  1. Agreed, this has been worse since the most recent patch. Before I would only really see this happen on 6-0 huttball wins, now its happening completely randomly on all WZs.
  2. Thank you, but not so much in the sense that someone who wouldnt have before this post, will now interupt my TM at some point im sure! Look, even we mercs don't enjoy spamming tracer missle, but thats how BW decided to build our class. We have to spam it to get debuffs up, and our other skills build off of TM, and others also have cooldowns, where TM does not. Even us mercs would like to see some form of rework where we don't rely on TM 100% cuz it gets boring. But it doesnt need any kind of damage nerf or cooldown, otherwise you basically eliminate 2 classes from the game. I stick up for the Operatives because I think their nerf is uncalled for, and they can lay waste to me pretty easily. But they are 1 trick ponies and have to spend a lot of time finding their lone wolf target and take him/her down. They don't get to consistently pump damage or help the objectives like other classes.
  3. PvP gear isnt a huge deal when your talking a lvl50 vs a lvl50. It's a huge misconception that expertise makes you amazing. Full champ gear gives you about 10% less dmg from players, not hugely significant by any stretch of the imagination.
  4. There is nothing past the purps yet implemented in game. Otherwise all us running the NM Ops would have already seen one. In fact, the itemization in this game is pretty boring. Just Tier sets for classes and thats bout it.
  5. I dont play an operative and never have. For them to lose the 1 decent thing they can do because they take down 1 person quickly in WZs is a dumb balencing idea. They have to spend most of their time stealthing around looking for a solo person with no teammate help. They are not great for any form of teamwork or ball carrying etc, so why nerf the 1 thing they can do? Just cuz of the QQ'rs on the forums.
  6. I'm sure there is some hard cap, but your not stating correctly if you come anywhere close to that. Diminishing returns make it wasteful to keep stacking any 1 stat in favor of another. Most mercs at end game (at least arsenal spec) want right around 35% crit (add 15% crit to tracer missle from 2pc set bonus = 50/50 shot of a crit on tracer). 105% Accuracy 35% crit 70%ish Surge ... then pump power. If your running whatever the equivilant to Pyro is... Power is your #1 priority ahead of crit and surge.
  7. That doesnt solve the problem, BW would still listen to the trolls and QQ'ers when they get beat 1v1 and want nerf sticks. Case in Point: The Operative nerf. I'm a merc if that matters.

  9. All I know is the Operative nerf is dumb and uncalled for (coming from a merc, with no alts). And I hate sorcs, but deal with it.

Just make TM uninteruptable and its game set match, we will be able to win more 1v1s... but again this game shouldnt be balanced around 1v1s or it starts to get way wonky in large pvp and end game PVE... look what happened to WoW when they started balancing around 2v2 arenas... ugh. When we can consistantly double the damage, and kills of any other player, regardless of class, in every single WZ... we don't need more utility, we are doing are jobs already in a group setting, BLOWING STUFF UP! 300-500k dmg every warzone is what you should be hitting as a full pvp geared merc, depending on how dumb the other team is at stacking up for your AoE....yes you will get owned when focused, or even caught 1v1 without help... but thats kinda the point of team play pvp, get some help from someone to get that operative etc off ya, burst em down, and continue pillaging the rest of their team. Also... if your complaining about Ars, go Pyro, you get much more manuverability, the heat management sucks, but everything else is pretty nice. I just prefer playing a turret to blow people up. Off topic, but the operative nerf is totally uncalled for and BW shouldnt have listened to the whiners... yeah they can blow u up in a couple seconds, but they really dont help their teams much in WZs doing so... they are 1 trick ponies.
  12. It's not all about cast times, its about the amount of time the skill takes to refresh too. Since most of her skills are longer than the GCD(1.5s), Alacrity is pretty nice. Honestly guys it's up to the player, do you want her hitting you more times with lower heals, or do you want her hitting you with heals a bit slower, but with bigger numbers? That depends totally on choice and playstyle there IS NO RIGHT ANSWER. Well, maybe there would be if we had logs and parsing, but we don't... so getting down to the nitty gritty theorycrafting doesnt really work. I honestly give her a bit of everything, make her well rounded...if you only stack power, think of all the wasted overheal your getting from her.

I2700k (Overclocked w/ Watercooling) 16GB of Ram 120GB SSD GTX 570 OC'd ... with SWTOR on my SSD, if the game would let me, i could probably run 4 instances of the game without much sweat, my rig destroys this game with a case, mobo etc... your lookin at like $1200ish on that set-up, I suggest waiting on some newegg/tigerdirect deals and buying piece by piece.
