  1. That doesn't seem to be the same for other pieces of gear, blue always better stats except for relics.
  2. hey, What's the deal with Relics in this game? I had a green and blue relic of the same type, Relic of Focused Retribution, both 326 and the stats were exactly the same, even down to the equip bonus. At first I thought it could be an issue with the tooltip stats not showing correctly but I tried equipping each one and there were no difference in my stats whatsoever. Since blue gear should always be better than green is this a bug, a total oversight by the devs or am I missing something? thanks.
  3. This was broken pre 7.01 but I managed to still do it. There is an issue with the first few bunch of mobs but what you can do is aggro them and bring them back to the imperials where you enter the library and they will help you fight the mobs which helps significantly. I'm pretty sure I had malgus on healing duty and he is an AoE healer so need to be fairly close to him to receive heals. I did it a while back but this strat seems to work if you're having issues.
  4. I hardly think you can call this an expansion. It's a small buggy content patch at best. How can it take you 3 years to produce 2-3 hours worth of "content". The next one better be of KOTFE / KOTET quality or better to make up for this sorry excuse of an "expansion".
  5. I still cannot purchase Cartel Coins... it goes as far as the "Pay Now" button but then I get this message... General Error - An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later. What can I do about this?
  6. They put so much work in the trailer they actually forgot about creating content for this so-called "expansion". Three years of work for only 3 hours content is a slap in the face and quite frankly treating us like fools. When the credits rolled after the buggy mess that is ruins of null I honestly thought it was an error. Bioware must do better if they wish to keep subs, this is just not acceptable.
  7. I'll see if I can break it down for you (forgive me if this isn't 100% accurate): PVP Gear You can buy PVP gear from the PVP upgrade vendor in the combat training section of the fleet or turn in weekly PVP missions which will give you a random crate of 320 gear. This gear is called "Thrysian" and you can upgrade those pieces all the way up to 326 with purple item quality. PVE Gear Conquest Gear This is green rarity it starts at 320 and can be purchased from the conquest upgrade vendors on the supplies section of the fleet. You can also get this gear from completing the heroic weekly and daily areas from random crates. This gear is called "Noble Decurion" and once purchased you can upgrade it to 326 but it remains green rarity. Veteran Mode Flashpoint Gear This is green or sometimes blue rarity and is dropped from VM flashpoint bosses. It is called "Elite Decurion" and will be of 320 but you can upgrade (trade them in) to 324 from the flashpoint upgrade vendors on the supplies section of the fleet but still remains green rarity. Master Mode Flashpoint Gear This is blue rarity and is dropped from Master Mode flashpoint bosses. It is called "Supreme Decurion" and will be 320 gear that you can upgrade all the way to 326 from the flashpoint upgrade vendors on the supplies section of the fleet. Story mode Operations Gear This is green rarity and is dropped from story mode OP bosses. It is called "Tionese" and will be 320 which can be upgraded to 322 from the operation upgrade vendors on the supplies section of the fleet but will remain green rarity. Veteran Mode Operations Gear This is blue rarity and is dropped from veteran mode OP bosses. It is called "Columni" and will be 320 which can be upgraded to 326 from the operation upgrade vendors on the supplies section of the fleet. Master Mode Operations Gear This is purple rarity and the top level gear of the game which drops from master mode OP bosses. It is called "Rakata" and will be 320 but can be upgraded to 330 from the operation upgrade vendors on the supplies section of the fleet. Legendary Implants You can now purchase legendary implants which replace the old set bonuses of gear and they have an item rating of 326. To acquire them you have to complete a mission called "Technological Advancements" from NPC Lonndar Eadwinn in the supplies section of the fleet at level 80, this involves charging a key up to 100 times. You can do this by completing flashpoints, operations, pvp, heroics weekly, personal conquests etc.. once completed you can then purchase the legendary implants from a droid next to him. I hope this helps as far as gear goes, I will update this with the currency needed to purchase gear when I have time.
  8. I sent off a bug report to Bioware and can indeed confirm it is a bug they know about and will be fixing. For now if you can bring a friend a long you should be able to beat it as I did.
  9. In the end I brought a friend along and it was a cakewalk so if you can do that instead of abandoning it. It's still broke though and this was story mode.
  10. Tried all the tricks... the LOS does help somewhat but when vette decides to fight instead of heal that's when you struggle a lot.. eventually they overwhelm you anyway. Totally frustrating, can't get past this chapter
  11. Basically that was the devs response, they are sorry and will try to make sure it doesn't happen again. You can try to submit a ticket or contact customer services and maybe they can help you individually. But there looks like they isn't going to be a fix/patch for it. It's very unprofessional I agree but if I were you I'd just get started on it again, by the time you wait for customer services you might be finished already.
  12. They promise it won't happen again.
  13. Unsure about why you were booted but when in a group most expect the following: - You know how to play your class properly and effectively. Check the many guides online for your class if you're unsure. - You have, at least, the minimum level of gear required for the flashpoint. This is especially true for level 55 hardmode flashpoints where you should have some pieces of basic gear purchasable via basic commendations. - You know the tactics for the bosses in the flashpoint. Don't expect pick up groups (PuGs) to take the time to explain them to you. If you're unsure watch guides on youtube and/or check out dufly: http://dulfy.net/category/swtor/flashpoints/ - You're pleasant in the group, basic "hi''s" and "thanks for group" go a long way. Hope this helps you in your future endeavors.
  14. I never (ever) get damage from those red circles, like I said you strafe left or right and keep tapping the space-bar at the same time, it takes 2-3s at most to get out of. As I have also said I have done the fight with my sorc must be about 20+ times and never have a problem healing it either (assuming others are moving out of the circles too). If someone gets hit with the circle and/or bomb combo yes that is un-healable., that's why it's important everyone does not get hit with any damage from the red circles. Do you remember the final boss in the esseles where you had to strafe plus jump out of the purple circles?, same thing applies to this fight.
