  1. Dear Bioware, While, we appreciate that you are putting new armor sets into the cartel market, most of the legacy armor are actually way more appealing but require an upgrade in graphic. Some sets that you could "reforge: are: MAIN ONES TO CONSIDER Grand Inquisitor Dark Praetorian War hero Supercommando Corellian Inquisitor Battleborn OTHERS TO CONSIDER Battlemaster Force-master Charged Hypercloth Force Expert The Dreadseed Set (Empire side) Exarch Mender MK-26 Vandinite Asylum Remanent Resurrected Inquisitor Ablative Resinite Annointed Zeyd-Cloth Force MAgister jedi Stormbuard Rakata Forcelord Rakata Bulwalk Shadowsilk Aegis tatooinan Counselor battlemaster Weaponmaster Dramassian Force Expert Juggernaut Renown Remnant Resurrected Warrior Remnant Arkainian Inquisitor traditional Nylite
  2. Please, upgrade (reforge?) some of the old Armor Sets in the Game. I am particularly interested in the Grand Inquisitor Armor Set.
  3. This new gearing system has left me very disappointed. Whoever thought of this should be fired. Bioware has made gearing unnecessarily difficult and complicated. I understand your desire to manufacture difficulty and create the illusion of "gear progression." This, however, is not the way to do it. The renowned system wasn't the best, but it did at least combine all aspects of gameplay into a single currency for purchasing gear. Forcing people to play GSF and OPs is more harmful than beneficial.
  4. Just play deception assassin. For 7.0, I think Hatred is better. although Darkness in PvE gear might be more desirable for PvE.
  5. Twi'lek are just a popular species in the game. There is no one reason that you could point to as the overwhelming cause for someone to play a Twi'lek Inquisitor. Darth Talon didn't exactly use a double-bladed lightsaber...... As for the Story, I think Darth Occlus a human male makes more sense. This is because being strong in the force is not enough to survive in the Empire (case in point Darth Vowrawn). Darth Occlus has the wit and cunning to outwit the other Darths and rise to prominence. Darth Nox was just a murderous fanatic and Imperious would have been killed. I also think he'd be a madness sorcerer or hatred assassin. though I highly doubt (cannon wise) that the Inquisitor would be use a double-bladed lightsaber.
  6. Exp. says 200% server-wide increase. I am assuming this apply to all exp (leveling, renown, valor, etc). I used a minor valor boost (25% valor exp boost) along with a Token of Valor (10k valor) and I received 15,000 valor; that's 50% increase, which makes no sense. My 25% boost would give me an additional 2,500 valor make the total valor gained equals to 12,500. So the event basically added an extra 25% boost taking it to 15,000. I should have gotten 22,500 valor (225% boost). What am I missing?
  7. two words, the first one starts with "B" and the last one starts with "S" This feels like no jab. no job. What are you doing Bioware?
  8. The issue is people use their ability strategically / situationally. So, you cannot address "ability bloat" in a vacuum. So you cannot front-load effects on one skill. A stun severs a different purpose from a root or a slow or a snare. I might want to slow someone and follow up with a snare. But I wouldn't be able to do that if one skill does all of that at once. You don't stun, root, and slow someone simultaneously, that's plain stupid. So why would you add all those to a singular agility? it still robs players of versatility.
  9. Not much to add since I'm not a Sentinel player. The class seemed more powerful to me, especially with AOE. Watchman felt like a burst spec, and and Concentration's AOE is insane. The issue is you removed force cammo and Transcendence. Not sure jhow to feel about the removal of blade blitz, but now we have no decent set bonus with the removal of force celerity
  10. The OP is correct, the current version on the PTS does NOT represent what was communicated. At this point it is a waste of time and a horrible mistake. What they have on the PTS is a removal of some abilities and turning the Utilities into passives based on a predefine build. That is NOT what was communicated.
