I took my sniper into yolo. I exploded inside 3 GCDs with all my defensives, stim and medpack popped. I wonder why snipers are the least played PvP class and the lowest ranked PvP class...oh yeah, they're garbage in yolo and group doesn't pop unless you prearrange it. They're prtty fun in regs though...so that's something?

Good GMs are fairly hands off, down for a joke and delegate properly. My imperial GM does this well, all reprimands and important stuff is officer chat or /w, helps people out, answers questions but doesn't interfere with how they play and only steps in on gchat arguements if things get really out of hand. Bad GMs are exactly like you describe it. I recently had such an experience with a bad GM, where I talked over him once in TS and he gkicked me (while I was offline as well, didn't even tell me over TS or do it while I was on, classy)., he kicked another guild member in the 5 days I was there because she had to go calm her crying kid down in the middle of a story mode ravagers. No wonder his guild has at best 6 active members in the middle of the day. However, in general, I would say most of the larger guilds and more established guilds are quite well managed.

Replace guard on dps with "intercept". Intercept 50% of a friendly target's incoming damage for a short time (10 seconds), however due to not being skilled at defense this results in you being sundered and dazed leaving you with 25% lower incoming healing and 20% lower accuracy for 40 seconds. Cooldown 2 minutes.

If merc or operative offheals were much good then they're be used more. As it is merc offhealing is terrible and they usually need the CD for when they inevitably get jumped. Operative offhealing can help, but the total lack of any burst reduces it's likelihood of being used except at the start of the match. If everyone is at 80-90% HP people tend to think "things are ok, I'll keep dpsing" however when one guy is dropping very rapidly to 10-20% HP they aren't gonna think "I'll save his life with Kolto Probe!"
