  1. SWTOR was going fine until yesterday, the game started slowing down (resulting in several deaths in an operation) and when I walk into a certain area, the graphics won't process unless if I wait for a minute. Anything up with that? I checked my computer hardware, deleted some stuff I don't need, but it still won't be resolved.
  2. Revan means to destroy the Sith Empire and their Emperor, but through means that parallel that of the Sith Emperor's means of destroying the galaxy: genocide. Revan and the Emperor had a telepathic link to each other, draining off of each others' strength but also influencing each other. Revan said in Maelstrom Prison that he influenced the Emperor to go for peace against the Republic and the Jedi (Treaty of Coruscant), while the Emperor was clearly influencing him over those 300 years to be Darth Revan once again and use him as a tool for mass extermination across the galaxy. But Revan's mind and willpower is strong enough to push out the Emperor's mind effects, but as he is drained of strength, a part of the Emperor's influence goes to Revan's head. In the Revan novel, Revan and the Emperor fight. The Emperor tries to control Revan's mind, but Revan blocks it and pushes his offensive (Evidence to Revan's willpower able to resist mind control) Revan is defeated by the Emperor and the Emperor commands Scourge to deal the killing blow, but then at the last second, the Emperor says "He can be of some use." So as the Emperor influenced Revan, he's trying to destroy the Emperor and his Empire but in a dark way. (Evidence to what I said about his influencing Revan to be a puppet for doing mass extinction)
  3. I know OP means overpowered, but what's OP in this case?
  4. Yes we do. But that doesn't answer my question: do you want to join the second raid group? - Role: ??? - Name: ??? - Class: ???
  5. <The Brotherhood of Darkness> is looking for a second raid group that is willing and devoted to accelerating the progress of their characters! I, Malaric, the new leader of the second raid group leader, am looking for players who aren't just willing to benefit themselves, but also the guild itself. I don't want people who are flaky or BS their way out of the ops group's activities. Minimum Requirements: Just like everyone else in <The Brotherhood of Darkness> guild, we require: a) Mumble b) A minimum of *FULL* 66 Basic gear c) Your adherence to the following Our Raiding/Meeting Times: We will meet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and during the weekend. I expect the login time to be from 7 - 7:30 pm. Organization of Progression: For those who have just started joining the raid group, our progress will start slow so that way you can get the necessary gear to progress from one level to the next. Once our group is formed, we will be doing HM Level 55 Flashpoints everyday we raid to get the daily reward of 10 Elite Commendations and do the Weekly Operation Missions to get some Ultimate Commendations. We will start getting the rest of the group Elite 69 Gear. But if the rest of the raid group is not online, I still expect you to take the initiative to do the HM Level 55 Flashpoints on your own. They're easy! On the weekends, we will drill through the raids on the Group Finder queue. We will go through every single mechanic and boss. During raids, Mumble is obviously required so communication is convenient. When we approach the boss, we will stop for several minutes and a recap/explanation will be given. I expect every member to remember the mechanics, regardless of the role. Each role (Tank, DPS, heal) depends on the other. Once we get the hang of the SM raids, when we go through each raid efficiently and as quick as possible, we will even go through the raids FULLY to acquire more and more Ultimate Commendations to get Ultimate/Arkanian/Underworld 72 gear. The key is intensive drilling, exposure to the raids, and willingness to go through it. As the new leader, here is the set of rules that are important to not just the integrity of the group, but on a larger scale, the guild itself. Login time should be between 7 - 7:30 pm so that way we can get organized and start a raid briefing. Anybody who's late has to get the information from me AFTER the briefing of the raid we're about do. We have to treat each other with respect and fairness. That is another guideline that is important to this guild. If there is discord, constant and prolonged cursing, criticisms, etc., a kick from the group may occur. When we're in a raid, the objective is to get it done as fast as possible so that way we can do something else that contributes to everybody. Discord, cursing, criticisms, etc. will only slow us down. If this continues for a prolonged amount of time (and worst case scenario, I get disrespected), then a report will be sent to Noctizz, our Guildmaster. Please be social with each other in the group. That's what makes an MMO experience and working with a guild and raid group fun. Specifically, if we are social with