Parts of SWTOR are showing up in the new canon. The aftermath book mentions a gun designed after a Czerka gun. I'm pretty sure Czerka is only from the SWTOR time period right?

I was under the impression that you have to sub all the way til the release date. As in, if you cancel your sub next month, you lose your bonus. So referels shouldn't work for the bonuses.

Galactic Starfighter -Sentry Drones no longer fire missiles or Railguns through geometry if the target breaks line of sight while the ability is charging up. Breaking line of sight resets the charge up time, and causes the drone to pick a different target if it has a clear shot at another enemy. -Galactic Starfighter ship roll rates are no longer slowed at low frame rates. High-end PCs will be unaffected, but players on lower-spec PCs should see a significant increase in roll speed. -The ION Cannon has had its volume reduced. ---------------------------------- The first fix is pretty awesome. I know that's going to make a lot of people's day. The second fix is also nice... I can think of at least one pilot who has this sort of issue. However, I'm a bit confused on the third point. The cannon? Not the railgun? Is this really needed?

It's likely going to be modular like Kuat. Actually, I'm pretty sure they said that somewhere.

I really like Lana Beniko's look. The new GSF map looks amazing. Looks like a lot of detail went into it. Can't wait to try that.

So, there's a few more GSF changes that I don't really think are worthy of a new topic so I'm adding them here. There's a Sensor Dampening nerf that to me is coming out of nowhere. I don't really see the point of that... they don't seem to help much anyways. K-52 Gunships, Comet Breaker and the Dustmaker are getting Thermite Torpedo. That also doesn't make sense to me.

I use interdiction on one of my carriers that's meant to be more of a support bomber. But really, it's easy to tear people apart with them. I use railgun on my "assault" bomber with concussion missiles. It also tears them apart, but I feel the railgun is less useful because people always seem to hunt it down and blow it up.

I like all the characters too. I'm rather surprised at them. Something I'm noticing, though, is that on every damn comment page for this show people are all like "I hope Ahsoka is in this show!!!1!!". From what little I've seen TCW, she really didn't seem that interesting. What's with all the love towards her?

Before 2.6 something like this would have been the "best" build. It was rather perfect for Domination with no bombers. These days there's some other good options you can try that I'm not going to give away in this post. Also, you do know that the IL-5 is the same as the Sting/Flashfire? You could build your IL-5 like above and try a different build for the Sting/Flashfire.

I have heard somewhere that they had trouble with the game engine on deploying foils while in flight, so they scrapped it. Regardless, this is a way for them to add more ship variants. I very much doubt they would want to fix it at this point.

Just a comment on point 4... is there somewhere or a reason why they are ruled out? Have you heard of X-Wing miniatures? It's a great wargame by Fantasy Flight Games. It mostly involves battles between star fighters that you can customize and upgrade, just like GSF. In the expanisions to X-Wing, they introduced the Falcon, Slave-1, and Imperial Shuttlers that are larger than the regular Star Figheters and they fit in quite well. I know X-Wing and GSF are two different things, but because of X-Wing I could see something like the personal ships working in GSF.

I think it's still too early to tell.

Switch your spawn points. There's two points for a reason. I don't "camp" the spawn point on purpose. It's just where the battle leads after a team is wiped a few times. But it really boggles me that people choose the same spawn point over and over again like they expet some sort of different result. Pick the other one and try to sneak around, or find the damage overcharge, or -something- different.

Going off the PTS, which could have changed... It was direct purchase from the Hanger. And viewable without purchase. The gunship that came in the Cartel pack isn't viewable from the Hanger until purchased.
