  1. Same, my destination server said that one of its empty slots was filled so I had to create a throwaway character (Type 4 body named EarlOfSandwich ) and then delete him, but each character I transferred took basically 1 second each.
  2. Right. Anything in your mailbox or on the GTN is left behind, but everything else moves. I had my entire inventory and vault inventory copied over perfectly (as well as all my equipment).
  3. The most I have seen on the Corsair fleet lately has been 24, but it's usually lower than that, sometimes only 3. Our transfer opened up today
  4. We're headed your way Stoic
  5. Ever think you might look at another forum?
  6. ^This is a good idea Also, even if you can't secure the names you have now, you should be able to get something better than Spoon
  7. Your guild is probably better off transferring just so you are around more people. There is no set time when the transfers will close, and Bioware said they'd give plenty of notice before they stop offering them. If you have Legacies on both servers they are supposed to merge together, so that you keep everything you unlocked on both of them.
  8. As long as no problems arise and things aren't getting overloaded, I bet they'll try to set up as many as they can.
  9. When I first started this game I picked a PVE server. I enjoy PVP (like Warzones) and although I do not RP in chat I do a lot in my head (I develop backstories and inner thoughts for my characters, but I'm not flamboyant about it). Knowing that PVP servers had open PVP, I wasn't sure I wanted to be involved with something like that. I had heard stories about open PVP in WoW, with high level players just camping and killing lower players who couldn't do anything about it. I know that sort of thing can be fun sometimes, but I didn't really want to deal with it; I really wanted to focus on my own story and fighting any cool bosses that I came across. I didn't mind the idea of RP-PVE, but I didn't know how much people would be doing it, and since chatting as my character and RPing my actions doesn't come naturally to me, I decided against it. Several months into the game I stick by my decision, I am quite comfortable in the PVE environment, and I can find enough PVP to sate my interests.
  10. I have not transferred yet, but my Guildmaster has and he reported that instead of our Origin servers fleet (10-20 people at peak times) he is seeing 120 people on the fleet in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday. Sounds good to me
  11. My server just opened up today; my guild is very excited to be moving As a side note, can someone help explain this for me? Does this mean your Legacy unlocks are re-calculated as you enter the new server, so that if I say, had a level 50 Pureblood Warrior on my Origin server but didn't move him over, my Destination server characters would "forget" their ability to get the warrior buff, make Sith Purebloods, Legacy Force Choke, etc.?
  12. All the gloom around here got me down also OP, but the game is really in a fine state. These transfers and 1.3 will help establish healthy communities.
  13. I ran into this same problem, although I don't have as many characters as you so I only have to delete a few low level characters. As others have suggested, I would first try to contact Bioware and see if they could make you a special case to move one of your servers characters elsewhere. They may not want to make any special cases, in which case I would just wait until more transfer options became available (if you want to keep all 16). If you cannot afford to wait then I suppose you'll have to decide what to do with everyone then.
  14. Don't know for sure, but there are some people who like being on an empty server. Maybe they like having everything to themselves, or maybe their computer slows down a lot when there are a lot of people. In any case, those servers are going to remain open for now, but they may be closed in the future.
