  1. I'd personally rather have a set of movies based around the Mandalorian Wars or even all the way back to the Great Hyperspace War. I'd love to see Naga Sadow get shown off in a movie or two. Plus it'd be cool to actually see the Sith race itself have a trilogy. If you're going to do a real prequel trilogy then take it all the way back to probably the most important time period and war in galactic history. Plus a Hyperspace War movie or movies also sets up the planet Ossus as perhaps the most important planet in the galaxy. Then that planet can be then used in future movies and spin offs as a connecting thread.
  2. What makes it worse is diconnects or errors in things are so badly explained in text it makes it almost impossible to try top find out exactly how to fix things yourself. In this game it;s just a case of trring all of the usual same steps anytime anything goes wrong.
  3. You do know that the current deal is until 2023 right? They signed the 10 year deal in 2013. I'm guessing you're confusing the EA Licensing deal for Star wars with the release date of this game. This game came out in December 2011, a good year and a half before EA acquired the exclusive videogame rights to Star Wars. This game will very likely be mostly unaffected by EA's deal with Star Wars whatever happens.
  4. My top 3 wanted playable species for SWTOR would be Kel'dor, Devaronian and Selkath. Selkath is obviously the least likely but ever since the first KotOR i've adored them and how they speak, they're adorable.
  5. Yeah, when they refer to ancient Sith they mean guys like Tulak Hord or Naga Sadow. The Sith that formed the original Dark Council and founded the Sith. Not a bunch of randoms coming from a Sith Academy. Though i honesty don't think time matters so much since there are people incredibly strong in the force in all era's. Like Revan, or Luke Skywalker. I mean the Outlanders accomplishments are honestly only really achieved through working with other allies or various Deus Ex machina items and abilities we see used once or twice. I mean if we went purely lore and story wise out of all of the playable force user characters then the Sith Sorcerer would be by a mile the most powerful, since you have the ability to literally absorb the souls and abilities of powerful force ghosts and add them to your own. That character would be legit primary antagonist material. Sure, to get the most out of it you have to get them to willingly join you and then you're stuck with them nagging you occasionally but still. Though actually in game that side of the storyline is barely explored whatsoever ability wise. It just for some reason goes away and is never mentioned again. . .Like any Sith would just give up that kind of insane power.
  6. I mean it's obvious and not every interesting but Grandmaster Luke Skywalker could also easily beat the Outlander. The stuff you've come up against in game pales in comparison to the stuff Luke did during his life in the novels and stuff. Though obviously it's no fun to just count him since he's obviously the mainest of main characters in the Star Wars lore. So obviously he's going to be the strongest.
  7. No. If we're counting canon and non canon force users, which we'd obviously have to do if the Outlander is to be in this discussion then there are many many other Force Users that have done some way more insanely powerful stuff. Like ol Palpy creating a Force Storm so big it created a hyperspace wormhole that decimated an entire fleet, or even just Revan. Revan was probably way stronger than the Outlander. Then if you wanted to go really out of the way you'd just say Abeloth. Abeloth could do crazy stuff like actually teleport, create avatars or copies of herself, change her appearence at will and create a force-flash powerful enough to throw off the visual sensors of ships across an entire star system. Then there's obviously 'The Father' though it was always up in the air if The Ones even existed in actual physical form so i won't count him if we're not counting Vitiate for the same reason.
  8. I'll try out pingplotter tomorrow, i;m currently way too burned out from trying things to fix the issue already today. Though i am tempted to just give up and try logging in again in like a week. Since it was an issue i've only had the last 2 days, (though i've spent most of those 2 days installing and reinstalling the games than anything. So there's a chance it will just sort itself out eventually. Since i was playing the game perfectly fine before Friday. As i mentioned, i;m not someone who just jumps right to the forums when something doesn't work, i'll go look up everything i can on issues similar to mine and try everything to fix it myself first. Just nothing's worked, which is frustrating. Maybe it is just a server issue, or some kind of server connection problem, in which case, probably will just sort itself out in time. Will be annoying to have like a week of my subscription wasted but oh well. It happens. Only just came back to the game less than a week ago since wanted to give the post KotET content and Onslaught a go, since i've been away from the game since pre Jedi's Under Siege. Looks like that's on hold again xD
  9. For the last couple days now anytime i try to log into a character within less than a minute i get kicked out of the game to server select. I hate asking for help on these things as usually you always just get the exact same replies, but well i've tried everything i could find on others that have had similar issues in the past and nothings helped. I'm on Darth Malgus server. Tried reinstalling the game completely. Tried everything to do with my firewalls and anti-virus Tried with and without Bitraider Tried all kinds of PC diagnostics (which i know it has nothing to do with that) Tried restarting my PC, restarting my router. Tried playing with nothing else on my PC open or running. so if anybody has any ideas i haven't tried yet then let me knowq. Literally the only thing that changed on my end between SWTOR working fine and these sudden crashes is that i became a subscriber. I subbed and then the next morning suddenly i could barely play the game. edit 1: Have heard there are a lot of server lag and crash issues others are having too so maybe that's the problem? I have no idea. I just want to be able to play the game.
  10. I play on Darth Malgus which i'll admit, is also a bit crappy a name for a server, though Malgus himself was cool. Can't remember what my server was called pre-merge. I was on the PvE EU (english server mostly), also had a couple characters on the PvP one.
  11. Nah, i prefer The Hot Pocket Like the other guy suggested. Should name all the servers after terrible microwaved foods.
  12. I mean there's already so many various clipping issues with weapons, cloaks, robes, capes etc that just have a little bit more with some nice long hair shouldn't be an issue anyone really cares about.
  13. Oh i know, i'm just picking hairs. Personally i'd rather them not be mirrored pairs at all. Sure, keep them similar enough but give them atleast some things to make them more unique in the combat proficiencies system or something. Personally i find the combat proficiencies system itself a terrible progress system anyway so i'd say replace it with something completely different.
