  1. BW need to do alot of server merges, give folk more variety of stuff to do at max level, give u alternatives to levelling through questing, just to mention a few. Oh and in the last week, 2 of the top 3 raid guilds on Hydian way have disbanded due to server population making it impossible to recruit folk to fill gaps in their force. Gaps that they got due to the guild members being bored silly with the game due to lack of stuff to do, so they dont log in any more....
  2. I know of many guilds on my server who have gone kaput due to losing players, and not being able to recruit suitable replacements due to deflated pool of players to recruit from. What is even more irksome is that BW are not listening to common sense or their player base, and are only talking about character transfers, and not server merges. Please tell me how character transfers will fix server population? Why would I want to transfer to another server and leave my game friends behind? This tbh is just another nail in the coffin, and makes me feel that they dont care about its player base, and their needs. Reminds me of the server forum debacle tbh. Please BW do the right thing to keep this game alive which started with so much promise, and merge your servers
  3. But I have friends I like playing with who are not in my guild. If i move server I lose my friends. If the servers merge, you dont lose friends, but get the opportunity to play with them and more new friends. I dont understand your thinking hun.
  4. Much of what is being said in this thread re guilds starting strong, then waning, especially after the 1.2 debacle is very common topic of conversation amongst folk on my server. The populations have dropped significantly. On Hydian Way which started out as load heavy server isnt any more. A couple of months ago fleet population at peak times was over 100,m last few days it is averaging around 40 Devs need to do some server merges very quickly, so we have a fresh pool of people to play with/recruit from. It is very difficult right now to replace the folk who have left who got disillusioned with the game in last 2-3 months. Server merges need to be done before GW2 and Secret World are launched, if they arent done then a bunch more folk will be lost from swtor to these games.
  5. Oh I should also have added, that if anyone wanted to respond to my post, only do so after reading it properly and taking it in, trolls need not bother.... thanks
  6. As stated previously, this site has been around for many, many years, and works very well. It is self policed by the people who use it, from games such as EQ1, EQ2 and WoW, and works extremely well. You may wonder how this works, it is down to the gaming community whose members will regularly discuss between themselves what has been killed and how. If any suspect kills are added to the site then they can be and are removed by other users.
  7. The best place to use for Guild Progression rankings is this http://swtor.guildprogress.com/ This site has succesfully maintained guild progress for a number of games and a month or so ago added SWTOR to its list. Currently 247 guilds in SWTOR have themselves registered here. The site is self policing and does not require screenshots, just honesty. In EQ2 where I used this site extensively it self policed very well.
  8. lol yes The accuracy of either guild progress tool will be down to guilds updating their info. Personally I prefer the guildprogress.com tool as it is a tool I am used to having used it many years in eq2, and the verifying of kills isnt as protracted/fiddly as new tool. So imo for accuracy everyone should use either both tools, or pick one which seems unlikely.
  9. It is much the same, however it is more established than the one you have linked. It is a progression site which is used by other MMO's such as everquest, EQ2 and WoW etc. Looking at it briefly it seems that more guilds are on the guild progress site than the one u linked, which looks like it is a reasonably new site =)
  10. To see where you stand in the world of Guild Progression in SWTOR, go register your guild here and input your kills from your Ops http://swtor.guildprogress.com/
  11. Nice reply Xanoth, though I will still be hoping at some point in the future it happens
  12. Heh as it works very well in Everquest 2, I dont think it is illegal
  13. Strongly disagree, as I have said more than once in this thread, this could easily be incorporated in to the betrayal quest line
  14. My idea is that at lvl50 only, you can choose to betray to your opposing class. There would be a quest line to follow. Part of the quest would be to kill your opposing class and then inherit their ship and companions - simples =D
