  1. Hah, wasn't sure anyone would respond quickly. I remember your name as well! I have toons on Satele Shan and Star Forge, though my most developed toon is Blackpool on Shan. Hope all is well!
  2. Is anyone still playing? I recently subbed and am playing on Satele Shan. It was very nostalgic to re-read this entire thread.
  3. I got into this for Star Wars. Registered in 2008 and waited in excitement since then. Played hardcore for hours each night. Then something in me just lost interest. I was the guild leader of a large guild. Servers went dead, friends unsubscribed, classes began getting nerfed due to reactionary forum people. Seemed we were losing features. And then a chance to gain something cool, mixed abilities for pvp...but it was not to be. 1.2, the biggest thing since sliced bread. Not for pvp. Ilum still broken. 4 repetitive warzones, no ranked warzones, no transfer options. I get it if this is exciting for others. We're all on a path but in different timelines. When my friends began to quit a few months back, I didn't imagine it would be me 2 months later. I just don't see anything with enough lasting attraction to keep me. Tera could bore me after a month, that's certainly a reality. But for me, continuing to play while burnt out is like writing 100 beautiful poems and then throwing them into the fireplace unmemorized. Maybe another time, another place.
  4. Legacy is a grindfest if there ever was one. Tera may not last but it's a rebound off this. I LOVED this game. but it started to go downhill with reactionary nerfs. Nerfs before I could even finish levelling the class that was being nerfed. The idea of mixing abilities from different classes is GREAT...except it's for stupid Heroic Moment on 20 min cooldown and oh yeah, gotta level all those classes and then grind credits. Grind Grind Grind. Dead servers. My guild of 500 toons reduced to like 25 active. I don't regret the 4 months I played this game. I would regret if I kept going though because the little shiny objects they throw us now wear off in a week and then it's still the same thing. Mixing abilities had potential like vanilla SWG where you could mix and master professions...but that opportunity was blown.
  5. Yup, when free transfers are offered, AP (already a heavy pop server) is going to be even more active for PvP. Info at pathofdestruction.guildlaunch.com
  6. Hey Qetra, I was wondering about you. Glad to hear you guys are doing well there. Honest report about Kinrath: I've got a Valor 61 Battlemaster Merc. Totally happy with the pvp pwnage on the toon. Not that happy about the large volume of Sith fail in WZs, but there are a core of great Sith pvpers who do WZs. I enjoy the Brazilians because they are tough, organized and geared opponents. It feels like I'm fighting a "known" enemy, like Lakers vs. Celtics, Dodgers vs. Yankees, Raiders vs. Broncos, etc. I started a Republic guild on Ajunta Pall RP PVP server for guildees who want the other side. (I plan to use all 8 slots on Kinrath for 8 Sith classes.) Ajunta Pall is a heavy, good ratio server. Still loving the game.
  7. Naw, the server rocks man. Most servers have an Imperial to Republic imbalance. I like the Brazilian Republic crew. They are well geared, well organized, and the kind of rivalry you rise to the occasion to want to fight against.
  8. Not being able to talk to the other faction, or have server forums hampers server community, and thus world pvp. The missing elements listed above is part of what made SWG Tarq so awesome.
  9. Yup, it's not a concern. I like keeping my gameplay options open. Though I rarely world pvp, because SWTOR world pvp is not like the awesomeness of SWG world pvp, I like to know I can do it on demand if I feel like it. Love the warzones.
  10. Thanks, so BM bags still give BM gear and Champ Comms.
