  1. I don't see the big problem. Like many of pointed out it's 2k for a vaccine for 5+ hours immunity. It's easy to see when people are close to exploding. And it is easy to get away from somebody who is about to explode. Furthermore, when you explode you get 5 DNA samples. You could easily sell these for more than 2k. 83 for a black green crystal. 60 for a pet. 20 for a random companion customization. So really why are people complaining? 2k for a vaccine immunity for a long time, easy to avoid being infected and actually profitable if you let yourself explode.
  2. Ha. Awesome idea. This shall be done.
  3. Completely agree. Haven't played my 34 main for days. Being playing my alt & its really fun to have an actual working companion story lol.
  4. Agreed, I would like an ETA too. I've stopped playing my main (sentinel) & have been focusing on my alt. I really do not want to reroll but I bought swtor for the experience of star wars & Bioware's great stories. Missing out on the Kira romance is a big deal & does affect my enjoyment. Even in a mmo for me the story is the second most important, behind gameplay of course. Warzones, space combat etc are a nice minigame distraction for me.
  5. I've completely stopped played my JK now. Started a new consular while I wait for this to be fixed. Story is one of the main reasons I love this game & I think I will be missing out if I continue. I wish I realised earlier as I am currently in the start of act 2. Hopefully it won't take too long so I would like to get back to my main soon. P.S. I also would be more than happy with a class quest restart.
  6. Is it? I am actually really curious. Its easy to assume US gaming base > EU. But if you look at PS3 base units, EU has 3 million more than US. Sure Swtor is very different to ps3, simply giving an example that US doesn't always have a bigger gaming base than EU. Is there any facts backing up the statement that US base is > than EU base? Fair enough if there is. I also see that it is fair for Bioware to give bias to the bigger # of gamers. However it just seems they are doing whatever ever they can to disrupt US as little as possible & not even considering EU. I'm basing the above on that 1-3am CST would have less players than 3-5pm CET and that 4-10am is the lowest gaming population for US, not for the world.
  7. Fair enough. I was only assuming & I knew I could be wrong. I still wouldn't say 11pm is peak though? However I have no facts what so ever to back that up. If you look over the 6 hours it gives a better picture. 11pm isn't a great time to pull down the servers. Since its 8am in CET, then clearly amount of players in US >> than 8am EU. However would 11pm-1am PST be > than 3-5pm CET? I don't think it would. I would say late afternoon will be more populated than 11pm-1am. However I could be wrong. I'm not really mad, just a little disappointed. EU gets it all the time with Sony, even though EU base > US base. As I am paying a monthly subscription I didn't expect to lose 3-4 hours a week at afternoon. However, this is still a great game & I am looking forward to killing more Sith as my Twi'lek Jedi
  8. Hmm interesting... So you are saying the amount of players on at 1-3am CST is greater than 3-5pm CET? I personally believe that 4am CST seems a little late to start maintenance. 1am-7am CST to me seems like less obstruction than to worldwide players than 4-10 CST. I am basing this on the assumption that, # of players in EU + world at 3-5pm CET(8-10am CST) > # of players in US + world at 1-3am CST.
  9. Do you actually know this? Is there any proof at all? Its easy to say US has a bigger gamer base than EU, however looking at PS3 sales. 16 million EU, 13 million US. Granted ps3 & swtor are very different. I am just giving an example where EU gamers outnumber US gamers. Fair enough is US does actually outnumber EU, they should get a better time. However do US really need 1-3am gaming time? Surely by starting maintenance at 1am on a monday or even 12am, there would be much less obstruction than 1/2-4pm in UK or 2/3-5pm in EU.
  10. That's fair enough. However is there actual figures that state america>Europe for subscriptions? Its like when Sony prefers US over EU, even though PS3 base is bigger in EU. Makes no sense to me. Lastly, 12-3am is peak time in America? Surely peak time is around 6-11pm? It just seems like Bioware picked 4am-10am to be least obstructive to US & didn't really consider EU.
  11. signed. Considering I am paying a monthly fee for this game, I believe I have a right to complain when the maintenance is 10am-4pm on a national holiday. For more reference, in Aus its 8pm. Why should the rest of the world suffer for just one country. I'm sick & tired of the US bias in gaming. For example, number of ps3 sold in Europe > in US. Yet US is the priority, not sure I understand that. I am sure (worldwide - us) sales >> us sales for Swtor.
  12. I'm focus, level 27 & I very much enjoy it. I love force stasis --> sweep. The extra 100% dmg with singularity is great. I love zealous leap too, I'm pretty new to MMOs & aren't too great with them. I'm terrible at moving & fighting at the same time so the second leap is great. Master strike being uninterruptible is good - I hope that also means when you start a master strike & the target moves away, the end dmg still hits them. I barely ever use slash - only when I use zen is the time I use slash. Blade storm & leap hit higher so I tend to use them instead. Lastly, the 10% heal with resolute is really nice. It has saved me many times. I would be tempted to try out watchman but unsure how much it costs after the first respec.
  13. At first I considered that maybe some classes were OP. But then I realised that the most likely answer actually as that I am terrible at PvP. I'm a level 27 Jedi Sentinel, I've probably tried 10 pvp matches & only won once. That win was the only time everybody worked together. I'm new to MMO (my first one - apart from free play & I never did PvP then) so my lack of experience is showing. Not sure what I am doing wrong but I die a lot & my team always seems to fall apart after a promising start. I usually do only about 30-40k damage. Which is actually about average, from what I have saw in my matches, for Jedi Knights. Maybe I keep getting put on teams with people who are new like me . I seem to do well 1v1 against Bounty hunters & warriors. I just assume that my play style allows inquisitors to easily beat me, or maybe that I never ever see them alone could be a big factor lol It can be frustrating when you lose 10 in a row & it is so easy to pass the other team as OP. I just need to get some more experience with MMO & maybe start dueling some friends. That could help in 1v1 situations - which are rare.
  14. Redeemed code on 2nd December. Just got my early access email at 19:15 15/12
