  1. Don't they use the same fighting styles (Shien, Soresu, etc)? Makes sense lore-wise.
  2. Windows 8 = Windows 7, performance-wise... mostly... Well, the difference is marginal at best: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/windows-8-gaming-performance,3331-13.html That being said, I quite like it. There is a lot of stuff that I don't use, but the new interface is really intuitive and refreshing. Where it will really shine, is the homogenization of different platforms running the same OS i.e. Phone, Tablet, PC, Console, etc.
  3. Actually Blizzard allows it. My wife wanted to try out WoW before we bought another copy, and really got into it, so we just transferred her characters to her account once we purchased another license. Small monetary fee > Leveling to 85 all over again.
  4. Funnily enough, I noticed the same thing, but put it down to bad luck... Coincidence?
  5. Z-key?!? You sure? Trying to translate that into legible English gives me a headache I believe it to be one of Humankind's Great Mysteries, and that it will continue to confound philosophers for millennia.
  6. @OP At least they are listening to the community and attempting to fix major bugs ASAP. Is it really that big a deal? I'm more than willing to sacrifice a couple hours play time to get fixes for issues that mar my playing experience. Then again, I'm a casual gamer on the EU servers, and don't play 24/7, so it doesn't often affect me.
  7. Maybe I'm slow, but what do Nerfs have to do with Tauntauns? Are they in cahoots?!?
  8. Phew. Thought it was just me. Coincidentally, I was having issues with Visual Studio crashing - caused by forcing AA in the ATI control panel - So I eventually got around to disabling that and enabling in-game AA (Been meaning to do it since they added the functionality, but kept forgetting) Go figure.
  9. Has he been buffed in the last two weeks? Did him a couple of weeks ago with my Darkness Sin at 49, Talos healing, and it was actually a bit of an anti-climax. I just hopped smartly out of his Death Field and interrupted where possible. Didn't even need a medpack. The Zash fight at the end of Act I and the Jedi tosser at the end of Alderaan were more difficult. Busy rolling a Sorc now, so would like to know if there are any changes. Funnily enough, this time around, the Zash and Jedi fights were easier. Got a funny feeling I'm gonna battle with the Dream Sequence and end-game Thanaton fights... But that's probably just me being all glass-half-full. The milestone fights are VASTLY different depending on your AC and spec, but I guess that's just stating the obvious.
  10. With my Darkness Assassin, I really battled with Zash, and got a friend to help me. Once I got Talos, I absolutely PWND every major battle (Dream sequence, Thanaton, et al), it's just OP. Rolling a Madness/Lightning Sorc on a different server now, as the last one was dead, and am approaching the Zash fight with great trepidation. This time at least, I am leveling with Khem, so he won't be under-geared -_-
  11. Check out this link, The other pieces from that set are blues, though. I still use the top as I really like the plain black look, and find it far better than the Let's-put-red-LEDs-on-everything retro-futuristic-Vader look
  12. Saw a guy on The Kumumgah called Darrth, Legacy name Darrth -_- ...Yep, you guessed it - He was a Sith. Darth Darrth Darrth All I can ask is WHY?!?
  13. BioWare are the best RPG creators of all time, hands down. Since the first time I installed Baldur's Gate, they have stolen my free time, and I don't regret it at all (I did feel the NWN series was a bit weak, but played it nevertheless). Can't wait to see how they will handle end-game content, but... It's BIOWARE, for godsakes! Thumbs up! Other than a few teething problems, I believe they have done I fantastic job, and am thoroughly enjoying this game.
  14. Nov 16 and... Whapow! In like disco. Baby due any time now. Asked my wife to PLEASE hold off for the week-end XD
