    NONE YET!
  1. Did re-re-re-REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-downloading it fix it for you?
  2. Also can't log in, it just loads forever. What's WORSE, you .... bleedy broken buggers, is that I JUST NOW finished installing the whole game, then rebooted the PC. I log into the launcher - and it is now DOWNLOADING THE GAME. Which I JUST INSTALLED. What the HELL is going on with you, NOT BioWare NOT SWTOR Team, WHAT in the name of LUCIFER are you doing?! EXPLAIN YOURSELVES!!!
  3. Time for some NECROMANCY for this thread - unless it's still relevant. ANYWAY! This issue just popped into SWTOR for me now as well. I can play for a few minutes, then it freezes, stutters, and I get a CTD. Either the recent patch broke the game, something on my PC is broken, or it's something else, and I have no idea what to do to fix it. Launcher repair doesn't work, nor using the repair option inside the launcher iteslf, so I am erasing everything for a re-install on a different drive. Hope it works or BioWare loses a Sub and EA will get a bit less money - their ultimate nightmare. LESS MONEY. If I can't fix it, THEY must fix it.
  4. Don't forget that the CIS was technically far more numerous. As soon as droids, fighters and vehicles with droid brains or programming centers were finished, so were their programs, they didn't need training, or rarely did. As the Tactical Droid poitns out in the Rebels episode "The Last Battle of the Clone Wars", the CIS vastly outnumbered the Republic and the Clone Army. (info from The Clone Wars, Legends Canon, Disney/Lucas Canon, Rebels). So had it turned out a bit differently, the victors could have been the CIS with ease. As for the droid army in overall, after the Battle of Naboo, 10 years before the Clone Wars broke out, the Droid Control Computer used by the Trade Federation was rapidly phased out to allow the droids to 'fend for themselves' - they were made slightly more efficient and mostly self-sufficient, removing the reliance of a central control system. A few programs and expanded hardware were added to allow the droids to 'evolve' on their own, but due to space limitations for memory and learning, they mostly didn't get very far. Their improvements or the opposite could be anything from better humor, better shooting/aiming, more common sense, improved tactical 'thinking', almost anything that didn't require the Force. They could pretty much think, just not on the same level as sentients, but most droids, primarily B1s, could be seen as sentient, or semi-sentient. Just a bit or VERY stupid. But as the canon was laid out, it was focused on the Republic coming out on top with - for one, Anakin getting strong enough and turning. Had he died, Palpatine would either have extended the war further, or had the CIS win. It is a debate we can have going for.... well, as long as Star Wars is remembered. Or until an alternate outcome is given to use in a cinematic or tv series style.
  5. BioWare clearly doesn't care. Bad as this sounds, I suggest you just get rid of that stronghold and use another one. And if they crash too, ignore the broken features and just don't use them.... which is almost the whole game now. lol Having this issue and more myself, I can't seem to fully install the game with BitRaider (basically a virus exclusively designed to drive people away from SWTOR, EA or BioWare possibly wants to kill the game?) or without it- it just stops halfway every time. I think a FROG can make a better program at this point.
  6. It doesn't help much as BitRaider is a virus just as it is - it keeps being downloaded by the game. I know how to gte rid of it, but I don't think I can install it anymore without it. If I try, the game won't even download the movies, it just freezes.
  7. WOW, did the author remove it, or did BioWare get p!ssed off over criticism! I managed to read it a few hours ago... hmmm.. should I repost and risk being banned by a butthurt BugoWare? Ooooh, decisions decisions...
  8. I just made a thread of this, and I also think all the old level 20, 40 and 50 PvP sets need to be restored. Well, some can be ignored, since similar sets were very recently added to Legacy Gear Vendors, like Supreme Inquisitor and so on. But that is jsut a half-arsed gift, the rest needs to be added! I got a few more Battlemaster Force-Mystic sets in storage for myself, 20 actually on several chars combined, but sellign a few too. People really want these sets back, and BioWare needs to grow a bit more CARE CAPACITY and just... add it. How hard can it be?
