  1. Hey everyone, I'm returning to this lovely world during the quarantine and I'm currently doing the SI quest where you get Khem Val. I've done it a million times before, but I've hit a snag. After the cutscene plays where I zap the wall to get to Khem, the wall is still there. I can't get past it to Khem. I've exited the instance and reset it; same problem. Anyone have any suggestions?
  2. So I'm (finally) rolling a new class as I'm burning out on my LS Inquisitor Main. I'm finding the SW class extremely engaging and a nice change of pace. My question is if I can afford to skip the planet quests and side quests and just to the class story quests. I've done everything else a thousand times and seen how it all plays out so the idea of doing it again is just XD
  3. I really do appreciate the replies; this community is extremely helpful! I suppose we shall see how a LS Assassin plays out.
  4. Like the title says, I'm feeling myself burned out with SWTOR. It's mainly due, I think, to how I'm struggling to find a class I enjoy and want to main with. I was leveling up a DS Sorcerer and was thoroughly enjoying zapping people, but I found myself wanting to actually use my lightsaber and be less...evil. The thought of starting another character at level 1, thought, reeeeeeeeally makes me despair: I just my DS Sorcerer to level 75 and am running him through Makeb. I don't want to start over now, and I want to enjoy the game. Not sure what to do before I'm just burn out.
  5. My Sith Inquisitor was a slave who was the bastard offspring of some random Sith Lord. The Lord couldn't have this embarrassment running around causing a ruckus, but he also found himself unwilling to slaughter the infant or abandon it. He decided he would do the next best thing: Scrocai became his slave. He was treated as well as any slave in the Empire could be expected, which is to say, as little more than a target dummy for his 'father's' angry spells. The saving 'grace,' however, was the Sith Lord's legitimate son: a warrior prodigy on his was to entering the Academy on Korriban under Overseer Tremel and Darth Baras. This blossoming warrior, Xalikos, knew the truth of his father's favored slave and decided to act in a way that would make most Sith Lord vomit in disgust. He befriended his half-brother; he would not abandon him. He slipped him food whenever he could, in addition to secret hours training in combat. Turns out, it was Xalikos who discovered his brother was force sensitive and helped to get him in to the Academy as a freed slave. Xalikos' compassion had several lasting effects on Scrocai. First, it kept him from becoming jaded and sadistic. Most Sith who are pained tend to pass that pain on to others. Not Scrocai: throughout his rise to the Dark Council as Darth Nox, he kept his emotions from driving him to sadism. Xalikos also gave Scrocai a form of patriotic love for the Empire. Hours spent outside under the night sky discussing the lore of Naga Sadow and Marka Ragnos showed Scrocai what the Empire could be; all it would take would be "strong, rational rulership." The best day of Scrocai's life was when his brother, the newly dubbed "Empire's Wrath," stood by his side as he ascended to his new position on the Dark Council. The worst day was when he learned of his brother's fate at the hands of a mysterious pair of twin conquerors who attacked Korriban. Scrocai made sure his brother was buried with full Sith honors in the tomb of Naga Sadow before joining Darth Marr on a mission of vengeance into deep space.
  6. This is my first expansion experience in SWTOR. I'm not sure where to look for game updates and how to interpret their jargon; I'd like some help. I'm noticing that my tanking companion (I main Sith Sorc) is either dealing less damage or taunting less. Also, I died in a solo flashpoint: that's never happened before. What exactly has changed in the combat scene?
  7. I thought about staying neutral, but the problem is that I have to juggle the alignment toggle at the bottom and that's just annoying.
  8. So I'm looking for some ideas/justification for my new main's LS or DS alignment. My driving force is that my Sorcerer is going to go his own way and not let the Sith tell him what to do: the essence of the Sith Code is freedom, and he's going to embrace that. He's also going to work for a better and more efficient Empire that doesn't massacre its own people and resources. He's able to do this since he had a half-brother (my Warrior) who treated him with compassion, even though he was still a slave. This kept him from becoming jaded. I can see a LS and DS both being justified here. I don't like the overall goody-two shoes of a pure LS, but I also don't like how you are treated as a comical villain if you go DS. Any advice?

  10. A bit RP-ish, but I'm struggling finding a good luck for my LS Darth Imperious main. I want him to have nice outfits for each stage of his journey (Apprentice, Lord, Darth, etc.) and can't find a solid one for his time as a Lord of the Dark Council. I've narrowed it down to two (both without helmets): Tulak Horde's and the Callous Conqueror set. Would love your input to help my indecisiveness.
  11. That's it. Just a happy post. Have a wonderful day in SWTOR!

  13. I saw a vid a while back where someone had given Lana a new outfit as they played through the KOTFE/ET. Does anyone else do this? If so, what do you use? I'd love to personalize my play through even more so this idea really appeals to me.
  14. With regards to exactly why Revan and Malak fell to the Dark Side, that was explained both in SWTOR and in the Revan novel. They went off into deep space in search of the 'Great Evil' that had pushed the Mandalorians into war; this caused them to find the Sith Empire. They plotted what they thought would be an assassination attempt on the Emperor, but instead they found themselves captured. The Emperor easily broke their minds and instantly turned them to the Dark Side. He sent them back to the Republic as a sort of preliminary strike team, both to weaken the Republic and to gain access to the Star Forge (which would allow him to invade the Republic far ahead of schedule). However, as Revan and Malak returned to the known galaxy, the control of the Emperor wained enough for them to follow their own, albeit dark and twisted, desires.
