  1. Mate you dont need to do any fps or hm fp to get into ops, you only need to do the daily quest´s on illum and belsavis, for 20 or so commendations + purple enhancement and mods(from the heroic quest, always do them)and you can buy barrel/hilt/armor for 8 daily commendation also. its also gives you tons of credtis, so you can go and buy whatever you want on the ah for those slots you still need, like implant/ear with aug slot in them. Do it with 2-3 friends and it will be super fast and far far better than any fp you can do. Then after a few days you can gather 8 players(who all did this)and do normal ops for 2 weeks for some rakata items, and then you can do hardmode ops. You dont need more than that to do it, 2-3 weeks at lvl 50 is all it takes to start on hm ops if you only got a few hours a day to play and gather gear.
  2. I have camera zoom out to spot them and for general awarenes, but ones i see one and i notice where its moving to. I run to it and then when im close to it i look straight up, as if i was in first person view, that way you be able to see exacly where the pylon is. I always say "pylon" in voicechat when it comes so everyone know they have to look where it is and move if they need. I also always get a bubble from my sage when i say "pylon", so it can negate some of the damages if i get hit (better to be hit by beam than not getting shield of the boss)
  3. Read the last few lines i wrote ONLY go into first person view when you are running to the pylon and under it, to look straight up so you know the correct spot it will hit.
  4. Instead of zoming out max for the pylons in the end phase do it like me. As soon as you have seen a pylon coming zoom into first person view and run to it then look straight up while you run right under it and over to the other side (with the boss following you because you tauntet him) This is making it super easy to get into the right position and to see where the beam will hit. Oh and when the pylon comes, say pylon and have you sage/sorc shield you because you will prolly get hit by it 50% of the time. Just live with it, you should be able to take it or you need better gear. Then zoom out to max again so you can watch for a new pylon and ligthing balls. (alittle show off, 20k hps now weee)
  5. I would replaces the 2 points in defendsive messure and put them in rebraced armor for that extra migration that actually works (kinetic/energy from armor) Ofcause if you love the harpoon in hutball for rooting someone in flames/acid to must then i understand you
  6. (at lvl 50) Take off armor, when wz starts go out and put armor on, then use your big medpack and boom you got 2 medals. Yep its broken and a crappy system, yep you cant use tank stats for almost anything in pvp battle because thats broken to. So specing tank talent is pointless for pvp
  7. At lvl 50 i aint using anything that require either dark or light and there is no reason why i would wanna focus on one or the other should i make a new charater. There really aint no reason at 50 to be 1 other the other right now in terms of gear, and the companion affection for craft is so small it really dont matter must either. Use gifts to get your main companion to max so that you get the quest talks for extra exp and thats it.
  8. I hate it aswell, its just ****up. Im at 180 trys on my blue implant to get the purple version that i want. And i no ideir if i need to make 180 more or 5000s, its insane and i really really hate not knowing if i ever get it or not. The amount of mats i wastet is insane, i even bug reportet it and scream at them in tickets cause this just seem to freaking broken. The most crappyest part is that the 120daily token implant might even be better than the purple version with aug slot in it, but well i cant compare until i get it.
  9. Aye the stim aint a problem, getting a blue stim that last 2 hours though death aint that hard to buy, or craft mats so your friendly guildmate can make them for you. Right now they sell for around 8k, so do one daily for 10k and you got 2 hours worth of buff. If this become cheaper or not time will tell i suppose (i hope they lower the mats so they are easyer to make for a better market, that would help all of us) I agree the reuseable adrenals might be to great for pvp encounters since they stack with all the other buffs and well the 1 use version are just way way to expensive in mats and so not worth it at all.
  10. Illum is a huge joke, whatever developer they have on pvp needs to get fired fast. Cause they have no ideir what world pvp means.
  11. 1v1 balances wont work in a game that stil use rock/scissor/paper type models and have classes that are "healers" "tanks" "dps". Guildwars 2 is where we will see great pvp, because there are no healers in that game ,Nor tanks nor dps. Everyone get 1 heal skill (with cd) and protection skills off varius sort to etc etc. Guildwars 2 is where pvp 1v1 balances may work.
  12. As a shield spec vanguard i skip wz until the 30ish simple because we dont really come into our role before then. And if i had to lvl him up now again i would not get there until lvl 40+ or maybe even first at 50 because of the all in one bracket (far to many 50s with expertise gear now). My suggestion to any new low lvl vanguard for pvp wz would be to go for assault spec and simple stay behind/close to healers or other dps and deal as must damages as you can. Mix it up with harpooning there healer and interupting his heals, and using ion cell and have guard on your healer for extra protection. Going into close combat with a true pvp spec (tactic or shield) will tbh just get you **** againts any competent lvl 50 with expertise gear on, and make it less fun for you. I had many fights where i was with a low lvl or the enemy was, and on boths part me or him would just focus down the low lvl for a "easy kill" and then return to the lvl 50. Thats sadly the ugly part of warzones right now.
  13. I used Elara dorne as soon as i got her and never used anyone else (except at class quest part where you have to) I have been shield spec all the way and it just amazin for lvling and the dps is more than fine. In many fights i dont get under the 80% mark for the simple reason of her healing and all my damages reduction abilities/talents. Im also biochem and as sayd many time already, it those help alot. Keeping Elara is gear up to date was very importent for me to, it helps alot for her heals. Aim/power/aclarity are her primary stats you should look for, and crit/surge as extra. On your soloing heroic +2 elites and take no damages at lvl 50, i dont think that would happen unless you have t3 pve gear. I think when they say take no damages they just mean they can really soak up a lot of beating cause we are super tanks
  14. Man i need dual spec, i so want tactic for pvp. But aint giving up my tank spec for it since i need it more atm. 8sec cc immunity is amazing in huttball if you wanna score with ze ball. Or just for anything else tbh. 6sec on interrupt againts healers are again amazin, and lets not forget gut with internal dot damages. And 15%speed and and and... hmmm To me tactic is the dps pvp team spec, where assault is the i farm damages score from a distance just hitting everyone.