  9. NUCLEAR BUMB! This needs to happen!
  10. I have a rather distinct, outright BLOATED feeling that this has been asked before, but... BioWare/EA/whoever.... removing all the old endgame sets entirely was a rather massive mistake. They were not the most beautiful to some players, some still hate them to this day, but what you did was annihilate a sense of individuality. Now, all sets for every class look the same per class. A slight change as you tier up, thats it. Why not be a bit nice and return all the old sets as Legacy Gear? Or at least the old endgame schematics, but a bit changed so they can be used at low levels? There are a few crafters that make the old level 50 Battlemaster PvP sets, but I've not seen any of them online on the servers for a long time, so please, try to care just a little bit - and read... - and do one of these, as logn as they are made obtainable again? Legacy Vendoring them would be best, then anyone can easily get them. You've done this with a few class sets already, why not go all the way and restore more and more? Or be greedy (but clever!) and add them to cartel market as their own pack. LEGACY pack or something, level 1 item sets. The packs would only give the old endgame sets - or identical ones with new names if that is better, no other armor sets. Here are pictures in case you need a reminder of what they look like! http://i.imgur.com/gMGD35h.png http://i.imgbox.com/f06lfp1m.jpg http://i.imgbox.com/KLGM6dk1.jpg http://i.imgbox.com/gU2xPWH7.jpg http://i.imgbox.com/o5jJgLGH.jpg Couldn't find images of the Republic versions, but you get the idea. Restoring as much of that as possible would be EXTREMELY APPROVED OF by thousands of your players, me amonst them. PLEASE?
  11. Gotten a lot worse... and its just not max level PvP, I am finding a lot of... dummies impsíde, but I also meet reps that outright laugh endlessly and toss around insults while completely murdering the enemy team. And its against other rep teams too. But yeah, the lack of gear at times is worrying. People are either stupid, or dont care, or are just there to sabotage or something. I wish there was some forced balancing and less need for gear, or like many other threads specify, permit PvP with only fully geared people, and not limit it to just RANKED and UNRANKED. But yeah, its an issue to find people that know what to do, or don't give a bleedy flap about it. And facing either partial or complete premades either out to destroy your team 100% for lols or if you just go on bad teams... its saddening. And yeah, I am a bit of a crybaby if you were going to say that, deal with it in your own way... uhm... ram a wall perhaps? Hope people either learn to gear up or other PvP types are introduced, it is badly needed. Let the new meat play against equally new and uncaring meat, or idiots if thats the case, some system that analyzes what first timers and new guys do in WZs. I know, sounds bad, wrong and other things you might think of, but it would help... and corss-server PvP, whty is it not a thing? Would be shorter queue times too.
  12. Well, at least I've given BioWare some food for thought, and I like those ideas - more funcitonality to weapon tunings. Damage or something. But let's hope they just add more variant to cosmetic appearances first, mmmh? One thing at a time.
