I really think MMO's need to just add a "Team/Solo Deathmatch" Instanced pvp. It's the most popular form of play in FPS, why wouldn't it be here? It's much more fun to kill people than to mess with a glitched ball pass mechanic, camp a door, or defend a node that nobody is coming to.

Yeah I agree. Not much else to say, it's a good point and an issue they need to fix. Patches should be consistent as far as release day goes (tuesday).

OH, I guess I should have mentioned I am a darkness assassin tank! I am level 45 and I don't see -too- much changing at level 50. As for the random threat, several enemies I've encountered in FPs actually have attacks that target random party members. Such as the first boss in RR, who will jump at a random player that is not the tank, and stun them for 1.5 seconds while doing about 3k damage.

So, let me start by saying I love this game, it's awesome and a breath of fresh air for me. Tanking threat is fine at max level. If a tank knows how to optimize their class, they should not have trouble holding threat (given the dps gives them 2-5 seconds to pull.) My issue is the amount of CC that nearly every mob in every flashpoint seems to have, and they only do it to the target (the tank most likely.) I was running RR normal yesterday and was thrown around like a rag doll. We still cleared with no issues at all, but it was not fun for me in the slightest. Many bosses are like this as well, have 2-3 stuns/knockbacks/knockdowns that they ONLY use on the highest threat target. My request is that defense rating give a resolve-like DR on PvE cc. It would make tanking much more fun for me, as well as many others I would assume. Just throwing this out there to see what you guys think, both on the state of tanking and my briefly thought out idea.

Pretty much. Though, there really is no logical argument against the use of addons, or even the proper tools we need to play an mmo competitively. Saying "i got bullied because i suck at dps and stand in fire," is not a valid argument. That is a problem with the players, not the tool. In an mmo, you have a choice of who you play with. If you don't like someone, do not play with them. I have been playing with the same group of friends for nearly 5 years now, the core of us remaining the same as some come and go. You should learn to make friends, it's pretty cool.

Statistically speaking, less people killed heroic Ragnaros than they did Illidan. I am not counting SWP because it was only available for a short amount of time before WOTLK hit, and M'uru was bugged to near impossibility for almost the entirety of the raids relevance. Statistics do not lie, look them up.

This just goes to show that you have not a single clue what you are talking about. Heroic Ragnaros was THE HARDEST encounter ever implemented into the game. You can't even deny that.
