  1. "Only a few people are any good at this important thing called pvp and I happen to be one of them." It's not just a game anymore, NEAT!
  2. The only time my GS does well is when I'm left alone and even then I usually get out damaged by sorcs/mercs in wz's. A GS is the easiest class to torment in a wz. They either have to stay mobile which usually cuts down signifigantly on dps or they use hunker and have to try to sit in one spot, it's awesome for the GS either way.
  3. Biggest problem is that most people do not actually look at the forum, they are too busy playing the game and then they get 50 and make this discovery the hard way. I'll destroy a new 50, bring um on if they are so competitive with 3 pieces of centurion gear. My gs is not the best 1v1 class by any means but a fresh 50? NOM NOM
  4. Whatever it is it is probably not going to involve a gunslinger/sniper but it will most assuredly include a sorc/sage.
  5. Cheapshot for up close, we get headshot which is a ranged one later.
  6. The Real Option Lies Loosely around the fact that I took the time and used the energy to get a dot off on someone to have it poof cause I died, the bleed should poof? Maybe dot heals should poof and for that matter any damage I did before dying should be replaced on each character I damaged. NEAT
  7. Ah well, it all makes sense then.
  8. It seems that with the spammable abilities we get an interrupt like other classes get would totally OP a commando anyway, I don't see why at least vanguards shouldn't get one in the tanking tree or something though. Just from what I have seen so far, my commando is only 20 but I was rocking the dmg in wz's at 12 and I know if I had an interrupt healers etc would have more than a hard time all at once. As it seems now a healer is the hardest to take down but this is not supposed to be the "I win" class...none of them are supposed to be I don't imagine.
  9. I still don't get it, it sounds as if you are saying since you are speeding up the cast time you have to use hammer shots in between shots? I assumed if you could get your cast time down to 1.0 (just an example time) on grav rounds that meant you could burst out a grav round every second. Perhaps this wouldn't be good for pve because you would run out of ammo faster but it seems viable for pvp burst dmg maybe? Even if you never got a crit this sounds like an average of 1/3 more damage output or the same damage in 2/3 of the normal time? What am I missing here? I can see ppl prefering a crit/surge build but simply cranking out a reliable number not based off crit "chance" seems viable to me.
  10. I would have assumed alacrity would only be for getting off attacks faster so you can move on to the next attack, Maybe I'm wrong but that doesn't sound so bad to cut down cast times. Seems like you might run out of ammo faster but you got off the same amount of attacks that would have taken longer anyway? I don't get the negativity towards alacrity for a class with so many cast time skills. Please explain in some detail why it is so bad.
  11. I actually like how my char reloads and when you take off he even drops an empty clip on the ground. Littering.
  12. New people suck because they didn't or didn't realize they needed to save up these "bags". Neat response! I didn't realize how important the gear was either, means I suck, neat!
  13. I seem to recall grinding mostly pve to lvl to 50 to pvp. Blowing all my best dmg cd's on someone with gear and watching their health drop a whole 10% (lol) to have them turn around and swat me down in a few hits was very disenchanting. Rank 59 now with full champ I'm doing much much better and I'm a clicker that walks back and forward (weird and noobish huh) but If I didn't really like player vs player I would have quit already. Ranked matches will be more fun, I don't like the idea of x-server matches though. This idea that clickers are by default "bad players" has been debunked already and by more and better people than myself, deal with it.
  14. lvling is harder period. I went to alderaan at the minimum lvl discovered I was going to die many many times and went back to tat and got to 31 and used my synthweaving to maximize my gear with the highest blue and purple gear I could make. This made alderaan much more tolerable. I would venture to say it is more difficult lvling than my gunslinger was and on alderaan was where my gunslinger also began running into trouble but it was not quite as bad and I was able to complete it with green whatever I had looted gear on the gunslinger. My Vanguard just mowed through lvling, I think that class could do it naked but I think it helped greatly that the vanguard had a healer companion early. Sent is quite fun to play though much more so than the vanguard certainly and at least on par with the gunslinger as far as "fun". I have noticed in wz's I destroy more classes 1v1 than my gunslinger can however. I don't really fear any specific classes on the sent so far like I did and still do on my gunslinger. I chose to play a sent because this happens to be the class my gunslinger has the easiest time defeating 1v1 and I was curious as to how they play. After having played a gunslinger however I'm doing relatively well vs snipers/gunslinger in wz's of course because I know what they are going to do why and how. I guess my only real gripe with sent is the lvling, it's bad. It's tedious and slow. The people who want to say this class is better because they have to use many skills to make up for 1 or 2 skills that another class can use to the same effect are delusional.