  13. ICE effect is basically smoke going towards the ground. Adding that to the list!
  14. Like the title says, I got a few suggestions on the availability and unlocking of the Weapon Tuning mods. Currently we have Lightning, but here are a few suggestions on HOW TO OBTAIN them, instead of just being lucky enough to get it from a crate. Every single suggestion here is debatable and may be questioned or outright hated if people so wish. HOW OBTAIN WEAPON TUNINGS 1: Specific or random, RARE drop on some Bosses. Either in flashpoints on HM and Operations on SM, HM and NiM. SM drops should be very rare, probably limited to once per ops run at most 50-75%. On HM, chance of drop goes up to 75-100% on end boss. On NiM, it is 100% on end boss. Two may drop if it is a 16 man ops run, but a second drop should be even lower. FOR FLASHPOINTS, they should be rare, but less rare in HM, and either Bound On Pickup, or Bound To Legacy. 2: Craftable versions - since there will be several types of Weapon Tuning - maybe fire, smoke, plasma, or dripping goo, relevant type should be craftable by a specific crafting skill. That, or all Tuning Mods can be crafted by any crafting skill. Cost to crast in terms of credits and meterials should naturally be sufficently high and not spammable. 3: Cartel Market Certificates and Credits from vendors and Reputation Vendors. These are naturally only useable by the buyer, and cannot be sold to anyone else. 4: Achievement Reward, which ought to be a more... well, TUNY Tuner, like even more Lightning effects. 5: LEGENDARY VERSION which has one or more effects in it instead of just one. Like fire AND lightning, or dark side energies and lightning. Bosses that drop these should be truly challenging ones, like Nightmare Mode bosses in specific operations that drop only one or two types of Tuning mods relevant to the Operation itself. TYPES OF WEAPON TUNERS Here are some Tuner types I have in mind. Some may seem plain moronic, but I might as well put out everything at once anyway. NOTE1 : Some effects will not apply to anything but Lightsabers and some should only apply to Blaster Pistols, Sniper Rifles and Blaster Rifles depending on the Tuning itself. NOTE 2: Colour depends on weapon colour crystal unless otherwise specified by the Weapon Tuning Mod. (example: Dark Side/Purple Lightning Tuning Mod, ignores colour crystal colour) 1: Lightning Effect (already available) 2: Fire/Flame Only Effect 3: Fire and Smoke Effect 4: Smoke Only Effect 5: Dark Side Energy Effect 6: Toxic Fumes Effect 7: Plague Effect (like the rakghoul plague glow) 8: Plasma Effect 9: Void Effect (black center, sizzling edges) 10: Glowing Orbs/Spheres Effect 11: Pure Electricity/Lightning Effect (lightsabers would turn entirely into a blade of lightning) 12: Sonic Sound/Sound Wave Effect 13: Fiery Aura Effect (seen on the Dread Masters in cutscenes) 14: Fuming Effect (weapon model and saber will fume appropriately coloured steam or smoke) 15: Frost/Ice Smoke Effect - Cold Smoke going towards the ground instead of up. Suggested by Astaldoath ENHANCED versions of Tuning Mods should partially apply directly to the weapon model as well, like a Lightsaber having an extreme Dark Side Energies effect would partially cover the hilt with a similar effect. SUPREME/LEGENDARY/OVERCHARGED effects are extreme versions and should drop from specific World Bsses and Operations end bosses. And of course, Cartel Market aquired Weapon Tuning Mods I think should be available in collections, but unlockable for a fairly high Cartel Coin price, or the value of the Tuning Mods will sink and people will overprice it like insane. Making it NOT part of collections has just made people overprice it unrealistically high, despite credits being easier to get, but not that easy. And it does not really permit non-subscribers to get any Weapon Tuning Mods themselves, ever. So, crattable, vendor and flashpoint versions should be available too. These are my suggestions, and anyone is allowed to add their own ideas to this, or they made ignore it, hate it, or voice any opinion they like. I can't exactly prevent it. But I RECOMMEND it is kept civil and reasonable. ...Liking this stuff is OK too!
  15. MMORPG.com... yeaaaah, I just looked there once. Saw the name of a threat and first reply, never went back. People there are truly BRAIN DAMAGED, less, more, or completely mentally invalid. Keep in mind, there are people that LIVE on being jerks, cuz they pretty much stink at literally everything else in life and games if it does not have cheats. As for ANY guildelines WITHIN a game on what is OK and NOT OK to say is generally either auto-blocked by a profanity filter, or people simply dont read the crap someone says. My reasoning for saying this: Very few ever fully or even partially follow guidelines in multiplayer games of any kind. If chatting of any kind is possible, always stay prepped for one or other form of extreme raging or jsut "OMG NOOB PLEASE GET YOURSELF HANGED!". It is the internet, after all, and it is the msot free place in the world, with free speech and all, within reason... but many people don't even know what reasonable means, let alone know the word. All I can do, pesonally, is either let things slide, ask people to behave jsut slightly better, report them, or outright ignore them, with or without /ignore function. As long as they dont stalk me with all kinds of spam with hate, threads, death threats, hack threats nd all that, I'll let them be. My quote of the day: "Never consider helping a lost cause, you'll only make them want to kill you."
