  1. I’m a genius I know, but my suggestion can’t be that hard to understand. NONE of the scenarios which has been described can happen, NONE. If you chose to be a PVE player you can’t in a million years be engaged in open world PVP by anyone, nor by your self. (Without a 5 min activation time as I used as an example) The only difference you will experience are more players and time to time ONLY see others engaged in PVP. Again, you can’t be attacked and you can’t be engaged in any open world PVP. To be clear. A PVP flagged player appears as a PVE player for you. If you chose to be a PVP player, well congratulations. You will experience much more players to do group content with such as FPs and OPs. You will see “blue” players with are logged in as PVE. You will not be surprised by a blue player whom by a heartbeat change to PVP flag and attack you when you are at low health fighting this Elite mob. But you might however be attacked by someone logged in as PVP player just as you are used with. We will all experience a server full of life and activities both in PVP and PVE content and activities. Bioware will experience a cost saving by reducing the amount of servers to maintain. I truly believe it’s possible to merge the PVE and PVP community into one and the same server without interference. I will not post anymore in this thread. I have posted my suggestion to Bioware now and for anyone who can't understand this simple suggestion. Sorry. can't and won't help you that.
  2. Merge PVE servers with PVP and get much more populated servers. By default everyone are flagged as PVP but via setting you can chose to be PVE player. For such player everyone on the opposite side is also flagged PVE so that PVP encounters won’t happen by mistake. For those who like to take advantage of being PVE flagged and quickly change to PVP to attack when someone is being low in health or in other disadvantage situations, tough luck. Going from PVE to PVP might have an activation time of maybe 5 min.
  3. Thank you, just what I wanted without knowing it before I've got it
  4. Yeah, as an option to a bank toon. no levels no nothoing. just access to banks and GTN, and twi'lek slaves of course
  5. Hi, My suggestion is as follow: In the preview window, add a button called i.e. catwalk. This would launch a cinematic cut scene where the toon would walk towards us and draw it weapon and fire/wielding before turning around and walk away. That way we could see how the armor etc. really would look like.
  6. I agree, cinematics are what really differs swtor from other mmo's like world of Warcraft which sucks since I miss the story. Even though the quest givers are talking, it is not the same as cinematics and I had no clue why I did collect meat and stuff since I don't read the quests and I didnt hear what the quest givers was mumbleing about.
  7. All my 50 toons lives at Ilum which I think is an beautiful planet together with Hoth. But in real life I would live at Tattooine for sure. I really hate the cold and need to live close to the sun.
  8. Well, at first at lvl 50 when I come to Ilum I couldn't kill anything more or less. I had good gear, all orange with mods I've been able to buy from commendation vendors, rewards and self crafting from skill 400 recipes. I changed my tactics, I don't cc the hard mob anymore. I sent my companion to keep that one busy and I kill the normal mobs my self. That worked and I could begin my questing. Then I bought a new hilt to my light saber, an epic hilt from commendation vendor and things started to die pretty fast now. It was at huge Energy Damage range boost. Still, I think the open world mobs hits to hard still and I would still be stuck at my boss fight in my personal story line without grouping. Perhaps with this hilt I got now I could give the boss some a*s kicking, but I doubt that I would been able to kill him solo and the hilt are not available until after the boss is dead. Anyhow, I quite happy now.
  9. What I'm saying is that some gold elites are impossible while others gold mobs are quite easy. This is in the same area. There are also an example whet I at lvl 50 can't kill an gold elite who are lvl 47. Some times it's quite easy to kill an gold elite and in the same area I could actually be killed quite easy by an silver elite. I have learned that I'm better off to sneak around silver mobs since they are often harder to kill than gold elites. But in my personal story line I should be able to face all kind of bosses, they shall not be impossible if I have the correct level, good gear and know how to play my class. That's the biggest issue for me. Perhaps it's totally different experiences between classes, AC's and specs. But I think it's a problem that BioWare should take a look at. I'm sure they can dig up all my combat logs and see if I'm completely sucks at my class or not. But they should not just recommend me to group up just to be able to finish my class story or to complete solo quests.
  10. I do know how to play my class, and I use the cc I have. I interrupt the bosses spells whenever I can due to cooldowns etc. I can also mention that within an area a gold mob can many time be easy to kill meaning that I have about 50% health left when I'm done. But a silver mob can kill me even though I use all my ohsh*it bubbles etc. so the balance are NOT good.
  11. I have the same experience. I couldn't even kill a boss in my personal story at lvl 50. I have much better gear than normal quest rewards and I've tried all my companions. Two of my companions also have very good gear. I reported this to the customer support and their advice was simply to group to have my class story boss killed. Over all I feel less like a hero and more like a chicken Sith, because I can be killed by normal mobs now even though I'm tank speced. But BioWare think that's completely okay and that we shall group up to be able to play at all. Even on solo quests and our personal story. I loved the game to lvl 40, but after that it became to hard and the hero feeling completely disappeared. I have more examples to bring up, but whats the point. I will group up with a friend later on to deal with a lvl 47 boss. Perhaps it's possible with one lvl 50 player with companion and one lvl 47 player with companion to bring that one down. Again, solo quest boss.
  12. My point of view when it comes to add-ons. Add-ons like Gear Score and DPS meters should never be allowed in the game.. First you need to be invited to a raid, and when add-ons like Gear Score exist it doesn’t matter if you know the tactics and if you would be an excellent member in the raid. High Gear Score becomes the only important component to gain a spot, I have seen in the other game one 4.5k GS out performe a 5.2k GS player. Second, while in the raid, you need to keep the DPS at the very highest, above everyone else even. Otherwise, it will be allot of whining about that. So it becomes more important to make damage than move from the red/green stuff on the floor, and then the raid gets wiped due to that the tank and healer can't keep up with dps getting aggro or taking damage from the green **** they stand in. It would be better to have some kind of statistics window which appears when the boss is down or when the raid has wiped. That statistics should also show how individuals has performed regarding standing in sh*t etc. not only how much DPS individuals has done. For example, following statics could be good to have statisics on: DPS done. Healing recived. (Not over healing received) Healing done. Aggro time. When it comes to add-ons that help with friend’s lists and UI re-customization etc. would be nice to have.
