch to Quinn. I remember having to skip a lot of my story quests because I couldn’t beat certain bosses. Mainly the boss fight on the republic spy station, and those Jedi in the hut on Tattooine. I just remember thinking, she’s funny! Why would I want a stiff military guy with me?! Haha

Thanks all! Super excited to play again! Going to take my time through the story. Will be fun seeing what’s changed. Already noticed a few quests not available anymore. It appears that if I stay my path, I’ll be fine. Will be weird seeing so many changes, but fun as well. Are all of these expansions over the years built right into the story mode? I remember at one point logging on, during KOTET and seeing an option to choose a different story and you could lose a companion? What was that all about because I like the Sith Warrior companions the most so far.

Thanks for the information! I enjoy the story mode, they did a good job with that. I also do Heroics, FPs, Warzones, and I used to do some of the early space battles as well. I remember once I reached 50 before, I was doing FPs like crazy hunting for Columi (if I remember correctly) and Rakata gear. I did a lot of Warzones too. I joined this game with Apex, they ditched the game within year 1, well... everyone I knew at least. Luckily their sister guild was Virus. They were more than happy to accept me, but eventually I was solo again. I can’t believe commendations are gone, but it sounds easier to gear these days. I will be leveling mainly through the story, but I will jump to a WZ or FP quite often as those are just fun!

I haven’t played this game seriously since Rise of the Hutt Cartel. That’s along time. I’ve only ever rush leveled characters to unlock legacy perks. Then life would happen, I’d come back to level a character, and so on. My questions is a series of questions. Be warned, I’m so lost haha! The last time I played, I was doing dailies on Ilum, Belsavis, The Black Hole. I think, I THINK, I did Section X once. My last gear set was Rakata, before picking up some better gear while questing on Makeb trying to beat that big Hutt! Are dailies still a thing? Where are planetary commendations? I used to have tons. I used to upgrade my armor with these commendations while leveling. Are there any pointers/suggestions/guides for a “new” old player looking to get back into this game? Currently I created a new character and I’m doing story mode from scratch, just to ease myself back into the game.

Exactly how FAST do you have to deactivate these panels? I got them pretty quick, or at least I thought I was quick last time I did this. The odd part is, he didn't start killing us at this point, it was another round or 2 of droids that spawn in the corners before I realized he was killing my party. He just stays in the middle and kills us all. Is there an indication of when this happens? Will this "rage" ware off? I'm level 42, reduced to 39 and I didn't expect this much trouble. His fragmentation grenade killed me twice for like 3500-ish damage. That's crazy!!!

OK, next question. Sorry for the bombardment. The story awarded skills that become available for all characters on account, The Force Choke, Force Storm, and Flamethrower for example. I know I've unlocked them, and they've been available to me before, but now I can't find them. Where are they hidden at? I haven't had to use a Heroic Moment yet, but I'm curious.

I haven't played this game in a few years, but I'm getting back into it, and I'm enjoying it. There's been a lot of changes that I'm still getting used to. One thing that I noticed (and I liked it) was that when I finished on Korriban, and went to check out Black Talon, I noticed a new option of "Story Mode", and I was able to do this mission without a group. I'm sure the rewards may be greater with a group, but I've always enjoyed the flash points and the story that goes with them. Can they ALL be completed via story mode (SOLO)? I ask this because when I went to try Hammer Station (quest taken from Dromund Kaas), it didn't seem like it was being offered for me to solo it. Is there something I have to do on each on to get story mode access? Another question I have it, every datacron I've come across so far says it's no longer available, but this is a new character on my account.
