I think the love/hate response is dependent on system configuration and by a massive margin monitor type. Personally as I work with video and photographic images I _have_ to use an IPS monitor JFGI hehe. But basically that means far greater image clarity and truer colour/contrast/saturation/shadow depth and to quite honest the "improvements" don't stack up well on this type of monitor; the retouching looks over done and over saturated (nasty instagram filter style) but does look better on a standard monitor which I also use for proofing images. I think an on off toggle is definitely in order here editing the game sys file is not really fair as, a lot of people won't want to touch itit will look also terrible on low end monitors with low contrast ratios ie and to save typing an essay: http://www.slrlounge.com/what-is-an-ips-monitor-understanding-ips-displays one of the better explainations I've seen posted. Now I can't possibly show how different they look even with links to pics etc as you honestly have to sit in front of two different monitor types to see it, but it really is quite drastic. You will not really see the difference until you do. What looks like a well edited picture can look like utter garbage when viewed on an IPS as you can see where the editing has been done (in bad way brush strokes dodging and burning) etc. So yeah sure fiddle with graphics, but I think certainly make it an option from inside the normal game graphics options.

Why is it, as a subscriber after the overloaded server crashes, I have to wait 15 mins in a queue just to log into a game that lagged and kick my character out in the first place ? pretty poor service.

The only greifing I've seen is from people exploiting the blue torus/core defense droid fight, what they do is this: Wait until some one is fighting the core defense droid with the blue torus, then when their comp dies, the griefer starts attacking the core droid thereby freezing it's hp, so the other player can't complete the fight. Because the game thinks the other player is "helping" it flags the player trying complete the mission, and in goes the greifer for the easy kill.. nice.. So in return I went right back and handed the guy's "war hero" back side to him in a sling.

I've read a lot of the comments, some points I agree with some not. My view is I like it, took a while to get on the first rung of the progression ladder but once you do it's fine, yes areas are busy with a time limit they will be the first weeks of Black hole where the same, containers was a swearword; but it calmed down spawn rates where sped up etc. Unfortunately for most the two weeks will be harsh without forming groups together and _learning_ what mobs you actually need etc. I'm now on the ops part of the progression and it's a lot more fun than the first rung. The only bugs for me are QT not working, the problems with getting cluster ganked etc are not really biowares' fault; people _choose_ how to behave.

Any reports on the slideshow/jerky motion/stutter with new shadows we saw on test ? If I still have it I'll be gutted. System i7 @4ghz 32gb ddr3 ssd 230gig drive gtx 680 It is not a problem with my system I can promise you that.

Whatever synthetic that was used to guess at mods for endgame gear had a Friday afternoon when you did black hole sentinel gear, it is plainly and simply WRONG, instead most PVE sents have to buy guardian DPS spec and strip it, (because we can't use heavy armor dah)and put into to the Rakata gear they already have; I say most because their are a few that don't bother to check how their DPS is doing and think a start up robe with a pair of Ewock snow skis stuck on the shoulders actually looks good, fould looking armour and worse yet bad stats. So to be effective we have to spend on the armour it's self and then spend around 90k pulling the correct mods out of someone elses armor. And i don't believe the "testing" to me the stats are uprated tioneese which work at that level but cease to be effective past 58, and could you please at least try to make higher end gear look like it's higher end? needed to get that off my chest

Well I have to say, your totally on the money with that set up for most sent trees including watchman the blackhole gear is almost as badley speced as it is to look at for sentinel. I've gone pretty much the same route as yourself and do well from it.

I would like to see, BAGS / PACKS for use in your inventory they could cost the same or a little more than inv slot upgrades, but would make things so much tidier, packs for crafting stuff, pack for pvp/pve armour with say 16 slots in each or whatever you want to put in them. cheers.
