  1. Slavor, I've got to say, reading your posts on ideas to tweak our class is absolutely amazing. The amount of thought and consideration you put into your ideas clearly shows how much you love the class, and the way you present them makes them exceptionally easy to understand. I honestly wish I had a modicum of your penchant for analysis, creativity, and eloquent prose (OK, maybe that's a little over-wordy, but my point still stands: your ideas are awesome, and your communication of them is even better!)
  2. That would directly affect burst, though, even by your own statement. By allowing us to use recklessness/force potency more often, you would allow us to burst more often. Therefore, increasing our total burst. This would be especially true if they left the -30s from the CD when exiting combat. It could allow for us to have charges up all the time.
  3. There's no need to take any accuracy in PvP. So your values would be 90% Melee & 100% Force
  4. Exactly. DF is more akin to Hemorrhaging Blast for a Lethality/Dirty Fighting Sniper/Gunslinger, than it is to Orbital. Yes, it is an AOE, and HB is single target, but their intended purpose is the same. DF & OS are really only similar by the fact that they're both AOE abilities. OS is a "set and forget" whereas DF only damages on activation. I understand the concern, but I think you're over analyzing the statement you presented.
  5. Whether or not you actually have dyslexia is irrelevant to Evo's point. The extremely poor grammar used in your post made it difficult to read. Which, for me, meant that regardless of the relevance or merits of your opinions, I was inclined to not agree with you based solely on your inability to properly communicate your ideas. Now, to actually address your thoughts. If you're using Saber Strike that much, there is a mistake in your rotation/priority sequence. Yes, we do use our auto-attack quite a bit more than some other classes. However, I don't believe increasing its damage would really have that much of an effect. Looking at Evo's best Infil parse on Torparse, the damage from Saber Strike is only 3.12% of the total. This is why the Devs' attempted to buff CS/VS (which constitues 22.23% of the same parse) instead. Unfortunately, as already mentioned, this didn't work. Buffing a lower damage ability, whose damage constitutes far less of our overall damage envelope, is not worth the time or effort. Evo's concern regarding PvP is valid, and could be possible, yet difficult, to achieve (see the changes to the Force Sweep/Smash buffing talents). He's already given his opinions in multiple posts on how PvE DPS could be achieved with little-to-no impact on PvP. While I appreciate your suggestion, and contribution to the discussion, even after looking at what you are proposing, I'm inclined to disagree with you.
  6. It's a great tool for escaping, guarding, and returning to help defend nodes in most WZs. It's also great for getting back to the ball spawn point, or getting behind the defense in Huttball. I like the ability, and yes, wish it had more usefulness in PvE (though I do use it some encounters). Although I do wish it had a "Range to Target" feature that tells you exactly how far away from its placement you are.
  7. The schedule hasn't changed, has it? We're still due to submit on April 25th, correct?
  8. Parsec and Torparse use different log entries to mark the end of a parse. The method Torparse uses cuts out the damage from your last attack, whereas Parsec's includes it. I believe (but don't quote me on it) that Torparse uses "Exit Combat" which is logged before the damage from the last attack. Check the actual combat log, and you'll be able to see what I mean
  9. I think you did an awesome job. It's one of the easiest posts to follow so far, and has a lot of pretty cool ideas.
  10. Not quite, Evolixe. I thought the same thing at first, though. The first point in to the skill gives a 10s rate limit. The 2nd point grants a 5s rate limit, and the 3rd point grants a 0s rate limit (removing it).
  11. It's a little old, but what the hell: Kanamé <Dead on Arrival> 3466.58 (TTK = 4m 47.256s) Balance Shadow (I believe it was 8/2/36) 1M HP Dummy
  12. Hi Eric, Thank you for letting us know on both the forums and on twitter that this maintenance will be happening. However, an in-game message would have been greatly appreciated as well. Hopefully, you're able to resolve these issues quickly. Thanks for your help in getting these addressed on a Saturday!
