  1. Great question. Search for "into the pit" in the search box. It'll answer it for you.
  2. First, the class is poorly named. We're not assassins, we're not "inquisitors." We're glorified Imperial Reclamation Service Workers. Go to this cave, get something old. Go to this tomb, get something old. Go to this planet, get something old..... That's the class story, with broken (poorly designed) companions. And the ending is a major letdown. Roll a BH or a Soldier if you want a good story.
  3. Naw, it's a BS quest. Fully understand. But I always search the forums when things seem...wrong.
  4. @ the OP Abvll..... Um, is your search function broken? There are literally a dozen threads on this. After your third wipe, you should have searched the forums.
  5. I was running an Alt on Korriban last night. I walked out of the Sith Academy on my baby sith and...***...there's 40+ players standing around on the steps. The emotes and the nakedness were flying. After a few whispers, turns out it was a guild meet-up (Alpha Imperium, on the DWC server). 1) It was great to see an active guild event that didn't revolve around trading kills in Illum (the only other time I've seen that many people in the same place for a single purpose). 2) Surprisingly, the lag wasn't as horrible as I would have expected (no fighting, so...). 3) It made me feel like I was in an actual MMO, rather than a Star Wars mod of Mass Effect. Great job guys, I'd love to see more events like this.
  6. Found it like 2 seconds after I posted. (Also, different Petrus.)
  7. Your comment got me thinking. I remember needing to "get a buff" from a dancer in the cantina before going on a good ol' Krayt dragon hunt for pearls. (Don't forget to tip.) SWG was an MMO because you needed other players to do things. This is different than, say, "LF DPS for [flash point]." Just like BW's approach to space combat, this whole game is on rails, and you don't need to interact with others. Hell, even our "social" interactions in flash points are sanitized through the pre-scripted choices. Great review.
  8. Where is the documentation on nerfs to hybrid builds and charges? I'd like to see what all the hubub is about.
  9. Oh, I understand the resolve system. That's why I posted in the first place. In normative terms, the immobilization from this specific chain of attacks should not decide the outcome of an engagement before the opponent has a chance to respond in any way. It's an "I win" button when executed correctly.