  11. Response to Focus Guardian Option A Please answer the following questions: Does this feel like a Jedi Guardian? Please explain why or why not. No, this does not feel like a Jedi Guardian. You have taken away the abilities that make the Class feels like the class. If you want to reduce ability bloating then buffing the iconic abilities would be more appropriate rather than taking then away or adding new abilities that makes the iconic ones obsolete. Is there anything that feels missing or out of place in the combat rotation? Well, everything feels out of place. Solo play doesn’t really revolve around a rotation but rather TTK and survivability (at least for me). The removal of Saber Reflect, Enure, and awe makes this class feels like a scoundrel. What are your initial thoughts with the effectiveness of the Jedi Guardian against enemies? It’s difficult to say. It’s not about effectiveness but more about do I like this change…No I don’t. You CANNOT remove Saber Throw and Saber Reflect from the core abilities. I am still upset about the Removal of Disturbance from TK Sage. Do not make the same mistake with Guardian. How are you enjoying or not enjoying this class? I prefer the old set-up. I thought this maneuverability of play-style would simply be an option to play as another disciple (say, Say. A jedi Guardian could play Watchmen Discipline and have those abilities). The core abilities of the Jedi Guardian would remain ( those skill he would have if he never chose a discipline path). Obviously some skill would have to be swapped out for dual wield like Saber Throw with Twin Saber throw. If you have feedback on the different disciplines and ability paths, please note your feedback accordingly so we can track it. I chose Focus Guardian Option A. I have no idea why you removed dispatch and there is zero crowd control.
  12. I look at the value we got versus the value we are getting, and what we are getting is significantly less that what we got pre Rise of the Hutt kartel. If you just came back then you have no basis on which to agree or disagree on content deployment logistics. The issue is not about whether a non-force user can kill a force user. I never said that. The issue is about class synergy with story progression. Which non-force user did Tenebrae posses? Dark Lords of the Sith usually posses force users when they used this technique, and Tenebrae had history of grooming powerful force users to possess. Anyways the point is there is no real reason to subscribe beyond subbing for an expac then cancelling that sub until the next expac comes along.
  13. I do not feel there is convincing justification for people to subscribe to SWTOR. The MMO has morphed in to a single-player game, with one main storyline (with some variations depending on your main class); this is totally different from the 8 unique class stories that we started out with which made the story progression meaningful and immersive for each character that we played. Basically Unless you are playing a force user then the story don't really fit your character much. Additionally, there is significant downtime between new content. We barely have any decent new worlds, there are no planetary stories, and some of the story has missing connections. The Inquisitor Perhaps on the Empire side the Inquisitor makes the most sense for the story from Shadow of Revan up to Dark Descent. He got his past holdings back (if he joined the Empire). But every scene since then he is on Odessen. The Empire is bigger than the Aliance. Why would he take over from Anathel (being back on the Dark council) and run things from Odessen with no one in the Empire overseeing things there? And Wouldn't it make sense to stay on Dromund Kaas to let his subjects know he is in charge and leave Lana to run Odessen? Then there is no replacement for Theron, Koth, Senya, Arcann, SCORPIO. Baywon's replacement is just there, no interaction with the new military leader to this day. Theron should have been replaced, he was an advisor to the alliance Commander. If you killed him, that's it, he's just written out of scenes and who killed him don't get those conversations. Lana is the only advisor now. How does that makes sense? Koth, Senya and SCORPIO were apart of the "advisory team" why weren't they replaced? Then you have that foolishness on Mek Sha with Torian or Shae. First of all, neither of them were on the shuttle with you to Mek Sha so IDK why you have a line dedicated to them there. How did that fit in the story? They just magically appeared on Mek Sha when you are about to Speak to the Dar'manda? It's a poor attempt at creating some story to make the Bounty Hunter class feels included. Alliance Recruits We got these zillions of companions that are useless to us. They have no role in the story and are just there taking up space. The issue is BW leave too many possibilities to player choice which in term screw up how they can write stories. They should have instituted 5 main characters in the storyline so that content writing would be seamless. Why was Theron on Voss (in Wrath and Ruin) instead of the Gormack dude or Seargeant Rusk? Or even Ranos or Hexid. Why was Lana on Iokath, instead of Kaliyo, Vette, Vera, Choza, the Selonian, Nico Okarr or any of the other companions who could have been deployed for a mission like that. Lana is not expendable so sending her on a scouting mission doesn't make any sense. Why didn't they put Jasesa and Xalex on the Darth Council or some strategic position in the Empire? instead othing about them changed really, they still stupid. The only companion that made sense and showed growth was Kira. Why did we get Praxton Rall? Shouldn't we have sent him or Nico to Balmorra instead of Leaving things up to Zenith? Alliance Advisory Members Lana, Theron, Koth, Senya, Vette, SCORPIO, Hylo and Gault (Cant remember his name) were the most recurring members on strategic missions briefs. 75% of them has a kill option. Which means other companions should have been introduced in the main story line who would replace their dialogue if they were killed. As it stands right now only Lana and Hylo are advising the Commander. Shae is only seen when things involve the Mandos. Theron should have been replaced by Reina Temple. I think she joined the alliance at the end of Copera for everyone regardless of choices (?) She is slightly force sensitive and is just as capable as Theron. Koth should have been replaced by Shae Vizla, she is apart of the alliance and not just her mandos. Vette Should have been replaced actively by Nico Okarr. SCORPIO should have bene replaced by ZO-OM. Senya should have been replaced by Hexid or Ranus - they are not as powerful but they are the most powerful below Lana, and they have combat experience fighting the Knights of Zakuul. Obviously this is not prescriptive. I am merely pointing out how shoddy the story contruction is. The whole story as is could have still been split up to giv unique portions to eahc class. I mean thats what happened in the vanilla class story, each class played some role in the on-gonig war between the Empire and Republic. Valkorian has never possessed a non-force user before so how tf he possessed the smuggler, trooper, Bounty Hunter or Imperial Agent? He is a racist Sith Purblood who have only possed Humans or Other Sith Purbloods. Even all his servants are Pureblood Siths. The Voss mystic was the Exception, and I think it was a means to get Sel Mekor's power (Which failed). CHOICES There should have been no option to kill Acina on Iokath, she should have been the Only otion for players to interact with as Empress going forward. her death no Iokath made no Sense. Iokath is where Anathel should have bene introduced. He was useless to the whole story of the Inquisitor, merely a seat holder who got killed to make some variation in choices for players. Why didn't they use Pyron to orchestrate the murder of the Inquisitor's replacement? In Echoes of Oblivion Theron (if not killed) Disobeyed you again....like what the hell? And somehow T-7 is out there in the Galaxy doing stuff by himself? Not even R2-D2 was allowed such latitude without a companion ( and it wasn't on mission critical tasks). Dark Descent Why didn't they use Telos Drellik? He was a part of the Reclamation Service, and whether you recruited him or not he would still be a part of the Empire. He should have been at the helm of this Dantooine Expedition. Instead they had Rivik do all the heavy lifting (which is outside his character) and then they introduced a New Guy... Krovos had time to leave the war and accompany you to Dantooine? Like seriously? How does that make sense? it's not like you FOUND Malgus! Rivik and Drellik would have been enough. And then Leeha Nariz sounded like a Lunatic? She is a Jedi Master Now. She came back from the Dark Side. So why she sounded so DERANGED? She shouldn't have been the one they used. Master Gend would have been a better character to use. I don't recall him dying anywhere in the story. I just feel that the writers have back themselves into several corners, and in trying to create a single-player storyline for eight different classes just means some classes will not fit in the story well. One possible solution could be to introduction custom story choice which alerts players to which choice will make sense to the "off classes" (non-force users). For example, if I am playing smuggler, I will get the same choices as everyone else but on my character, whenever there is a conversation dialogue that is more specific to the smuggler, then the choices would show which one is more in syc with the smuggler class.
  14. The PC was custom built, power management was considered, and I consulted with the people who assembled it. The PSU is 550 W which is more than sufficient to power the PC as built. I am aware that there are better versions of GPU, I am not concerned with what's better, I am concerned with what is the cheapest GPU that will give value for money in getting the gaming experience that I want : 1440p gaming experience on a 144hz monitor. Money is the limiting factor, hence, my posting this thread.
