No, it's absolute garbage! As it stands, SWTOR is a dumpster fire as a MMO, but it's phenomenal as a single player game. It should just be converted to that with co-op options. That level capping thing is NOT good. It doesn't matter if you have "max stats for the planet". If I'm level 70 and I want to blow through and one shot everything that's lower level than me, I should be able to, simple as that. The ONLY benefit that level sync has is if you are lower level and you go to a higher level place, it raises your stats so you can actually survive. That's the ONLY benefit, period. Otherwise it's just a massive inconvenience. There's absolutely no benefit to actually BEING max level other than you can do "at level" content. Could you imagine if games like World of Warcraft and FF14 had that same BS level sync system? They'd lose half their player base overnight. HALF! This is literally the ONLY game that dumpster fire mechanic is in, and honestly, it needs to go. And it wouldn't be rare to find world bosses at all. Increase the spawn rate, and make it so you can only receive drops from it once per day, make it soloable, and adjust the fight strength to match. Problem solved. This game has such potential, and Bioware made a LOT of mistakes, level sync being chief among them. Because of those mistakes, the player base is literally a THIRD of what it once was, and more keep leaving every month, every day. Things need to change in this game, or eventually it'll die altogether. And yes, your abilities and stats are nerfed to match your level, CONSIDERABLY. It should not take several hits to drop a lvl 50 mob when I'm lvl 70 with top tier gear. One shot, instant death. If you're lvl 70, you earned the right to kill everything with ease. If you can do it in WoW, you should be able to do it in SWTOR. Period. Level sync needs to go, or be something that can be disabled when you reach max level.
