  1. Hello Jackie, When I tried downloading the patch, it tried to eat up 25GB of space on my hard disk. However I did not have 25GB of space on the disk it was downloading the patch to, so my disk went to 100% and the launcher stopped working. It did not complete the patch or progress or give any error. Furthermore, when I closed the launcher and relaunched it, the launcher was stuck on the "The launcher is looking for available updates...". It won't even get to the spot where it asks me to log in. It is incredibly messy if a minor patch requires you to have 25GB of free space. Furthermore the launcher didn't even check if there is enough space. It proceeded to write to the disk and fill up the entire disk with no way to recover from it. What is the recommended solution? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the entire game?
  2. Can we get a post on what the Gearing and Class changes are? I checked the sub threads, and there are no information. It will be hard to give feedback if we don't know what we are supposed to test or what is changing. Also I saw a post about a new currency (Systech?), a post on what it is, how you acquire it and how/where you spend it will be useful.
  3. Do you feel your group was able to progress in power through the Operation? Yes as we geared up, the group as a whole gained power. Do you think improvements could be made to make it easier to progress as a group? If so, what do these improvements look like? Yes, I think the order of difficulty for the bosses are in the wrong order. Most groups are struggling on first boss but have Watchdog/Kannoth on farm. As a result most teams are trying to acquire locks then killing Watchdog/Kannoth to gear up. I think it would have been better if Watchdog was the first boss, Kannoth second, IP-CPT as third boss and Lady Dominique as last. To target Progression on every Kill, each boss drops a general R-4 token that can be used to purchase and upgrade Hazardous gear. This secondary gear set lets you make smaller power improvements while working to complete your set of Virulent Gear. Did you want to upgrade your Hazardous gear? Sure How quickly were you able to upgrade your Hazardous gear? Fairly quickly as we were able to farm WD and Kannoth. Was Hazardous gear helpful in completing The R-4 Anomaly? Somewhat helpful. The R-4 Anomaly came with 12 new sets of vanity armor, purchasable with Story and Veteran R-4 tokens. Story tokens can be used to purchase 4 sets of armor and Veteran tokens can be used to purchase 8 sets of armor. Do you like the look of these armor sets? Did you attempt to clear The R-4 Anomaly to earn these armor sets? Is there anything you’d like to see from future Operations armors? I personally didn't look too closely at these armor sets as I have no intention of wasting tokens on vanity armor sets. It would have been nice if these vanity armor sets dropped from the boss as extra loot, just like decos. The R-4 Anomaly also came with a new mount, the Wings of Nihrot. This mount has a small chance to be rewarded when defeating Lord Kanoth. Do you like the look of this mount? Did you attempt to clear The R-4 Anomaly to earn this mount? Is there anything you’d like to see from future Operations mounts? The mount is okay, but the drop rate is ridiculously low. I've killed Kannoth like 20-30 times and haven't even seen it drop. I've heard similar things from many of the people I've raided with. It would be nice to see the drop rate go up to like 10-20%
  4. I don't understand why TTT tactical is being touched for Hatred Assassin. I see a lot of comments about 'degenerate' gameplay of using Saber Strike for maximizing dps. This is just simply not true. Hatred rotation is a 12 GCD rotation and only 2-3 of that is Saber Strike. 2 if you can get a Phantom Stride + Assassinate in, 3 otherwise. This is very similar to other classes. Lightning sorc casts 3x Lightning bolt in a row, Madness sorc casts 3xForce Lightning. Both Arsenal and Pyro PT have to use basic attack to keep their heat in check. This change will introduce more force management as well as throw the timing of Recklessness off. That will in turn allow our buffs to fall of, causing the damage to severely drop. Hatred mostly catches up in dps in sub 30%. Prior to that, we are barely keeping up with the rest of the specs and are somewhere in the middle at best. It's a melee dot class with the least amount of utility, and definitely feels paper thin.
  5. These all look like good changes! Thanks for listening!
  6. Unless the number of mats needed to craft a CM-1337 is changed, crafting gold augments will become even harder. Currently, you need 7 OEM and 14 RPM to craft a CM-1337 for a total of 21 mats. If each mat cost 5K Tech frags, with no other way of getting it, you ware looking at a cost of 105K Tech frags to craft ONE augment. It would take upwards of 52 Story mode operations to craft one augment. Sure you can get lucky and crit, but I would imagine you would need to craft 8-10 CM-1337 to get a full set of 14 augments. We are looking at a ridiculous amount of tech frags for augments. I would say, somewhere in the range of 20K-30K tech frags would be a reasonable amount to craft one CM-1337. Currently running NiM OPs I can pick up 1-2 OEM per week. I can then sell the spare ones to buy RPMs. Meaning, I am not spending too much tech frags.
