Yeah, I bet it's the "skank tanks." What an idiotic design. And according to google, this has been going on for over a year? Then again if Anthem fails Bioware is done, so I doubt there's any time going into this game. I'm the opposite from you. I play a month, then quit. Launch, a year or so after, and now. Doubt I'll bother coming back. Nothing more to say I guess.

I recently came back after several years off. Wanted to finally try the new Eternal Throne storyline, but TBH I got bored and never bothered. Cancelled my sub after maybe a week. Runs out in a few days. While there have been many improvements since I last played, that's not really saying much. One of the big 'fails' is the absurdity of some of these PvP builds. Tell me why there are builds that can simultaneously do as much DPS as a damage focused class, while also tanking as well as a tank focused class? Why does it take 3 players focusing on one to finally isolate and kill that player, who is also doing damage build level DPS? Lemme guess -- I just gotta 'get gud?'

Just had to do a clean install from disk. The launcher won't update. Any links to fix the launcher I've seen on this site are broken. How am I supposed to play the game?

Recently returned after probably a year away, after buying the $40 2-month, ROTHC/Revan dlcs. Rolled a new toon (Sage healer), so this is the first time I'm playing beyond lvl 50. QUESTION: what the heck is the proper order of quests, storyline, dlc, etc ????? It seems like I'm hit w/ quests from all directions, no semblance of order, and certain quest-giver-cutscenes reference stuff that (I assume) I'm already to have done in another post-50 quest? Observations: 1. the Consular storyline was by far the weakest and least engaging of those I've played so far (BH at launch, then Knight, Sith Lord, Smuggler a year or so ago. I liked BH and Smuggler the best, Sith Lord was fun, Knight and Consular kinda weak in execution) 2. I was only able to get 3 group queues to pop my entire leveling time. Currently lvl 55. Most distressing, I never got Battle of Illum or False Emperor, I wanted to re-play for old-time's sake. I tried queuing at all different days/times. Really hard to think the game population isn't hurting, that a Healer can't even get a group to pop over a week or two of queuing. Even PvP would only pop at certain times. 3. Thought about playing some of my old toons, but looking at the new skills and utility tree, it felt too overwhelming, so said to hell with it. Probably my own fault though, as I'm not good at switching back and forth like that. 4. that 'Dread Seed' scanning mission sucks.

Then received an email that said I was sub'd, and would be billed if I didn't cancel... which I cannot do via the method the official TOR email describes. That is, at least in part, on TOR. It sounds like I'll have to remove payment methods, then. I'm not even in the mood to play right now anyhow. Probably won't be til after Xmas, at the soonest. So this 6 days free, which gives me nothing I didn't already have, really isn't helpful anyhow.

So I'm a bitter $150 CE sucker, quit after the first free 30 days (launch), then after a 3 month stint around last Xmas. Came back for a while for F2P, but never subbed again or bought ROTHC. Have 5 lvl 50's. Rarely play anymore. A couple times here and there, I thought about re-subbing. When they had that offer for ROTHC fee with a sub. But the wording etc. was ambiguous, so I didn't get it. (did I have to stay sub'd to keep accessing it, for example? People on in-game chat claimed you would) Just the other day, I saw here, about some offer, 30 extra free days, for former subbers, who return. But I didn't get that email. And it says nothing on the site about it. Again, ambiguous. So again, I refuse to sub. Then today on the TOR FB page, some dude posted a link. Curious, I clicked it... and it sent me to the TOR "friend referral" page... and apparently, I'm now sub'd! But it's only for 6 days. And no access to ROTHC? Yet other limits (apparently leveling, bank limit, etc) are lifted. What's more, I see no way to cancel this 'sub.' The directions in the email (My Account > Subscriptions) does not list "Cancel My Subscription" despite what the email says, which means I'll get automatically billed in 6 days if I don't cancel! So I'm automatically sub'd, but can't access any +50 content anyhow, and worse of all, I'll probably be billed in 6 days? Bravo TOR!
