  1. What makes you think that your server is a community? Can't people transfer on and off at any point? Can't people sub and unsub at any point? I haven't played in 6 months I just re-subbed and queue with you on Jedi Covenant, does that make me any more a part of the community then a x-server queue that links you up with an uber guild leader on another server? Random groups are random???? This whole we have a server schpiel is getting old, a server is just a random grouping of players, if you want a community join a guild and run stuff with your guild. Some of us are just random ppl transfering about the galaxy and yes we will be in your groups
  2. Please add cross server play!!!!! SW Tor without x-server play is like opening a McDonald's and not having soda. Yeah some ppl drink water but the vast majority want a dam coke, ok that analogy reall sucked, by x-server play doesn't!!! And here's a revolutionary thought, how about a check box during LFG that says "queue x-server"? That way anal server fanboi's can stay local with their harmonious gaggle of lame Jedi and the rest of us can actually play the game... kk? thx bye!
  3. I agree whole-heartedly with the OP, instead of making a decision, a "role-playing" decision, I make a "grind for gear" decision. Sometimes I want to kill people, other times I want to be merciful, that's role-playing, instead I just make the choice that gives me the best chit....
  4. People, understand the OP, it's not an issue of "there's not enough people", "there's no end game", etc etc. The issue is that crafted items aren't worth "USING", and not worth "BUYING"... RIFT end game economy was great. You could buy 4 raid quality slot gear items. They were hard to make, required 48 CD mats, usually around 7, and cost a ton. It was a way to "buy" yourself a few pcs. of raid gear. Also the raid consumables made good money. Each trade skill needs a permanent home at end-game, if crafting is merely a "while you level" stop gap, then that's unfortunate.
  5. Yeah, I didn't like Nar Shadda, something weird about Jedi disguised as rogue criminals, hacking, slicing, blah, blah blah
  6. I wouldn't mind a cross server dungeon tool. I like it in Wow, I like it in Rift, I would like it in SWTOR.
  7. It's so bad people aren't even really using it, I think the deposit prices are too high also.
  8. And while we're at it, why can't I search by slot??? I have to pick Armor --> Light Armor, but I can search by head slot??? Really???
  9. This is exactly my point. There are certain usability features that improve and evolve over time, look at windows vs. OS X, iPhone vs. Android, on and on and on.... We shouldn't "de-volve" usability as an industry. If LOTRO, Rift, WoW, all have nice, searchable, easy to use features, it's not really copying it's just making your software nice for the times and keeping "up to date", something like simple text searching isn't really "copying from wow", it's just like basic usability/compatibility updating.
  10. Oh yeah, totally forgot about slot selection. Finding a helm or earpeace is like a quest, you should get like 10k xp for being able to find one under 30k, frickin greedy launch abusing crafters.........
  11. Yeah sorry, GTN not AH, but I enjoy people defending my right to call it an Auction House if I feel like it. Oh yeah, and also, the fact that half the time you sell something you get a cryptic email like "oh someone just bought your crap", and of course you don't get the money for another hour, REALLY??? I can buy 6 different Synthweave shirts and have them magically appear in my inbox within seconds, but a simple electronic funds transfer takes a fricking hour??? Is Wells Fargo in 1985 really have better technology than the old republic?? Why don't they just use whatever magically transporters they have to send me shirts instantly used to just put my credits in a nice lockbox and send them to me instantly FFS. And then half the time the system doesn't even tell you what you sold, it just randomly emails you money... it's pretty hilariously bad actually.
  12. Ok so this subcategory/category filter first crap really grinds on me. Just let me open the AH and type in a word for crying out loud. While we're at it, Rift has you beat with their AH, you can right click anything in your inventory with the AH open and it just "searches" for the item. That's right, no typing, no filtering, just search. Also Rift has you beat on posting items, it automatically keeps track of the price you set last time you posted something. SWTOR just magically multiplies the vendor value which surprisingly I find a lot of people just leaving in as the default without even researching prices, because, frankly it's a pain. And while we're at it, I should just be able to right click stack stuff into my bank, why I gotta find the item to stack on???
  13. I completely agree, Athiss was a total joke and a waste of time, here's hoping the level 30+ dungeons have something decent. Hammer Station, Athiss, what a joke...
