  1. That's a feature that isn't really implemented with any headgear, and I'd have some doubts that it even could be implemented, but the wig concept itself is a good one (and to be clear, if something like this could be implemented, and even retroactively applied to stuff like the Enforcer's Eyeguard, I'd be all for that too).
  2. They should have her take the place of Shae as a promo companion after Old Wounds, since
  3. As title. Upgraded a Rakata blaster on my Scoundrel all the way to 344, equipped it, and my damage is now lower, at least in the display, because the weapon damage registering as "0-0". Is this just a glitch in the display (possibly because I have a different outfit weapon 'cause the Rakata one is ugly)? I don't have any of the various plugins to actually check my damage so I don't know if there's a way to check.
  4. Conceptually, I really love the Combat/Carnage spec. In practice, it feels like kind of a dud to play though. The 3% Alacrity boost is meaningless unless you gear specifically around it, and that also means using gear differently than any other specs you might alternate between. And that's not even getting into how pointless it is while leveling. To that end, I've been thinking/wondering if it would really be "too" strong if Ataru Form were just straight-up buffed to be a flat -0.1 second reduction to GCD/-1 second (or what have you) reduction to ability cooldowns applied after any bonuses from the Alacrity stat. Similarly, change Zen to give a flat -0.4 seconds or the like, so no matter what sorts of gear or bonuses or stats you have, playing Combat spec always makes you speedier. Doing something similar with Arsenal/Gunnery would also feel nice. And in both cases, it'd give these specs more parity with others in the sense that they wouldn't have to have completely different gearing priorities in an environment where those are otherwise relatively standardized to allow for versatility.
  5. I'd been wondering about this myself. Is it just going to be the same objectives again? Hopefully they'll at least reset in that case. Or maybe the Week 4 objectives actually start tomorrow and the dates are miswritten? Regardless, it'd be nice to know.
  6. Broadsword y'all ain't exactly lookin' good on your first try at this.
  7. That...almost worked. At first it just cut out the noises, so I thought it was still stuck, but suddenly the select screen did pop up! However, the game still would hang on the splash screen, particularly after using QT, and when I logged out to switch characters, it got stuck again. Even alt+f4 didn't work at that point, I had to sign out of Windows and back in. It's a step in the right direction, but not quite a solution...
  8. So for some reason, my game has decided to stop loading. It was fine this morning, but this evening, when I try to get logged in, I get through the launcher, things start up, and then the little hang mouse droid-noises that it's been doing since the latest update...just continues to lock me out, with the SFX playing endlessly. It never gets past the splash screen and into the character select, and weirdly, if I alt tab to it, it forces itself on top. I can alt+f4 to close the game, or ctrl+alt+del to break out of things, but in the latter case, even the task manager launches "behind" the game. I've also tried launching other stuff and only SWTOR seems to have this issue. My only guess is that Nvidia did a graphics driver update earlier tonight (which my system won't let me roll back), but since nothing else has issues, I'm not sure... Anyone else encountered this bizarre bug and know how to fix it?
  9. Maybe it's just me? I doubt it's just me. Every time I log in, first thing I hear before the character select screen loads up are SEC-M noises. It actually feels weirdly appropriate, for some reason.
  10. I'll be frank, I don't see how stuff amounts to nickel-and-diming for long-time, richer players that can re-earn a couple thousand credits in maybe a few seconds, but makes it harder for newer players to build in-game wealth in the first place, is supposed to help "especially new players" "engage in our trade economy". Seems like it'd do the opposite. I'm fine with the changes, in part because screw it, I am a long time player and this won't even be noticeable to me, but I feel like a better way to combat the real credit reserves would be to raise the cap on GTN sales while also increasing its cut.
  11. I'm "lucky" 'cause I mostly figured I'd be leveling up a new character this weekend anyway. But it's not surprising, given they were taken down after most of the devs probably left for the weekend anyway. The thing you better cross your fingers for, more, is that they don't do a rollback (though that's also doubtful, thank goodness(?)).
  12. What would be the thought on something like a once-per-character-per-week auto-complete or auto-advance option? This could maybe allow content without meaningful decisions (EoO, SoV) to get the catch-up treatment without presumably allowing for too significant exploitation, and could also maybe fix certain backlog missions like allowing completion of the final Shroud mission or Oricon as well.
  13. What's your item rating when you speak to them? You have to already have some pretty potent gear or they'll just tell you to come back later. Not sure what the minimum is, precisely; talking to them with all 320 gear wasn't sufficient, but going back in 326s + 330 Legendaries was.
