  1. Once i was that wierdo. Qued up for random HM FP as the sorc healer I am. Got in with a Merc dps, a sniper dps and a tank that i think was a Powertech, but I cant remember exactly. From the beggining I mixed up the icons for class (that is at the portrait) and thought dps merc was tank and vice versa. Dunno why. Maybe because it was a FP i hadnt done in a while and was stressed or something. Anyway i kept healing the dps and wondered why the hell he didnt run first and pull and aggro things. So I started chatting about it. The others where "huh?" But i was so strangely certain of what I said so i kept on trying to get the dps merc to tank and the tank to stay out of trouble since i had to rez him. They were like "w.t.f? Are u stoopid" but i kept chatting away and then i looked at the icons and.... Ooooooooh.... I left the FP out of shame. Probably got ignored by them all...
  2. If only the menu for queuing were more like queuing for FPs and Ops. Bullets for what WZ or Arenas I want to play. Choice is king.
  3. I wish there was independent mouse settings for GS AND that the games camera movement ranged from -50 to +50 instead of 0 to 100.....
  4. Another idea.... should maybe get posted in suggestions, but anyway... How about having the possibility to do some companion specific missions AS THE COMPANION? All Companions seem to have at least one mission outside of the ship in the conversations. Would be fun to actually play that mission. (Or something else, FP maybe?) But not as your ordinary (insert class here) but as the specific companion, with the equipped stuff and so on. Or maybe with some standardized stats. Sort of a minigame as current space system? Maybe affection can be rewarded while in this minigame depending on how you play the companion...
  5. Dont know how that basic notion get lost. I was in Beta and sent in reports over and over again stating that there need to be more options for customization, both at character creation level (4 body types???) and at gear level. They didn't listen.
  6. Isnt "f2p" or "p2w" a stupid reasoning? Does it matter? IMO the question is if EA/BW is passing the line of decency in monetizing SWTOR? Of course its business. Of course SWTOR only will be alive if it draws in money. But there are limits IMO. Compare to Zynga and similar. They have VERY advanced strategys to lure in people to start paying. With smart psycological tools the "p(l)ayers" keep on paying without realising that their fun "skill-based" game isnt a skill-based game (anymore). Now its a money game... (More akin to fraud IMO). Mafia wars, Candy Crush Saga and so on... Read this excelllent article for a more in depth presentation of monetizing games: http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/RaminShokrizade/20130626/194933/ And also watch this talk from Roger Dickey: http://vimeo.com/32161327 Some things that Roger Dickey states as tools for keeping people paying are: Quest unlocks Consumables Premium decoration Territory expansion Identity development Seasonal content Collection compilation Content grab bags and so on. A lot of these things we find on the CM. So: has SWTOR gone from a fun thematic game to a monetized waste of time (and money) mostly directed to casual players with a bad sense of economy? Or is it still a fun (skill-based) game for gamers? Well i Think EA has passed the line. What do you think?
  7. I think i saw one on GTN on The Red Eclipse for 63 000 000 credits.... So its sort of rare.
  8. And luckily EA know nothing about sports like football (am), football(soccer), basketball, golf, baseball, hockey... So we will not have to play a peaceful Huttball (with rules ofc) at least.... or ?
  9. Excellent! Thankyou! It worked. Another great bugfix made by a customer. GJ BW/EA!
  10. Agreed. I want all sorts of restrictions to be binded in mods and not in gear... That way anyone can wear anything, but light, medium and heavy armor-mods have different stats on armor.... and are restricted to different classes. Preferably it would be same way with all other restrictions.... light-dark, imp-republic and so on and so on...
  11. Make all gear orange and without restrictions, put the restrictions in the mods instead, with appropriate numbers on armor and so on.... Why shouldn't I as a Jedi be able to wear that trooper armor and wield a sniper rifle? Sure, i probably wouldn't want to since the barrels (to my knowledge) dont have willpower and so on... but that should be MY choice not some stupid restrictions... All the restrictions should be in mods. Light/Dark, armortype, social, class and so on.. and no more greens and blues at all, just badly modded oranges...
  12. Thats whats I'm doing and now i'm worried that i will ding 55 too soon.... Havent even started on seeker and macrobinocular quests and havent gone to half of the makeb taxi stations yet... And im at 54 1/2...
