  1. Pretty sure he's talking about Ops here...
  2. Melee DPS has basically never been viable in any MMO for PvE play. 40 man raids in vanilla WoW would bring zero rogues into Molten Core. DaoC groups were stacked with theugists and other spell casters to bring down dragons.
  3. Why did you roll a melee, light armor, stealth class for PvE play?
  4. This buff is literally the only reason to bring the class to a raid. While you are attempting to offer solutions to make groups more diverse I fear that in doing so you will actually limit the viability of this class, making groups more streamlined. If you give bloodthirst to a sniper, for example, groups would be encouraged to double up on snipers and forgo marauders completely. Melee dps is naturally handicapped by splash damage mechanics; they need something to make them PvE viable.
  5. Mine field. I get it. Anyway, I think you are over analyzing it. Range should be at max range. This is true on many fights. They can't be tanked next to each other. This is a unique mechanic for this fight. That's all of the positioning required which doesn't seem any more "frickle" than, say, Karagga. Your tank didn't need to move "2m to the right" he needed to move away from the other boss. If he moved 50m away he'd probably be out of healing range, which is always bad. Make sure your tanks don't aoe taunt both bosses, if you run a sniper he should be on the right side to bubble rocks, and with 2 melee dps I'd split them up as they will be more taxing on healers. Otherwise it's just clean swaps and not standing in red circles.
  6. Stop being so lazy is what I think. Enjoy the environment. Use the time to think about what went wrong. This isn't team deathmatch.
  7. While that is fine, taking this horrendously small sample size and suggesting "it doesn't work" seems kinda silly to me. We ran with 4 inquisitors the other night and got roughly 50% inq gear. I've also been in groups without a warrior and had warrior gear drop. Seems to be working to me.
  8. The first one is across the fallen tree under the busted building on the right (where the stealth guys are). The second one is in the trenches, when you first enter head to the right and get to the end. The third is on the path to Kephess after two or three trash pulls. As somebody already said, the second one is really the only one you can miss. They will always be in the same location.
  9. I love the idea. It's a world that has bad things happen. I suggest dealing with it. I don't like dying and having to run back to where I was either. Should that be removed?
  10. If you are running around doing stuff... you aren't resting.
  11. FFS... are you people serious? Run times are too much for you now? You'd rather just zone in to an arena, fight 5 bosses, and leave right? Actually, that's dumb. Let us zone in and just open treasure chests. It will save so much time.
  12. ... Do you have any idea how to play your class?
  13. Then you're the worst. These guys are already useless in pve; let them have something for crying out loud.
