  1. I've only attempted two of them so far. Battle for illum and the old level 16-20 one (one with the asteroids and walkway). I didn't attempt any till I was 65. Was enjoying the new story to much. I decided I wanted to go as DPS this time. Been playing on and off as a healer since release and tired of it. First one was the level 16-20 flashpoint. What a shocker, I got a group of all DPS. Not knowing what I was getting into. I respected to healing for the first run just to get back into group play. The whole group was thankful for me doing so. I never remember the tacticals in SOR having enemies hit hard at all. I was so surprised. It felt like it hadn't been tuned to actually be a tactical. Felt like I was healing a normal flashpoint without a tank. The mobs hit hard, but the bosses weren't difficult. Second run was Battle of Illum. Got a full group of DPS again. After my first experience, I respeced into healing again. Almost wiped so many times, cause the group kept pulling two different sets of mobs at once. We never wiped expect for one death ( party member decided to run off and fight a group by himself in the completely wrong direction). Was a stressful run. I doubt I will do anymore after that. I feel sorry for anyone who gets a full group of DPS. No one thinks about using CC or communicate, so I can see people wiping on trash so much. It can only make players scared of tanking these without a healer, which isn't good.
  2. Customisation is the most important thing to me in this game. I usually save up credits to buy armour. Not so much for myself, but for my companions. It's sort of an addiction getting the perfect costume right which suits my companion. To not be able to do this with the new companions, they will never feel like they are a part of my crew and more like a guest appearance who will just disappear after I finish a quest. We want to get attached to our new members, like the other old companions are to us. Will make the story that much more engaging if we had a major decision in the story in the future if we have to decide which member lives or dies. Guess who I'll choose? The ones I'm attached too. Not the guest appearance members. Plain stupid move. I seriously can't believe how you think this is a good idea. You would make way more money allowing them to be customised to how we want them. This is a major step backwards. Customisation is so important to me in this game, that if this isn't changed in a month, I'll think I'll cancel the game and never return. My other friends who I have been playing the game with for 2 years, feel the exact same way. Please fix this.
  3. To me it's gear. I cannot stand the gear I have on my smuggler or shadow. I look at the empire players everyday and i'm always jealous of the way they look. We need some better sets please.
  4. Could we please have the female pilot's armour who you talk to at the end of Kaon Under Seige inside the flashpoint please. This armour really looks like it would be great for a smuggler. Sorry I don't have a picture of it to show anyone.
  5. I would love this. I hope they can add this in. I can't stand having most of my moves a different colour than the crystal i put into my blaster.
  6. I hope Bioware reconsidering the restriction on it. This move is probably the coolest move we have.
  7. I'm a twilek. I can't even wear hoods. Never knew that I was restricted with race until mid teens. I recently got the chest piece with the neck collar. This has to be designed for female characters. I would reroll a different class, but this class is my favorite by far. Bioware. Please rethink the consular apparence. It is horrible to say the least. Well it is to me. I'm sure there are players who love the look though. Maybe put in some male inspired gear or something. My friends can't stop making fun of my appearence. Did they forget that players who play consulars, play male as well?
  8. I think I remember Bioware saying that there will be alot of instancing to begin with, especially on the starter planets for the first couple of months. I just hit 22 and trying to level at a slow pace. I did notice on Nar Shadaa that I really didn't see many people around the crew skill trainers and vendors much. Maybe 5-6 people, but my game tells me there is around 80-141 people in the same instance as much during different times. I don't expect many people to be just hanging out in locations straight away. It seems everyone is enjoying the stories of the missions they have and concerntrating on that more than anything. I do notice a fair amount of people on the Republic Fleet though. I ussually see around 25-50 people at peak times. Alot of people could be starting new characters, getting them off their first starter planet and starting a new character again to see which their favourite one is. But I do think the instances need a higher level cap. Maybe double if the game can handle it.
  9. I just got a new chest piece. Orange. It has a neck collar. I look like a female. All I need is some makeup and I could pass as a drag queen. Plus the tiara headpiece. My friends were crying in laughter for 10 minutes when they seen me. This is embarrassing. Bioware, please remake all of the Jedi consular gear. This isn't April fools is it?
  10. I have to 100% agree on everything you said. I was in beta when they had the hoods available to Twi'leks and I didn't mind at all that the Lekku's clipped through the hood. I actually liked the look of it. I didn't play beta for the last 6 weeks due to work, so never knew that they changed it. Personally I would rather had a clipped hood than nothing at all. I do not feel like a Jedi at all when I see everyone else running around with cool looking hoods and actually look like Jedi. Due to the hood being disabled on Twi'leks, it looks more like a completely dress than it does a robe. It's terrible. I had a look at all the PvP gear which I'm aiming for at 50 and it doesn't look very good without the hood. The gear is designed with the hood in mind. Right now, I would re roll but I really don't feel like playing through 20 levels because I've done it quite a few times in beta
  11. Appreciate this information. Haven't found an upgrade since i've had this companion. Thankyou so much. I'll check this out tonight when I get home from work.
  12. I just upgraded to the Deluxe Digital Edition from the Standard edition for the extra $20.00 I'm happy that I received a nice epic speeder, a couple of toys to use from time to time. I mainly wanted it for the speeder. I went to the VIP lounge to see if I could buy something and honestly, It is a little disappointing to only see 1 item available to me (The awesome looking speeder for 1.5 million credits). I wasn't expecting to get the same as the Collectors Edition, but a few items would be nice. Maybe they will put some more items into it over time, but I doubt it.
  13. I would appreciate it to be able to have an option to turn off xp gain. That way I do not out level a planet and make the planet trivial.
  14. From what I understand, nothing is in the works for a name change just yet. It might be awhile before this happens. But I'm not working for Bioware, so I could be completely wrong.
  15. I am loving the class. Loved it in beta too. I know this might sound silly to say but don't be afraid to take some of the skills off the bars if you feel they are useless to you right now. You can always put them back on the bars if needed. Also binding some of your key skills like stealth or project to a key / mouse button can save a lot of space also. Have a go at some key bindings and try it out. You can always revert it back if needed. If you haven't done key bindings before. Maybe start with one or two abilities to bind, get used to using those major skills, then add more later. I've just started to key bind for the first time. It helps a lot with space on your action bars.
