  1. If you honestly watched this video and don't agree with any of his points it only proves your incompetence. I thought there would be some i disagree with, but they were all VERY basic, must knows, for any pvp'er. Sorry but there isn't an alternative option to what this guy shows as mistakes.

    Is SWTOR dying?

Oh wow this is the most awkward thing I have read today. I wonder when the penny will drop and this guy will realise what an idiot he was.
  3. Sadly, I have to agree with you. It's amazing how many bad players stream on twitch. Within about a minute of watching his video I saw him use his expensive AOE on a single target, and a complete lack of strafing. In fact, I suspect he doesn't even know what that is. I almost was waiting for some backpedaling to happen. He literally walks up to the enemy and stands in front of them until the move. It was painful to watch. The only person who was good that I saw was the healer keeping him up constantly, but I don't know if I would want to stream a video when I am clearly been carried by my teammates. I wouldn't have said anything, but clearly this is a pretty arrogant individual, however the basis for said arrogance has to be questioned. On the other hand, I think it is absurd to say Shadow or Pyrotech are better. Having played both I prefer Pyrotech, but the Shadow has way more utility I can't deny. But the pyro has amazing range so it's a tradeoff.
  4. It's ranked warzones therefore going in you know you are going up against people who want to be the best of the best. Part of wanting to be the best of the best is having a good team, and thus a good pvp guild. If you can't deal with that then don't join ranked warzones. Personally, I'm ecstatic the way things are. By the time the puggers get to join I would have full War Hero gear plus all my augments. I'll feed you to my dogs.
  5. Roxax, it gets a LOT harder once you hit 50. I found it very easy pre 50. So I just don't think your opinion is valid post 50.
  6. LOL. Oh yes well I'm sure at lvl 22 you have an in depth understanding of your class as is evident by the fact that you say you constantly use maul, then when your called out on it as a bad pvp'er, you claim you are no longer using maul but it is just an opener. But then didn't you say in 2-3 mauls they are dead. Your obviously young, and have not played much before, and now your in some good gear at lvl 22 your feeling a sense of achievement (good for you), but you need others to know how good you feel about yourself and because your slightly socially inept you think posting posts like this is a good way to achieve it. Well well done little man, well done indeed!!!!!
  7. Assassins and Shadows often top the damage charts....of course they are the ones that know what they are doing. How many times can you say 'Im not having fun' in a thread. I'm suspicious that you are fully trolling. Thirdly, you don't like how in the lower pvp bracket people are somewhat equalised. Why? Because it's about skill and not gear? This would suggest that you are not very good at pvp and rely on out gearing people to win....also why you like WOW. This and the fact that you can't do well as an Assassin only leads me to believe you expect the game to compensate for your ineptness.
  8. It is frustrating playing tank and guarding healers that seem completely oblivious to the fact you are protecting them by CCing and taunting anyone who comes close to them, and of course the guard. So when healers, and tanks start to cotton on to the fact that they need each other life will be much better. Personally I think healers should be squishy because that gives tanks a spot in WZs. Keep that damn healer alive!
  9. The OP obviously feels passionate about Vanguards/Pyrotech's and for good reason. I certainly have nothing I can do to stop them as a Sage. Shadows, Marauders, Guardians I can control and win, or at least get away, more often than not. But Vanguards just do such high damage and you can't escape them due to their range and pull. I find these guys infuriating to say the least. I have come to realise though that this just may be the natural enemy of the Sage, and so my tactic is to keep the hell away from them. If they turn around and look at me I duck behind a pillar or something. And if I see one in a group I focus on them hard until they die, or they see me where I revert to the hide behind the pillar tactic (or flee). Sometimes it's better to be a live coward then a dead hero.
  10. It's English with a capital E, and it's their not there.
  11. Totally agree quiters suck. The only positive thing is that most of the time they suck and occasionally are replaced by a much better player, which results in the game been turned around. It happens....but not often. Regardless, quiters should be blocked for 15 mins I agree.
  12. I liked your criticisms but what are you trying to achieve by starting off with saying this....
  13. Well when I target someone with my dots they certainly die if they don't pay attention to me. Even if they cleanse it that is a wasted GCD and I will have four dots on them at any given time. If they disengage I have enough control over them that they can't simply run away. If they try to take me on I can usually kite them effectively. Just because the damage isn't bursty doesn't make it inefficient? If a healer is continuously cleansing my dots then they are not healing, which also helps.
