  1. I have farmed a ton through underworld trading. The lvl req for the armor piece you want to learn the schematic for corresponds to the lvl rating for the underworld trading mission you are running. For example, if you want a schematic for a lvl 43 armor piece, you will have to run the lvl 41-48 underworld trading missions. -------------------------------------------------------- I posted this previously: Since this post I have obtained a Sentinel Elite schematic from the lvl 41-48 UT missions. It is seemingly less likely to get the lvl 43 schematics than it is to get the lvl 47 schematics when running these missions.
  2. Excellent thread. I have a question regarding farming synthweaving schematics though. I am looking specifically for the Sentinel Elite and Sentinel sets that are Medium Armor and limited to Knights. The Sentinel Elite set is lvl req 43 and the Sentinel set is lvl req 19. I have farmed various schematics from running lvl 41-48 Underworld Trading (UT) missions. However, they have all been lvl req 47 pieces like Traditional Brocart or Ablative Resinite. I have ran many lvl 33-40 UT missions as well. From these missions I have acquired both lvl req 35 and 39 pieces. Top lvl UT missions have only granted me lvl req 50 pieces. I guess what I am asking is... has anyone discovered schematics from UT that are the lvl req 43 sets like Warlord's Elite/Marauder Elite/Sorcerer Adept and Peacekeeper Elite/Sentinel Elite/Consular? As of now I have only found them few and far between on the GTN. Sadly I didn't realize the rarity and never thought to ask the seller where they managed to find them. Any help is appreciated. Again, thanks for the thread. It is very informative.
  3. I only use the Rakata Medpack when the Warzone Medpack is still on CD and I am desperate for a heal. I only use the Expertise Adrenal. So pretty much I could just make green Ultimate Medpacks and play the same exact way with the same exact heals minus the temporary hp buff from using the Rakata Medpack. Being a melee dps class, the hp boost is useless to me as I will likely not be getting back to 100% hp any time soon if I need to pop my Rakata Medpack in a warzone. The stim is the main thing for me. I don't want to spend a ton on stims that persist through death. The reusable stim sells me on Biochem. Once (if) the prototype stims become significantly more powerful... I'm done with having Biochem on my main. Instead I'll just have another char with a couple companions at 400 Biochem pumping out stims/meds for use on the main.
  4. Will we be able to use Rakata stims/adrenals/medpack without having Biochem 400 in 1.2? If not, can we still pick up Synthweaving/Armortech and create a set with crit slots and then just swap back to Biochem while still having access to the crafted armor?
  5. Agree 100%. I wouldn't mind something along the lines of an additional ship in the fleet accessed through interfleet transport. Within there would be various dueling sites. Would certainly have some traffic.
  6. Don't know how none of you have 2/2 in Ferocity. Easy choice if you run a premade and you're the only marauder in the group. If you're playing against a premade that has a mara/sent with the full boost Predation/Transcendence, you will not get the ball first. Helps you get bridge controls faster, across bridge faster, to shield controls faster on offense in Void. Helps your group hold out a little longer at bridge controls and shield controls in Void on D. Helps your team reinforce/shift strength to support weak nodes faster in Alderaan. Phantom/Force Fade is nice for you and pretty much only you. It is nice to run through fire pits and pop it when you get grappled into acid, but it just doesn't help the team as much as the Predation/Transcendence boost does. I play Sentinel so I get Huttball maybe one time out of every five warzones. Having the extra speed is a distinct advantage if you're grouped with the ball carrier or you are the ball carrier. Coming from Imperial players... I would have expected all of you to have imp Predation being that you play Huttball far more frequently.
  7. Has Bioware made any comment regarding this exploit? I haven't seen anything about it even though it is a game-breaking exploit.
  8. Completely brutal exploit that has existed for far too long. I just don't understand how this hasn't been fixed. I don't even remember the last 8v8 warzone I was part of.
