  1. I lost a match the other day 999 to 1000.
  2. Eric: is our RNG working correctly? I'm really sorry to ask such a silly question, but- Dev: of course it's working correctly, that is one of the easiest things to code. People just need a better grasp of statistics and probability. Eric: I know, right? Sorry to waste your time.
  3. This is the first 'must have' for me I've come across in the game. I simply. Must. Have it.
  4. I think I can answer that. If you're talking about simply adding modulation to a small handful of helmets, then while it certainly would still take a heck of a lot more time than 5 minutes, it should be fairly quick and easy. But consider that some of these helmets mentioned have been in game less than 24 hours. If you're talking about ensuring every helmet in game has the proper modulation and also implementing a toggle switch, then yes, yes it would take substantially longer than 5 minutes. Try multiplying that number by a few hundred at least.
  5. And surprise of surprises, the OP hasn't been back. Just a highly visible scam warning, that was just as highly false and ignorant. What a piece of trash.
  6. Normally I'm with you all the way. I think you and I share very similar opinions about the nature of the player base. But I don't agree here, and I do believe this to be something of a quality issue. The simple act of putting a piece of paper against your face will change how your voice sounds. A helmet of any kind that covers the mouth will do the same. And there is no reason to believe that even Mandalore's helmet was so well made his voice issued from it unaltered. Impossible, and not at all in line with what we see in the movies. Boba Fett's voice is obviously modulated, and he lived thousands of years after Mandalore. Star Wars tech has never been presented as being that advanced at all. To me this is fairly common sense. Every helmet that covers your mouth (without exception) should make you sound different. A toggle idea is cool for those who want the choice, however. But to call BioWare lazy over this is just idiotic. Do you think the developers are sitting around on couches, knowing this should get fixed, but they just can't muster the desire? Or do you think that every employee's workday is absolutely packed with work to do, and they simply have to prioritize? If you honestly think it is the former scenario, then I feel sorry for you. Edit: only the first two paragraphs were directed at you, Andryah.
  7. No, that's not a better question in a thread intended to discuss the graphical changes.
  8. Interesting article, thanks. And I also love the changes. The games looks better than ever.
  9. Please stop asking BioWare to update the damn CE vendor. It's been updated, you have your exclusive in game and out of game items, so that's it. Do you expect them to keep updating it until the end of time? You yourself admit there is another thread on this, frankly pointless, subject. Do you think a new thread is going to help? Please stop pestering the company until they throw you a bone in the hopes of shutting you up, because that's what it is. They don't want to keep thinking about this damn vendor when they have so much else on their plate, and neither do the majority of players. You recieved exactly what was advertised almost 2 years ago when the CE was announced. It is a done deal. Any time spent on the CE vendor now is money out of BioWare's pocket with no hope of any sort of return. Unless a bunch of players decide to unsubscribe over the CE vendor, it would frankly be a bad business move to continue to work on this. Please let it go.
  10. This reminds me of something I've recently heard. "99 little bugs in the code, 99 little bugs. Take one down, patch it around, 116 little bugs in the code."
  11. It's funny, the OP is exactly the sort of crap that I would expect to flood the forums if F2P players were allowed to post. Nonsensical, highly uneducated writing, complaining about something that should not be complained about in the first place, all by a terrible player in the first place.
  12. And no F2P player is going to offer up some enlightening insight to BioWare about the game that hasn't been brought up already by the subscribers. So what's the point? So they can get free tech support and service for their free game?
  13. BioWare's stance is obviously the correct one. Any additional forum moderation, anti-spam tech, etc, will cost the company money, manpower, and time. F2P players do not contribute, or contribute an insignificant amount comparatively, to BioWare's bottom line. So why again should BioWare spend a dime on them? This game didn't go F2P because the company thought it would be great if everyone has the chance to play their phenomenally expensive game to build and maintain, for free. They did it to draw in as many people as possible in the hopes that they would enjoy the game and end up subbing. If they want the opportunity to have their voices heard, they must pay for the privilege. This is business, and business is driven solely by money, rightfully so. If you're not a paying customer, no company or business is going to care what you have to say, especially when it's paying customers offer more than enough feedback.
  14. I really wish BioWare would stop announcing things ahead of time. I really wish there was less communication, for this exact reason. I wish I could use the community forums for a game I love without being convinced that the majority of the player base is trash. Anyone who is legitimately upset about this is a piece of **** who seriously needs to get their priorities in order.
  15. This happened last night. I completed Corso's companion mission to rescuer an old ally from the hands of cannibals. Back on the ship Corso was wondering what could bring people to cannibalism. My smuggler's response was that if the ship's crew is forced into cannibabilism, he gets dibs on Risha. Corso said, "Captain, that's horrible! But you'll save me a piece, right?" Probably the funniest response I've had yet. I can see some women not being enamoured of Corso's overly chivalristic ways, but as far as a guy is concerned, there's no better buddy than Corso.
