  1. LOL! God, memories. I used to heal a lot in WoW, went through what you're going through on a constant basis. I feel you.
  2. .....What exactly is your definition of exploring?
  3. Are extremes your hobby or something? Rumor has it there is a happy medium in here somewhere.
  4. Apparently there are some posts missing cus I had no clue what the hell you were talking about lol
  5. Not everyone plays in groups. I dont. I dont really get the time. By the time I get home from work half the server is off to bed. So while it may be easy for you to bulldoze through with an op of 25, there are those of us who dont have a horde of folks to back us up. Sorry the game is too easy for you.
  6. You say casuals like they are some undeserving scum or something.
  7. I think some of you folks missed the intended humor in the thread. In any case, I read all the posts and giggled like an idiot! Funny stuff guys! Thanks hee hee
  8. My son's first MMO was UO. Hell it was MY first MMO as well. He started about 8 years old and by 9 he was putting together his own websites. My son turned 25 last December. He is currently playing WoW as an avid Rper (until I can get his computer purchased and sent to him, hehe late birthday present) wherein he will join us here in ToR. Needless to say he is almost giggling like a schoolgirl over the idea. His love of RP is also what inspired him to write fiction, which, like mom here, is what he does. I agree about MMO's can teach a lot to kids. It's just up to the parents to mediate. As parents, we should be doing that regardless.
  9. THOUSANDS of PEOPLE are DYING!! SITH are RUNNING RAMPANT, and you want SMILES!? Are you INSANE!? Go back to your carebear land, you wuss! Rawr!! Okay, all kidding aside, to be honest with you, I dont know how their faces would look structurally speaking, if they did smile. Might come out more like some anguished grimace hehe
  10. Heheh, Ill have to check now. My Jedi isnt high enough in level to really have to use CC much yet. Maybe Qyzen feels he needs to stand guard in case lift wears off
  11. There are some things in the game that make me go " On come ON! double yew Tee Eff?!" But not a lot. Not because it's not there, but because I've seen it before. I wasn't there when WoW first launched, I came in a few months later. But it was still buggy as hell. I remember sitting in queues for about an hour an a half just to enter the game itself. I remember the Blackrock server crashing so much that they formed a huge group on the server I played on, Argent Dawn, to protest. Blackrock would crash for days at a time. At the time we AD'ers would be pissed, but now we sorta laugh, BR players had, over time, become the loud party guy neighbor that tends to grow on you. There is one thing that bothers me more about this game than anything, and it's not something Bioware can really fix. It's something we, as the players have to fix. I'm talking about people blocking everyone else out, playing with blinders on and pretty much atrophying any social muscle that's left. I make it a point to acknowledge people, even if sometimes the answer is a no. " Hey, anyone need Fall of the Locust?" " Sorry, I just did it." or " yea. I could use that one! anyone else?" I'm not saying you need to stop an answer every single utterance, but come ON. I see 30 people on a planet, I'm assuming, generously, that half have their general chat turned off. That still leaves 15 people being mindless drones. Frustrating. Edit: wow, they actually edited out the three letters double yew tee eff. That's kinda...sad. lol
