  1. On "story" level not a single boss was a problem for my merc. But right now, in the last chapter, when you fight in your "memory lane" without a healing companion, it's an issue. Vaylin hits like a tank, and the only way to heal myself are from running through those green thingies that travel around. Problem is, that you can't stun break Vaylin stuns, and when she hits you with "siphon" or that skill that slams you to the ground several times, you are basically dead, because those healing things spawn too slow. You don't even have a chace to use any channeled skils during fight, as you have to be on constant move, so the fight takes ages, because you have to wait for countdown of instant skills to hit her. 4 times got her to 34% and I gave up. It's just most annoying fight I've seen... and it's strange, because when I was doing this with my tank, he didn't have to run through green things, he was just healed by them from distance. I can't even think, how this will look on my sniper, who has to channel his attacks.
  2. So, came back after few months of hiatus to see how the KotET goes. The story IMO is better than KotFE - though I'm only on chapter 3. At least my choices do matter, and I can kill some old NPCs I wanted to. So far I do see, that as KotFE was designed for people going lightside, this expansion is designed for the more dark-side attuned people. Though, it should go full grimdark What I don't like however is quest design. It still sucks balls. 1st chapter and those endless fightings of weak mobs stream or 2nd chapter and those Geoharadan droids that don't let you jump to enemies with their rays. And seriously, whoever invented those mobs that needs to be stomped at way to Shrine of Healingg, because they are shielded, should be forced to listen to Justin Bieber for the rest of his life. Worst mission ever. Combat? Well, if you are lev 65 with decent mobs and play on normal difficulty, then it's even easier than KotFE. The only issue with bossess is, that they have too much health and it takes too long to kill them, especially as their attacks barely hurt you with companion healing. They are just damn boring... lets hope that on veteran, they will have some coll attacks and lots of combat mechanics. Also looks like it has been graphically improved - at least it goes faster and with everything maxed on 1440- and 980 Ti I can get easily over 110 FPS It's decent expansion, but after I run my 3 favourite characters through story, I don't see myself keeping subsribed. There is not much in terms of group content, so maybe if there are many new flashpoints and raids, I can come back. But "paying about 8 euro for expansion" - the monthly sub cost, make it okay for "indie" RPG game.
  3. Doesn't work at Windows 10 - I get complete black screen, and can't open process window to kill the task.
  4. There is something wrong with 5.0. When I try to alt-tab or just simple quit game, computer gets unresponsive and the only way is to hard reboot with reset button. This is kinda irritating, and on same hardware before 5.0 didn't exist. So I believe this is something with KOTET - tried reinstalling game, different graphics settings and such, but it didn't help.
  5. I buy packs rarely - only when cool gear drops in it. I don't need dyes, mounts, materials, whatever. I just want the armour set. Nothing more, nothing less. Last time I did it, it was the great sale, when you offered all the packs - as I wanted XoXaan robes for my new sorceress. Guess what, it was disappointment after disappointment when in whole hypercrate I got so few of that set - was missing belt and hands, which I had to buy on GTN. It's really frustrating, when you just want that item, and can't have it. Oh and having like 12 crates of same Enhanced Assailant lower body is frustrating too. I'd rather you totally resign of the packs idea, and just introduce the mounts and sets directly from Cartel Market. Of course, you could keep the dyes/mats/whatever in smaller, cheaper packs. But right now, if I do buy pack, I won't open it - I'll sell it for credits and buy the set I want directly from cartel market.
  6. I've 4790K, 8GB RAM 1600mhz and 980 T, the biggest issues I have are on Yavin 4. No way, with everything maxed, I can get 60 FPS in 1440p. It seriously drops then. Looks like ToR runs worse for me than Witcher 3 on Ultra
  7. Have to say, Witcher 3 spoiled me, regarding choices and their influences. The numer of possibilities, which have influence over world status and Geralt's personal status was amazing - not even in Blood Baron questline, but in secondary quests. I thought Tor would offer same way, but I guess it's not possible in MMO, though I regret that you can't even recreate it.
  8. Strange issue with the game. Takes ages to load the character selection screen, than takes next ages to load textures for my Progenitor toons. I've checked net speed - everything is fine, was playing the game perfectly yesterday, so nothing with installation. Anyone else with such problem?
  9. No problems so far - went back to Makeb for dailies/HCs - in 208 gear and healing companion, my jugg was cutting through everything, including +2 HCs - same on Oricon, Czerka base or Yavin. Absolutely not a single issue with any mob. Actually, even with synced level the effects of high influence and good gear was making those dailies run faster than before 4.0.
  10. Aye... Cademinu without a healer is hard - at least bossess are beatable, but the road to 1st boss is a nightmare. There were some low level guys and me on my 65 jugg. Thse packs of few silver, and gold were done in two rounds - got few of tchem, wipe then come back. After the droid and his master, it went easier, but those hounds without heals are evil. The simple solution would be to add few health terminals, or let us get the healing companion.
  11. Who chose those companions? Ship droid before anyone, who could be considered spouse? Pierce as 1st companion for Warrior? Are they kidding me. Where is Vette and Jaessa? Why Drelik and Xalek for Inquisitor and not Khem Val? At least I hope that all of those on the list will be killable. Because those on the list were usually the most worthless companions for the classess. Very bad choices from my SW point of view.
  12. On chapter VII, so far none of my favourite companions didn't show up. I don't want Lana or that black guy. I want my Jaessa and possibly Vette. But the only two companions I met on Asylum were none of my old crew (luckily I was able to kill one of them). It's a pity, that I can't form back my party, especially when you wrote in blog, that I'll be able to use companion, whom I want and like most. I believe, that first companion you can recruit should be the character's "spouse", and not the companions I've no feelings about. Give me my Jaessa back!
  13. So I spent a fortune to RE enhancements to get purple items on my Artificer, another fortune was lost on getting my Cybertech to learn all the purple mods/armorings from lev 10 to 60. Now, BW takes all my achievements away without any compensation. It would be better, if we have all the purple/blue receipes on our crafters, and they are taken from us, we would get legacy-binded tokens, that we could send to ur legacy crafters that would be able to use those receipes. Otherwise, there is no point in learing new receipes, because BW can take them out again once more, wasting years of crafting and millions of credits.
  14. THis bug has been in game since release... if you wear cape and ride fast elevator, it's so fast, that cape makes you look like flying. And if you are twi'lek, it looks like your lekkus are empty and filled with air, as they are also flying high IMaybe fix could be in order?
  15. For me it would be less boring, than doing few HM FPs and two raids for a year, to gear up... and then repeat the process. Right now, I'm just resubbing with content update - but not HM versions of old content, but really new stuff, checking it out, and going away. I wish BW would do as Squeenix is doing, and HM dungeons having completely different bossess, mechanics and enemies than the story mode versions, and they tie them nicely to the story. Like keeps being invaded by demons, or after the players cleared 1st wave of invaders, now knights try to reconquer their fortress. I miss those things here... that's why I'll be back at 3,2 or later, as this game has nothing really to do, if you are not a hardcore raider and don't want to repeat same OPS every week.
