  1. whatever the video is the PvP is bad because of 2 things: Recruit gear vs War Hero gear+ augmented. class imbalance.
  2. Take 1 person with Recruit gear Take 1 person with WH gear with all augmented pieces. And then talk about skill.. i don't know what BW was thinking. with all those augmented things, it's now very difficult for battlemasters as well. im not talking about recruit.. seems like there have to be just certain brackets for: recruit/bm/wh. because the difference, also with all augments now, is just too horrible

  4. Simply I can't play anymore. They transfered all english european PvP servers to Tomb. Now there is 1600+ people queue.. That's just ridiculous.. Don't know what they are going to do with that, but I simply can't play, i would have to wait 2 hours in queue.
  5. I'm a sage and I have no hope for ranked warzones, until solo ranked comes out. I don't even think I will be accepted there as either balance or TK sage, maybe only if I'm healer, so I'm not going to that place obviously. TK sage is as someone stated: just like a sniper, but without immunity against interrupts, leaps, pulls, and eventually even less burst damage. Only good thing TK sage has is basically infinite force. And also more burst damage than for example compared to balance/madness. But in overall less damage eventually. With balance battlemaster with WH weapon I get around 220 - 300k damage, with TK its around 150 - 220k. Unless it's a voidstar and I can deal some huge AoE near the doors. I love TK and those waves of disturbance, turbulence, ability to do some huge AoE damage, but it appears to be effective only in FAIL matches when the team ignores me completely and I can spam just every skill i have lol. WHile in reality there is 90% of the time some marrauder(s) chasing me. As balance I can root them, CC them a bit and run around deal some damage and put some dots on them before I die so at least they run away with 30-40% health. While with TK I just throw some turbulence and something more and leave them with 80% of health.. I would love to see bioware improve TK. Like making a point when for example you can't be leaped, pulled, interuppted during your cast times and like 1sec after.
  6. I run as balance/madness sage. I'm all fine, and statistically I end up being top dps in game, usually the second one.. Now where the problem is.. How much of that dps is burst? lol basically no burst. To start dealing damage I have to drop my aoe, put 2 dots, then tele throw and mind crush, then you can see DoT's ticking and target receiving huge damage over time, but that damage is like instantly negated by heals. So I keep on doing this, if let's say no marauder or some PT jump on me and burn me in several seconds. So I keep on doing this, and I end up having no force, and being forced to use tele throw continuously and doing very little damage, but I have no other choice.. I like this build, I have that root, I have loads of CC as well, but I don't like this build much, I rather play lightning/telekinetics, which is utterly useless in PvP, and only viable in PvE. I don't get that person who wrote here above, that he played all the way through being lightning sorc. You will only deal more damage if the team ignores you, and usually you will "shine" in voidstar where you can do some crazy AoE. But as soon as someone jumps on you, your all done. Being lightning/tele sorc/sage is the same like being gunslinger/sniper, but having no cover = everyone can pull you, everyone can interrupt you, everyone can jump on you. And yeah on top of it doing less damage.
  7. My honest humble opinion: problem is recruit gear. Literally, being in recruit gear and fighting against 80% of people in PvP who have BM/WH or half BM/WH results in being killed too quickly while not really doing much damage at all. As you get BM you will see difference. Also please don't tell me that you need more skill or whatever. Grinding gear in PvP results in getting skiled in PvP, you don't get your WH or BM out of sky, you get it from winning, losing matches where sometimes it's interesting to play, sometimes frustrating. If you meet someone with WH, he/she is going to be skilled more than you with recruit gear, because he/she spent hours to grind that gear in PvP.
  8. I will never understand some things the BW does. For example WZ commendation cap = WHY ?! It's serous, as PvPer you not only get basically no damn credits, but you end up at 50 being with the same recruit gear as other people who turned just 50 with PvE.
  9. I really need solo ranked. I'm not kind of player sitting and looking for groups the whole time.. Solo is the way to go, I hope they wont postpone it till the end of this year or something.
  10. it's hutball. its like gunslingere stand there on upper ramp and nuke everyone, it's their kind of "mission". mobility and CC controls hutball. I know from scrapper scoundrel that my role there is about 1/7 role of what i can do with a jedi sage. but as scoundrel healer i was pretty darn good as a healer the whole time i do believe that while jedi sage/shadow/assasin/sorc are very good in hutball. they are perhaps worse in other certain maps. and you cant chage anything there. you cant just give more CC to scoundrels when there already is ridiculous amount of CC in this game

    I think you dont really need to wait when i transfered my char to PTS, i got on my 50 sage that i had long time ago a free box with recruit gear. it was in republic fleet near pvp quest terminal, just had to click terminal and got that box. well they might change when it goes live who knows ^_^

    and also in 1.3 you get it for free when your character reaches level 50, all peaces, even relics.

    It does really need some separation. Recruit hear is horrible but you can't just tell off those people with recruit gear because when you level up some new class, you will have to eventually buy recruit gear yourself. I think honestly gear at 50+ should be more about specializing yourself in certain place(like some gear that improves certain skills), but not this weird expertise/stats overal increase which again makes people with recruit, and even BM gear much worse than people who have augmented WH gear. They tried to change something but it didnt work at all, if im right then some time ago most of PvP team was fired that made also current recruit/BM/WH
  14. healing is not really in a bad position. I honestly feel its in alright position, scoundrels/operatives are now top healers. its still like before tbh - if your team has 1-2 healers, opposing none, then you have more chance to win, but it doesnt guarantee win. and i also do feel that balance here is difficult subject, can't talk about balance when i see marauders and PT dealing their massive burst damage in several seconds

Do you think that alternative leveling options are still very minimal ? 1.3 brings a tool to customize our exp gain with warzones, space missions etc. While it is still very minimal compared to traditional solo-ing through planets + questing. Especially when we are talking about credits.. A hardcore warzones player will never get that 1kk+ credits by the time he/she reaches level 50, also the gear is very difficult in that case, there is just not much gear available, only at 20 and 40. So you have to rely on little credits gained from warzones and GTN expensive prices. Do you have any plans for that ? Credits for PvPer in general are really really terrible if they don't craft/gather etc. And unfortunately credits become VERY important eventually with the PvP war hero gear and augmented slots that cost a lot of credits.
