  1. Not gonna leave a long drawn out list of complaints, they have all been said better by others. Really I was willing to overlook almost all issues but the only reason I play MMO's is for the community and no server forums killed that. I guess a star wars mmo in my lifetime just isn't ment to be. Good luck to all of you that stick it out hope you find something to enjoy.
  2. They won't give server forums because it would show just how dead some of the servers are.
  3. OP is right, everyone else just mad at hard truths. They should just drop Repub and let empire play against each other in all 3 warzones.
  4. You basically went into detail every issue I have had with the game, well done OP. 11/10 would read again.
  5. Cannot enter ship, just frozen with a golden chat box, tried logging does nothing, its not just me.....
  6. Holy crap why does this thread have 74 pages...? What a waste, if you people would get half was worked up about screwing us on server forums maybe something would have been done about it.
  7. It's true, I have ran about 5 alts through korriban alone and each time even doing the heroics you get exactly 7 badges, 6 from missions and one random drop. Doing every single quest on the planet. Yet I roll my first republic alt the other day and I had about 12 badges by the time I left. Although I guess its a small thing to complain about considering all the other advantages Imps have.
  8. You should hire this guy to balance your game BW he clearly is a font of knowledge.
  9. They already said all legacy does is give you abilities earlier and little ****** perks to make leveling alts faster. If you are expecting to play a wookie then prepare for disappointment.
  10. I haven't fully researched this but I was playing under the general assumption that progress in this game worked like it did in most previous mmo's. You leveled > hit 50 > instances + crafting > 8 man raid > 16 man raid. With each tier giving better gear and having the more fulfilling/complex boss fights. However a conversation in my guild chat today seems to turn that idea on its head. It started off innocently asking about the new flashpoint and what level gear it was. I hadn't looked into it and didn't know if it was a level 50 instance or a lower level one. That segued into talking about raiding and flashpoints. What i got from my guild is that hard mode 4 man flashpoints (instances from wow) gave the same gear that you got in 8/16 raids. This was rather shocking to me, how can you have the exact same gear drops from a 4 man pugable instance as you get from an 8 or 16 man group downing much larger content? If this is the case why would you even do a raid? Why go with 16 other players increasing the risk/reward and lowering the chance for loot coming to you if you can do it with any 4 players and have a much higher chance at landing gear for yourself and easier content to boot? I hope this was just explained or misunderstood because as it was explained to me it really derails any point of high level content. Thanks for anyone who can clear this up for me.
  11. This item in question , http://www.torhead.com/item/dbjKkbO It is a random world drop purple lightsaber, I got one, but noticed unlike the linked item it didn't have a hilt slot, just mod, enhance and color crystal. Are there different versions of items? Someone in game said that purple lightsabers have built in hilts that automatically upgrade, this sounded kind of fishy to me though. Its such a sweet looking item but without a hilt slot seems like its pointless to use past the teens. Can anyone shed some light onto this?
  12. I have no problems when I am solo but when I enter pvp or the fleet my fps drops to 10 or below, it makes it much more difficult to compete. A large part of it is my computer I know that but atm I can't afford to upgrade, so I have been researching trying to find ways to improve it. I saw one post on here somewhere where someone claimed that lowering their ingame resolution helped a lot. I hadn't really thought of that before I just always set it to the highest possible setting. I have a 24inch widescreen monitor and have always had it set at 1920x1080, in game the same. But then I went ingame and asked my guild about it (I always like to get information from multiple sources before I make any changes to my computer). And I kind of started a war, one guy was claiming lowering my res would actually hurt my fps and make my gpu work harder? Then another one said that was junk but neither one could back it up with any facts. Would love to hear some insight on this, would lowering my res make a difference? If so what is the lowest acceptable res that still makes the game enjoyable but gives the most performance boost? They were also saying that I had to keep my res ingame to the native res of my monitor but honestly I'm not quite sure what that means. Thanks for any advice.
