  1. I already made a thread about this. I looked at all other AC trees and this is the only example where one skill depends on another that has absolutely nothing in common. It looks like some misplaced skill, an error that should be solved. I would really like to see devs explanation for this skill placement.
  2. You are taking games too seriously and I don't agree with that definition. But, if that’s how you see them, then I can understand your point of view. You consider gaming more like some kind of job, a hard work to make profit.
  3. True. There are different kinds of footsteps sounds too! Metal footsteps sound, carpet footsteps sound, marble footsteps sound... Very nice.
  4. I like saved specs. More specs = more options. I like having more options to play the game. We need a healer? No problem, I can help with that. Dps? Sure. Need more CC for pvp? No problem. You want to play raid dps build and be inferior in pvp or have some hybrid build that will gimp you both in pve and pvp? Who's stopping you? But, I am sure you will be using two specs for pvp/pve when dual spec is introduced... You think I should roll an alt just to be able to play competitive pvp? I don't think so. I will roll an alt, but for different reasons. I am, however, against AC respec (different gear, class mechanics...).
  5. Sure, let dps nuke everything without control... Tanks will save the day. They should also stand in fire, because it is healer job to heal, right? Threat meter is for people who don't know how to dps. So either they l2p or give them threat meters.
  6. Why is 'Dark Resilience' prerequisite for 'Fadeout'? It doesn't make sense. 'Dark Resilience' should be replaced with 'Efficacious Currents' or something like that. Why do we need to upgrade 'Consumption' to be able to improve 'Static Barrier'?
  7. 1. I don't think he mentioned Cross-server 2. This people will still exists. Also, look at 1. 3. You think guilds exist just so people could do flashpoints?
  8. Why do you think that without lfd tool it would be different? People will be standing on fleet station spamming lfg in general chat channel. At least with lfd tool they have option to leave fleet station, do other things and still queue for flashpoint. There is already warzone tool. People don't need to be on fleet station when they queue for warzone. Now, imagine there is no warzone tool. How would that work? Do you want Bioware to remove warzone tool?
  9. I don't know... When I use lfg tool (same server) and the group is formed I say 'Hello' to the group. The roles are already set so no need to discuss roles. If someone is not familiar with instance he should ask for help with tactics. If there is need to discuss something (loot roll, tactics, helping or just friendly chatter), then I do that. Some people are more outgoing and chat more, some are not. It's all good. Now, why is not using lfg tool so much better for community? Because of this? - Standing on fleet station all the time… - (general) Lfg Hammer Station - (no response, general chat spam) - (general) Lfg Hammer Station - (whisper) Invite me /invite - (party) Your role? - (party) dps - (party) ok, I’ll heal - (general) Lf2m Hammer station tank/dps - (no response, general chat spam) - (general) Lf2m Hammer station tank/dps - (no response, general chat spam) - (whisper) I can dps /invite - (party) Hello, hello - (general) Lf1m Hammer station tank - (no response, general chat spam) - (general) Lf1m Hammer station tank - (no response, general chat spam) - (general) Lf1m Hammer station tank - (no response, general chat spam) - (whisper) ok, I’ll do it /invite - (Party) Hello - (party) XY, are you coming? - (no response, general chat spam) - (party) XY? - XY has gone offline - (general) Lf1m Hammer station - (no response, general chat spam) - (general) Lf1m Hammer station - (whisper) I will go /invite - (waiting for all players to get together) - Enter flashpoint - The rest is the same as with lfg tool
  10. Well, if Need button is disabled then ninjas won't be able to roll need out of their class. So, next button to press is Need(companion). Hello companion ninjas! The difference is that you won't be able to tell who is ninja and who is not because you can't inspect their companions. Anyway, I fully understand your point. I just want to point out that there are flaws in that mechanic. For honest group need(companion) is good thing.
  11. You can check if player needs that item by inspecting them, so they will be carefull when needing. You can't do that with companions if they are not used. So anyone can just need for companion. That was the point I was trying to make.
  12. Problem with need(companion) button is that you don't know if that person REALLY needs that item for companion. So, soon, the need(companion) button could become greed button. They should just grey the need button for classes that can't use the item.
  13. Those people you talk about will still be wanting specific things from specific classes, even without dual spec. I don't group with them. Dual spec gives people who want to play both roles option to do that. It also helps people to be competitive both in pve and pvp. It is nice thing to have and nobody is forcing you to use it. But, if group has one spot left for healer then tey will be looking for a healer. Also, wow is not the only game with dual spec.