  9. I have run 0/16/25 0/18/23 and 3/7/31 in Warzones. As for the 0/16/25... Being able to use Wrath procs with Chain and Crushing while proccing wrath more frequently due to Barrage is pretty damn strong. Losing the critical bonus on Death Field is the big issue though. Generally you'll be dropping a Death Field every time you have Recklessness up. Even now with nerfed Biochem and all 50 warzones, putting down 3.5k+ crits is a non-issue if you have 500+ expertise. Dropping the 30% bonus is a big drop in AoE burst. However, more than anything else... I love Creeping Terror. I can't say how many times I hit the keybind for Creeping Terror when I spec out of it. That is, there are just so many situations where a long-range root is crucial and necessary. Of course, I'm talking about Huttball mainly where Creeping Terror can be used to root enemies with full resolve and to trap enemies in acid/fire when electrocute is down or trinketed. The blind from 0/18/23 static barrier pops is pretty decent if you're being mobbed by melee and can give you time to get a throw off at the last second in Huttball and will also disrupt caps in Voidstar if you're the last defender and die near the node. Aside from using Wrath procs to throw Chain, the root from 0/16 & 0/18 Overloads is the main selling point. In any given Huttball, I'll probably Overload 10-20 times. That is a damn ton of snare time. The 0/18/23 & 0/16/25 builds are on par with 3/7/31 for PvP as far as I'm concerned. I really can't do without Creeping Terror these days though... I mean, a 2 sec root that can be placed on fully resolved opponents on top of Force Slow on top of Force Lightning speed debuff on top of Electrocute on top of instant cast WW is just pure icing on the cake. You can fully resolve an enemy and still trap at range. You can stop sprinters in their tracks and prevent leaps. It's just too damn good to say no to. Oh yeah.. and it does 2k dmg and ticks for a long time to prevent caps. Gosh darn! Edit: Apparently you can't take the Lord's name in vain on these forums. Also, the forums will auto-edit you when you do take the Lord's name in vain. BW... I would never say, "gosh darn."
  10. I started to write a reply to this... but it's obviously futile. Just because your team is topping dps doesn't mean they're being smart about it. I can beat on a single Commando all day solo and top dps charts. Doesn't mean I'm good or I deserve to win. Sounds like your premade needs to learn how to focus fire and use this CC you've been talking about.
  11. The funniest part was everyone in Ilum 1 saying, "BACK UP! BACK THE HELL UP! THEY WON'T COME OUT UNLESS WE BACK UP!!! WE'RE NOT GOING TO GET THE SAME VALOR WE WERE EARLIER UNLESS WE MOVE BACK TO THE CANNON!!!!!!". Meanwhile this was long after we had already pushed you to your spawn. People were still convinced that if we hid around the corner that you would come rushing out so we could kill you in a neat little line. Personally, I think the faction imbalance is brutal and would happily swap my Inquisitor for a Consular if I could parlay all of my gear and creds and time put into playing. There is just no chance in hell that I will ever reroll Republic and abandon a level 50 Battlemaster (pre 1.1). Name on server is Cataract by the way. I was pretty disgusted by Ilum to say the least.
  12. I regularly get my 5k crit in warzones. I have 10.88% Exp bonus. Stacking Surge adrenal/relic with overcharge consumable and beserk... I find an opponent <50 (ie. no exp mitigation bonus) and drop Death Field with Recklessness popped. I run around warzones in all Champ except Pants and Belt which are Cenurion. Pants have Champ mods in them. I have BM implants/ear/head. Generally I'll crit for 4.8-5.4 or so. I rarely crit 50s for more than 5k using this method. Generally hit for somewhere in the 4.2-4.6 range. It is very possible with Death Field. I really can't say much about Chain Lightning as I haven't used it since gearing up And no... I don't have SS. If there is really no one agreeing that this is possible, I'll fraps it. Apparently Overcharge consumables won't stack with the Beserk pickup in WZs anymore... so I don't know if it will be possible after the patch.
  13. When I drop Death Field, followed by Creeping Terror, followed by Affliction... then blast Force Lightning to Proc insta-cast Crushing Darkness... all the while being healed by my crit dots and shooting insta-cast shocks... I feel so weak. Such weakness. Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention that my dots can slow and root... and my main slow ability lasts 6 seconds. Ask the melee who I'm kiting while 3 dots are ticking away if they are too weak.

  15. Just got myself to 50 as a Sorcerer on Iron Citadel. Server has a high Imp:Rep ratio just like every other server out there. Thinking I should roll out a Republic alt as my first alt that I intend to take to 50. Question is: Is there any way to exchange items/resources between Imp/Rep characters? I guess I could use the neutral trade network on Nar. Does this network incorporate a vig/fee ? That is to say, will my characters be losing credits by transferring items across factions in this fashion? If anyone has info regarding the connectivity of Imp/Rep Mains/Alts I would appreciate the input. Have been in SWTOR blackout for a few days while on the road visiting family. So don't chirp me for being lazy and not figuring these things out for myself!