  7. I don't have any Rakata 320 on me currently and can't check. Can someone confirm if the Alacrity and Accuracy pieces also have 499 stats on these? Currently one of the discrepencies in Rakata gear is that the 'right' side pieces with crit stats give less tertiary stats then the alacrity/accuracy pieces. Has that been fixed or are the tertiary stat distributions still different between crit and alac/accuracy?
  8. I opened up 3 Tionese gear crates (from completing 3 group finder SM OP). Two of them gave me loot with an upgrade, but the third crate was empty and didn't drop anything. I had made sure that I had a loot discipline selected before opening crate. I don't know if this matters, but this was after I had turned my shadow into an assassin and chose sorceror as my second discipline. I went into loot discipline and all 6 discipline were there, and I made sure to select Darkness before opening all 3 crates. This was on Feb 17th after all the patches.
  9. I can also confirm this. I got a crate from completing Alderaan Heroic and when I opened the crate, nothing dropped.
  10. If you just go do some Heroics and Conquest on a few toons, you can get anywhere from 20-50 Million a week. Put in some time, and it's easy to earn credits in this game. Hint, if you are bored one day, go to Onderon with any gathering skills, and gather crafting mats for an hour. You will be able to sell all of it on the GTN for 10-20 million easy. Put in a little effort and time and you will realize how easy it is to earn credits in this game. By the way, people seem to be forgetting that as soon as you hit level 76+, all your set bonuses also become useless. Most people will just vendor/deconstruct/destroy all their gear. The set pieces cost a LOT more then just a single tactical. No one is complaining about that. The same thing happens every expansion, expect all old stuff to become useless. We are lucky that we are even getting 100 credits. They could have just disabled the Tacticals altogether.
  11. That's how most MMORPG works bud. Usually there is an expansion cycle of 2 years, after which the level cap increases and gear cap increases. It gives a sense of progression for your character. Otherwise these games wouldn't last for 10 years if you never progressed your gear. On a separate note, wasn't the weapon outfitter originally supposed to come out with 6.1? I remember when 6.0 was launching, they said in one of their livestreams that weapon outfitter was planned and would come a little bit later. That it wasn't going to be with 6.0 but will be here 'soon'. Now we are one expansion in, and we are still not getting it. I wouldn't be surprised if this feature is forgotten once again until 8.0.
  12. From what I could tell (and someone correct me, if I'm wrong), but the main method of gearing is going to be through Weekly quests. For example you have a Weekly for TFB SM that gives a Tionese Loot box, one mission for TFB Vet that gives a Columi Loot Box and a mission for Weekly for TFB Master mode that gives Rakata Loot box. Similarly you have a Weekly mission for completing 2xMaster Mode Flashpoints (might have been 3) that gives a loot box (a blue quality) and a Weekly for Veteran Flashpoint that also gives a lootbox (green quality). The Veteran Flashpoint mentioned that this weekly could be completed 3 times per week. I did not find the same text on any of the operation or Master Mode flashpoint weekly. So I'm not sure if all missions can be completed 3 times, or just the veteran flashpoint mission. Similarly there are weeklies for unranked PvP, solo ranked and group ranked. The Lootbox description states that it will give you an item based on your lowest item rating gear. So I imagine, that if you complete the Weekly 3 times on one toon and one time Master Mode weekly. That's four piece of gear on one character in one week, just from the missions. This excludes any gear that may drop from the bosses. Repeat this process on 3 toons and you have a full set of gear in one week. The implants that have the 'set bonus' comes from a mission, so you won't be farming for those. You simply pick up the mission and go about doing your thing. From the tasks, you should be able to complete the implant mission in one week. Unsure if you can do the mission more than once per week. I didn't get a chance to check the Heroic quests, but I imagine that there are gears tied to Heroic quests or planetary weeklies most likely, and I would imagine it works the same way. Meaning, if you do a mix of Flashpoints and Heroics, you will be well on your way to gearing up in about a week or two. I will check on the Heroic missions later on when I get a chance to check on the PTS.
  13. Could we get more details on this? I logged into the PTS and am seeing the same gearing vendor with 318 gear. Was there suppose to be a quest for upgrading gear? I saw the Weekly Operation missions, Flashpoint/Uprising missions and Weekly PvP missions. Are these supposed to be the main method of gear acquisition?
  14. I went to Lonndar Eadwinn, the guy labeled as <Implant Researcher>, but nothing happened once the conversation happened. I was a Jedi Knight/Shadow. I am assuming this is the guy that's supposed to give us the Legendary Implants with the set bonus? Without the set bonus it is hard to get a full picture of Shadow/Assassin as it has the potential to change the playstyle. Also could we please get access to the conquest/flashpoint/operation gear for just credits? Without access to these, we still can't figure out the 'feel' for our character.
  15. I was definitely expecting a delay, based on the state of the PTS. However I was expecting a 2-4 weeks delay. 2 whole months is a LOT. That's like a different quarter altogether. The announcement for the release was made only last month, the devs must have known how far behind they were right..? I mean a 2 month delay doesn't just sneak up on you.