each other, it might make you wanna work with each other more and more. If you're having trouble with the raid and don't understand the mechanics of the bosses, then feel free to ask me or the other group members. To those who do understand the raid and the mechanics, please be willing to help out your fellow guildmates. We are a Brotherhood of Darkness, so as a member of a brotherhood, help each other out so our raids can go successful. Do NOT be selfish and unfair when we get drops. If you get one piece of gear or unassembled piece of Arkanian/Undeworld gear, back off and let another member of the group take a piece of gear (PLEASE: if you got a piece of gear already, hit PASS immediately. However, if no one else wants the piece, you're free to take it). Everybody in the group who does a raid is also looking for a piece of gear, so don't monopolize! Other than that, that's pretty much it for guidelines. But other than that, what I'm looking for - what Noctizz is also looking for - is respect to each other, fairness to each other, efficiency in getting a raid finished, motivation to help out your group AND the guild as a whole, etc. Once you join this raid group, you're forming an oath with me. - Malaric <The Brotherhood of Darkness> is looking for a second raid group that is willing and devoted to accelerating the progress of their characters! Once you're accepted into the guild, look under Forums > PvE > Raid Talk > Operation Group 2 Sign-up, and sign up there. Log in your name, role, class, and gear. As stated before, I expect a minimum of 66 Basic gear. I'm looking for 1 other tank, 4 Healers and 10 DPS. If you do not meet the gear requirements, you will have to acquire 66 Basic Gear through: - Level 50 HM Flashpoints daily reward - GSI Dailies: - Makeb - Tatooine - Hoth - Alderaan - Dailies on Section X Thank you! And the dark side of the Force will always be with us! Long live the Emperor!
  6. I just bought a few stuff from the Cartel Market. But now I wanna buy more stuff from the market. Question is, how do I get more Cartel coins?
  7. Enemy Boss (Bounty Hunter): "Please, don't kill me. Your reputation isn't a match for my skills. Just give me a hand and we can work together, no?" ((2 options: "No." (Dark side: "How about a foot?")(Light side: "Yeah, why not? For old times' sake?"))) Smuggler: "How about a foot?" (Stomps on enemy boss's hand and he falls down a cliff)
  8. If I wanted new abilities for a Sith Juggernaut I'd want to have: Tank Spec Soresu Barrier: Cooldown: 120 sec Range: Self This ability requires the Soresu Form. For 10 seconds, the player gains 100% melee and ranged defense. This ability generates a high amount of threat. Vengeance Spec Furious Shockwave: Cooldown: 10 sec Range: 10 meters Rage Cost: 6 This ability can only be used when the player has 50% or less of their total health. This ability will throw back all players by 20 meters, stunning them for 5 seconds. Rage Spec Fiery Rage: Cooldown: 60 sec Range: Self When activated, the player's Critical Rating and Surge Rating increase by 50% for 10 sec.
  9. If Revan had used the Foundry to destroy the Sith Empire, that would mean 1) Revan would've fallen back to the dark side again (just as what happened when he ordered the Mass Shadow Generator to be used to exterminate the Mandalorians with the cost of his own troops and Jedi), and 2) EVEN WORSE!! The Sith Empire would've wanted revenge again
  10. 1) A button where if a Sith or Jedi are wearing something with a hood, they can cover themselves or not 2) Anybody should be able to use any ship (like in Battlefront II OR how Cad Bane used his own fighter then a Republic fighter) 3) A non-Jedi should be able to use a lightsaber, except their ability to deflect, parry and block is as good as a non-Jedi with a vibrosword
  11. Belsavis for sure!! Hardly anything interesting there!!
  12. That's why we have newer content further into the future, thus we can potentially have an expanded story for each class, so instead of Acts I, II and III, we might get Acts IV, V, and VI. Ryan Denning, one of the artists, said, "In essence, SWTOR is basically KOTOR III, IV, V, VI, VII and VII." And plus, ever since KOTOR and KOTOR II, Star Wars fans have been looking at an era SO unlike that of the movies. So that gives LucasArts and Bioware somthing to create and work with. And thus, we get rich storylines in this game that allow us to see the creativity behind the leaders of SWTOR. But it's all to make it feel like you're in the movies again because you're dealing with 8 classes.
  13. I think primarily the Sith Inquisitor story failed because the Sith Inquisitor primarily spends a lot of his time finding relics of the dark side and forbiddden Force rituals instead of doing what Sidious does: manipulating and pulling strings. Instead, the Inquisitor is the one having his strings pulled and being manipulated.
  14. I preferred COMPLETELY dark-sided. I'm a Sith Juggernaut! I'm based off a Darth Vader archetype, but I'm pure evil!
