  1. Yeah, you might be onto something there.
  2. Both here on WTOR official site and in-game above player names, the icons are the same. But at the advanced trainer, these are swapped the other way around. To me, the commando icon seems more fitting for the more tanky, frontline vanguard (the way it shows at the trainer). I might be wrong on that one though (what does the current vanguard icon supposed to symbolize btw?), but there is at least a minor "bug" or technical flaw here.
  3. Both. Because I don't care much for Star Wars lore. I have no feelings towards the different sides in "The old republic". I'm interested in testing the feel of different classes. Yes, I know there are mirrored classes, but they have different looks and feel to them.
  4. Not if you have a beard... It seems a bald character with no funny growths on their head is the safest bet.
  5. You could always get the Hooligan's set: http://www.torhead.com/search/hooligan's
  6. This is my experience too. I think no one has the "moral right" to question other players reasons for "needing" certain items. But when you team up with someone who seems to "need" just about every item they roll for, I get suspicious.
  7. What's up with this "end of story" childishness? Have you run out of arguments or something. I'll have a go too: "My opinion is the right one. No need to argue. End of story" Hooray! I won the thread!
  8. Have you bothered to read this thread at all? As mentioned earlier, my companion doesn't live his own life and pursue his own career. He is a part of my gaming experience, me the "REAL" player. The companion could have been a buff, a weapon, an ability, a skill, or whatever, but as it is in this game, the damage/healing output added, is made by a companion. I bet you hadn't reacted to this if I needed the item for an ability enhancement... I agree with the above poster too.
  9. People with this attitude will get added to my ignore list. Who are you? The High Commissioner of SWTOR morality?
  10. If you need instance gear at all to viably solo, you are bad. Most green stuff are viable... "Need" = want it, because it makes you more powerful, not because it is a necessity.
  11. This is actually a completely different matter. Needing on everything that gets dropped is selfish. Only reason why people do this is to make money or to give it to some other character (if it's "bind on equip"). This is not good sportsmanship in my opinion. Needing an item because you need it for your companion on the current character is not the same issue. So please don't mix up the two.
  12. I roll need when there is an item I need. Whether it's a computer commanded companion or a human commanded character is irrelevant. I still need it for my playthrough of the game. I'm amazed that some people tend to think that my companion is not me, the human player. It's not as if he (the companion) could run around and play his own game without me being logged on.
  13. Playing Astro Empires and World of Tanks.
  14. I wish one of the racials were the "Peter Griffin-farts-on-Meg" ability. Racial ability
