  1. Here is some feedback to you, the new sets are better than the old in one way. Because they're more balanced to other classes set bonuses. My only concern about newest Dps sets are that they lack imagination, as long as all bonuses are equally good, but not same benefits.
  2. TAC when is your optimal build spec for AP/Tactics changing? you said 3.2 you will have to have a different build setup. does that mean today or later 3.2.X changes?
  3. Kwerty can you help me rotation wise and gearing. I want to beat my guild who is a sentinel he hit over 3,5k. I am mostly 192, but with some bad accuracy enhancement http://gyazo.com/9163861ea63ce0b4a79d33831969a384 this is my second best. 4425 is my best, after min/maxing trying to get best optimised gear I've lost quite a bit of dps. so now I'm down to like 4,3k-4,2k. So I want to know how to get good enough gear (cheapest way) and the rotation to be able to beat him I don't know what more I can do or what I'm doing wrong
  4. Hard to say if I like the changes. If I can't compete with my own vanguard I won't be happy, because scoundrel is such a fun class to play, I will most likely never be a fan of the Dirty fighting aka Ruffian because I don't like that playstyle so much. 10% crit chance to the raid is good, shank shot looks good, blood boiler dmg bonus will make up the loss from upper hand. The best changes overall will be fletched round as a passive and more AOE. Blaster volley is a awesome aoe skill now if used correct, and with 3.0 it will be even better. the weakness of the blaster volley is that it got such a close range so the mobs will need to be stacked quite close and you will have to be in melee range. (unlike vanguard grenade) I don't like the new utillities that's the biggest dissapointment . Which utilitties scrapper will get from Ruffian will be interesting to see Please tell me what scoundrels/operatives think about this update.
  5. Hybrid sorcerer/sage is a pain, I see no reason why they should let people heal in pvp when they're marked as dps. I can't understand why BW didn't fix this before season 2:confused: The times this the worst problem are when both team have 3 dps 1 tank and the other team have 1 hybrid heal/dps and 1 tank 2 dps
  6. I would first say that I stay up late just to read the vanguard answer, now I'm dissapointed. First off, I would prefer to see some improvements to HiB, as it is our "supposed to be highest dps skill" atleast as a assault with 3 point in hib in tactic tree, because we have many points in the tree and it have always been a "key" skill for vanguards. Range 30m a advantage as a tank?? or a dps?? didn't you guys make the dps more melee'ish and the tanking not suppose to be in range too? the only skill I can think of as a range vanguard is HiB and that one need a dot, tactics can't apply a dot in range, tank/assault can but you will have to use hammer shot first and for most tanks hib don't hit like a truck, and it's still not enough for assault because it's like one of 2 range attacks HiB and grenade. When it comes to being a useful vanguard I think the below 30% health more dmg from dots should be either replaced by something else like abit for burst, as that's what we are missing. I will also say that the first question for vangurd PT was not good enough, I saw the answer coming when I read the question... last answer from the developer "and intrinsically more survivability because of that." A tiny bit more burst on one 1 of each top tier tree wont help much for us to be more competitive, I know it's a help in right direction but I wouldn't call that "survivability" Btw I would like to say that the nerf to gut, pulse cannon, and IR will make the buffs to top tier skills less of an uppgrade as there have been some reduction to dots. I sometimes feel that I should have a sentinel as dps or gunslinger for range dps, mostly for pvp as that's where we are lacking dps the most pve it's fine, but we can't kill adds in some cases not fast enough TTK, like we did pre2.0. Last I will say I'm happy to have my vanguard as a tank for Pve and love him so far. I used to be pvp/pve dps pre 2.0 now I don't see the point for doing that, mostly for pvp. Pve it's average good I would say.
  7. Vanguard didn't need a nerf at all! and it got worse.
  8. True thing, sent/maur was even the most popular before they got buffed
  9. what the?? Vanguards already got a burst nerf, ionic accelerator got a 6 second time before each time it can reset hib for free. and the aoe radius on mortar valley got reduced. we need the dps we got for ops, forget pvp more nerfs and we are close to a useless class just like commandos got nerfed too much
  10. for a mix of pve/pvp dps build I would go for something like this : http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#801hMhZMsMZfhMbdGhM.1 frontline offense can be switch for more surviveablity, power armor, static field. that's about it, I've tested full assault, hybrid builds(that really suck after plasme cell change) 9% more aim is quite nice, brutal impact must have for assault. and gut are more useful if u prefer melee fights.
  11. I would say with spec/gear vanguard are a good dps class we have less burst then before the assault nerf, but with changes to commando we are on line with them.. I am a full dps vanguard, don't regret at all. love the class, looking at the numbers we are useful. If u only want to dps I would go sentinel or gunslinger. If u want taunts, heavy armor, harpoon and at same time have good dps go vanguard ( or if u already got one) keep playing him.
  12. It's really funny that bioware done this.. I don't even see how it's possible I was on when everything came back to pre1.2 I was so bussy crafting that I couldn't care less about that half game turned back to pre1.2, but now I have to wait till tomorrow or midnight to be able to play, just ***!
  13. what do you people think about assault dps in 1.2? I've tested both tactics and assault. found quick out assault are still on the top of dps, even with nerfed spike dmg. and overall with the new pve/pvp armor for dps will vanguard be more useful in ops/wz/fp? I wanted to make a thread to see what assault vanguards feel about our dps in 1.2 feels like in general
  14. I will continue playing because I still enjoy the end game / playing with alt. But I won't play swtor when diablo 3,tsw and gw2 is out, but who knows maybe bioware give more exciting updates in future
