  1. I've said this before this post and said it after I read the stats playing against and with a gunship that it is ridiculously overpowered. What has ruined GSF for me is how it is used as a sniper. When I see the words Star Wars and Starfighter I see what is in the movies and I do not recall seeing a small one to two man fighter being able to stop mid-flight to pick people off during dogfights. I dont see sniping and if I wanted to deal with that crap, there are games called Battlefield 4 and CoD: Ghosts that is flooded with people wanting to camp and snipe. I came back to SWTOR in hope to play GSF without that and what do I see? This is what completely killed my desire to continue playing: Had a guy on my team and sat above B pretty much. I had 6 assists because everyone I did see and was in the process of killing...was picked off by a guy that had over 20 kills. I could not go anywhere on the map without any opposition being taken out before I could get close to do anything. Seriously with people being able to do that just by sitting there, it takes away the fun from the whole thing. Because of the gunship....Galactic Starfighter IS NO LONGER FUN TO PLAY!!! I would be fine if it was completely removed period. I guess I will now have to wait for the other Free to Play Star Wars starfighter based game Disney is working on.
  2. I personally think that an app that would allow us to select one of our characters on a server, then select a companion and what I want to do with them would be a lot more helpful and useful than a worthless app for Mass Effect 3 that boosted our galactic readiness level 1-3% over the course of a few hours. For the high level missions and crafting, that can take up to an hour or more to complete and we might not be home at the time to get another one started and done before we get back home. Maybe I work with friends that play and I could show what I can make in which if he wanted something I can start gathering and have what he wants completed and done and sent when I get online and such. Thoughts?
  3. I am perfectly ok with a gunship having superior amount of firepower and defense against other ships but the railgun needs to be removed or changed in such a way to make a game more balanced. To the point where it eliminates camping. I wanted to play Galactic Starfighter to fly around and see how I fare against others in an actual dogfight. If I want to play a game with camping snipers, I will go back to Call of Duty. Seriously it honestly is not fair to me or other players that want to actually enjoy this and do objectives and win to be sniped by a bunch of cowards with little to no skill to be able to deal one shot kills with more than double or up to triple the range of any other weapon for any other starfighter. Basically me and anyone else that likes to pilot strike or scout fighters has to get within 7000m and stay within that range to fire a single missile that deals 800-1000 damage. But the gunship people can sit as far back as 15000m charge up and just pick us off with no way to really evade or dodge the shots or even know we are being locked on? It is not like the gunship has any real disadvantages to the other fighters, they can move just as well as a strike fighter as far as maneuvering but are a little slower. My suggestions is to either force the ship to be moving, have a much longer recharge time based on charge up time, or reduce its power and or range.
