  1. I know, but that doesnt help people leveling with their friends that end up 10+ levels apart. It also opens up those FPs to be redone with benefits.
  2. How would it ruin progression? You dont get to go into a FP before the designed level. You would just be able to revisit old FPs, but with an appropriate level of challenge. The rewards would just have to come from quests as opposed to loot drops. Loot at the level of the FP could still drop off bosses, but exp could be awarded for the completion of the FP, similar to warzones. It would also keep FPs enjoyable as expansions come out. Wider variety of FPs to go through in addition to whatever new FPs they put out. And lets be real. Pre-50, what progression?
  3. Yeah, I guess there will always be those people. I think it may enhance community tho, and give all those complainers about leveling alts one more way to make it to 50 without ever doing non-class specific story quests.
  4. I like the idea that, pre-50, if I enter a warzone I am somewhat equal to everyone else. Moreso just because I get to go to warzones with my friends who arent even close to my level. I would like to see the same thing applied to flashpoints. You would still need to be the minimum level for that flashpoint, so level 10s cant go into level 30 fps, but you could go back to previous FPs with friends at that FP's level or higher and everyone would have lvl 50 hps and dmg. The only difference would be the warzone differences of missing skills and skill tree buffs. The loot would probably have to stay the same, but it would open up the option for daily quests for pre-50's to redo old flashpoints and loot or level appropriate commondations could be awarded through those daily quests. It would also make it easier for people to level through flashpoints since people would be more open to going through old FPs again with you.

  6. i would prefer more class specific quests as opposed to the class quests giving more exp, since there are so few.
  7. I posted this in another forum, but I guess it belongs here. (other post scrolled off into obscurity 3 minutes after I posted it) Am I the only one that would like to have seen (or see in the future) an actual group story progression path that takes you from 1-50 through a series of heroic +2 quest chains? I know we get 3-6 +2 or +4 heroic quests per planet (not really connected to an actual quest chain), but it isnt nearly enough to actually finish a planet with class and heroic quests alone. It would also be a seemless way to integrate the flashpoints into the leveling process, as opposed to the way it is now where you just happen upon quest givers randomly (lvl 10 FP aside). This would actually encourage grouping, as well as giving alternate pve paths to 50. I like alts. I want to see all 4 classes per faction, but I would love the opportunity to mix up the content a bit on my 4 trips instead of going through the same side quests 4 times. I am on my 2nd trip through now and I am already space barring more than I thought I would. It would also provide a somewhat quicker (i know its already quick) way to level your alts to 50 if you have a higher level friend. The final chain turn-in on a planet could have a piece of really nice gear...or maybe introduce a new badge and have vendor gear specific to those badges?

  9. Is it just me, or does time start moving slower the closer you get to your expected invite wave? Or maybe its the future and I am dying and right now I am just at that point of my life flashing before my eyes... I dunno...
  10. I'm not sure if that post is in favor of my idea or not, but I will assume in favor! Just to clarify tho, my post is just about operations. I think they may already do that with flashpoints each expansion since they already started doing it. I would just like them to do it with the non-storyline critical operations as well. I also like the idea of going through an old operation with someone new and watching them experience it for the first time.
  11. That is an option too. I just want to be able to try a raid down the road that I missed and be able to find other max level people who want to do it because there is a benefit other than seeing the story (which I enjoy as well). If you update the challenge, loot, etc., people will do content again. Especially if its loot equal to the starter tier of whatever expansion you are in. It doesnt have to be the best loot available. Especially with lockouts and such. In my scenerio, you hit max level...you do the new operation/s...then if you still need gear to be able to take on the next tier of operations, you can go back and redo an old, upgraded operation from a previous expansion, since it will have similar tier gear to the current expansion's first round of operations, as well as a similar challenge. The only difference is having some group members that know the fights better because they did them in their original expansion.
  12. Er... yeah...I ment you could give them the names after you saw their reaction...totally...
  13. Lets say you get early access before your friend, and you have played MMOs with them before, so you know which names they use. Would it be the gamer equivalent to sleeping with your friend's girlfriend without telling him to make alts with his names without telling him, just to be able to watch him rage when he finally gets access and cant think of a name? I am not considering doing this...mostly because I have no friends...who play this game...
  14. I posted this pre-wipe and I wanted to get feedback from people who will actually be playing the game and not just trolling. Coming from other MMOs (EQ, WoW, Rift, etc.). I was always a slower leveler. I prefer to take in the sights as I go, play some alts, do some crafting or whatever. I will, at some point, most likely miss a tier or two of operations because I dont do them before they fall out of popularity. I am not a big fan of operations, but I do like to see content. I have also never been in an MMO so close to launch. So dont base your answer on how it will affect YOU necessarily, but as to what is best for the game itself. Should operations be continually upgraded in level as expansions come out? This wouldnt include whatever the major end game operation is for an expansion, but the other filler ones like Eternity Vault and the Hutt one. I am not saying to implement them right away, but maybe after the first new operations are out in a given expansion. For example: The next expansion raises the level cap to 60, new operations are released and cleared, and they patch in the tier 2 operations. Take the Eternity Vault and buff it up to a lvl 60 starter operation with loot on par with other entry level operations so those new players who were not around, or at level cap, for the lvl 50 operations can see the content in a meaningful manner. That way all the hard core raiders dont have to be bothered with redoing old content, but new people who never got to do the old content will have some variety. Bioware and EA put all that effort into creating an operation which will most likely never get played after its designed level. Just to be clear. I know you can always go back to old stuff and faceroll it at higher level, but that is no fun. There is also no benefit to it other than seeing the story (which is a good reason, but why make it the only reason?).
