  1. I'm sure there is some reason why rakata stims, adrenals and medpacs are BoP rather than Bind to Legacy, so instead of complaining I'm just going to ask what that reason is. Why can't I share such useful items with other members of my legacy?
  2. I'm really only positive that that's the case in this game.
  3. The only strange thing now is that I'm getting about the same framerate on low as on high.
  4. I opened the NVidia panel and started messing around with some of the features and got it running much smoother. I'm not running on high and averaging around 45 FPS although sometimes it drops tot he 20's. on low-medium I'm getting around 60. Is there anything specific in the features I could try to get it to run even better? Or is it all about experimenting because it varies from system to system? Thanks for the help thus far.
  5. Also, maybe turning on V-sync would help? As long as I'm asking, what exactly is V-sync and anti-aliasing?
  6. Just tried SP3 and it made it worse. I'll try the other two. Thanks.
  7. I right clicked on the desktop icon and did just that. Was that client or launcher? and how do I do the other one?
  8. I'm on windows 7, but could XP comp mode help? If so, how do i put it in this setting?
  9. is there anything you can suggest to optimize my graphics? again, 35fps on average on low settings. I feel like I should be getting better than that.
  10. Hi all. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer me, and please mind my knowledge of computers is very limited. I've been running swtor on my august of 2011 alienware m14x laptop. i5 2.3GHz, 6gb of installed physical ram (3.83 available), and a 1.5gb Nvidia GeForce GT 555. I typically run the game on low except with texture anis. on medium and get a framerate that hangs between 30-50 FPS. I am wondering if this sounds about right or if my PC should be able to run the game faster on higher settings, because my specs significantly exceed the minimum requirements and are above the recommended requirements, but i still run on low. Thanks again.
  11. There was no 3 hours of scanning to get HK-47. That's how it's different
  12. In KoToR 2 you collected the parts as you went along with the game. For the record, 3 hours scanning on taris and nothing. Yes, I am certainly whining, but I think it's pretty justified.
  13. the theoretika was sweet. I think the whole questline should be more like that and less like looking for a needle in a haystack
  14. I don't think I should end up feeling suicidal because of a recreational videogame. I should feel quite the opposite, really. It sucks because the rest of the game is phenomenal and now I'm endorsing something that makes me suicidal.
  15. I'll check out the site, thanks. I've been scavenging the reported coordinates but on taris I'm struggling to reach [x:90, y:-100]
