  1. The OP seems to know how to play, so in his case I highly doubt this would occur. Were he oblivious this would almost be guaranteed to happen
  2. Don''t worry about it, we all had to do the OPS for the first time and I wasn't the only one that was "faking it" and we still made it through. As long as you have some situational awareness the game gives plenty of cues of what's about to happen and when in doubt copy what the other dps are doing
  3. I understand your frustration and hopefully this tip I share with you will help When I first started doing OPS 4 years ago I learned very quickly to not tell anyone I was new. You sound as though you know your class well so you shouldn't have any difficulty in completing the OP. If people ask if you know the fights just say yes and I'm sure you will do fine. It worked for me and I'm a healer. I went into OPS not having watched any videos or reading any guides and no one ever knew that it was my first run. My advice, just give it a shot! Best of luck and happy gaming
  4. In reply to the OP: If there were new OPS and FPS I would be in game right now instead of posting on the forums. I'm not sure how the vast majority of players feel but for me I need Story, Compelling Gameplay, a little pvp when it strikes my fancy and OPS to make a good MMORPG. Swtor has these things but I am bored of repeating the class quests, there has been too few additions to pvp, ops and fps and I am not interested in replaying Kotfe. So, it's on to something else. I want to thank all those on the forums that have provided me with so much entertainment over the years and I hope you keep fighting the good fight I may not have posted often but I have read a tremendous amount here and I'm grateful for that. Take care all, and I wish you the best
  5. I've always enjoyed reading your posts; they still make me giggle Where have you been hiding Sir Marty? I seem to recall you posting in Wildstar forums but that was some time ago as well. I would gladly support your award were I a developer. Best of luck!
  6. I completed it about 2 years ago but I just finished the rishi datacrons today which gave me the 73 of 74. I've checked my codex and it shows that I have completed all datacrons on all planets.
  7. I really want to read more of this story, I was hooked right away
  8. Good post. I would like to see some of those changes as well.
  9. I have found a good comprimise for grouping/ not grouping. I joined a guild with people that I enjoy playing with. This doesn't mean I am always grouped but I will usually be on Team Speak with them while I play the game and if one of them is doing something interesting, I'll join. This way I get to interact with people which I enjoy but I don't always have to be doing something I'm not very interested in.
  10. If they have Rainbow Ponies Online I am subbing! I'm going to name my pony Sparkles; or do you think that name is reserved?
  11. I felt the same way initially and started a couple of new story lines that I had been interested in trying for a while; and like you I tend towards having one main. I thought that it would hold my interest and be enough to keep me around till there was more end game content but I am not so sure anymore. It will be interesting to see how all this pans out for SW:ToR. Happy Gaming!
  12. I see two problems with your laptop: 1. Windows 8.1 2. It's not a desktop Other than that, looks good Happy Gaming!
