  2. I guess I will need to make a switch to dps for ranked. I don't want to be liability to the team, plus tanks barely queue solo rank in my server. Thank you for everyone's input. I am still open to suggestion until 2.7 hits live.
  3. Thank you for the input. I'm still looking for comments regarding ranked (mainly arena). I have no problem in reg wz. I feel like 1 - 1 trade between endurance and 2nd stat is still good so most likely, I will use BX mod but the mitigation enhancement. I'm not sure if giving up Slow Time for Force in Balance will benefit the team in ranked.
  4. As season is about to come to an end, it's time that I need to prepare for season 2. Currently, I'm running full tank spec (http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#601MIroddfdGzRZcMZdM.3) with endurance augmented Conqueror gear (40k health). Because the new tier gear will come out and Obroan will no longer require Conqueror, I can basically switch gearing and spec around. I'm interested in what everyone plan to play for season 2 as a shadow tank. I have 4 options in mind but I can't decide on one. I haven't played ranked as much so I have no idea which spec is viable but I do plan on playing ranked more often in season 2. (both group and solo) 1. Use full tank spec. Full mitigation. 2. Use full tank spec. Endurance heavy. 3. Use full tank spec. Use Tanking set bonus. Use dps mod/enhancement 4. Try one of the hybrid. Still don't know what gearing I should be using. Any suggestions are welcome.
  5. Shadow tank has the same stat distribution despite having more DR post 2.5? Can you explain the reason? It's not obvious to me.
  6. In the end, they didn't change the fact that resist will not give a stack. This makes the expected time to regain 4 stacks from 0 stack to be around 1.97 seconds.

Their force armor will decrease dtps and possibly adph.
  8. I only see shadow tank and DF on the leaderboard. Kinda a curious if other tanks don't care or don't bother to upload their parse. Personally, I only tank and upload 2 - 3 parses over a year so I am one of the latter group. That aside, I have a parse for DP.   9. I have 2 questions. (Doesn't want to start new thread) 1. Would Obroan RW and Dread Forged RW stack? (a.k.a. don't share internal cd) 2. Which one is better between Obroan RW and Conqueror RW? (Optional) Pre 2.5, Is healing relic still viable for shadow tank? I have Kell Dragon healing relic so I don't know if I should switch it out.
  10. I would like to point out that the relic data (2.4) for shadow in TFB and SnV sections are the same. By the way, how do you compare two relics?

  12. Thanks for the number. One small note, I believe the minimum defense rating for shadow (maybe for other classes as well) is 110 from earpiece. I assume that 70 in TFB comes from stim. Would stat budget stay the same for shadow post 2.5?
  13. I see. I was comparing mine (+ def proc relic) with yours (w/o def proc relic) so the different looked kinda odd. I guess I have been gearing slightly off because I add relic to my stat budget and distribute points based on the numbers you calculated. On a side note, I am starting to think having a set of gear per encounter seem to be a good idea. Some fights need almost 0 defense while others need 700+. I am also curious how long does it take you to calculate stat budget.
  14. I thought the stat budget would a bit higher. Mod = 69*9 = 621 Enhancement = (94+39)*7 = 931 Implant/Earpiece = (94+110)*3 = 612 Augment 32*14 = 448 Stim = 70 Total = 2682 Total + Def Proc Relic = 2721 Do I miss something?
